Alert, Alert, this company (Greentek Property Solutions, LLC) is the worst business I’ve encountered in all my years doing business. I warn everybody not to be fooled by the words that they speak and even the pictures you request of some of the jobs they have done. This is my experience with this company. Before I signed a contract I did I thought was research on company and the talk was okay with the consultant Josh. My last request was could you send me some pictures of tile roofs the company has done. Long story short he sent pictures of tile roofs off the internet and not the work of the company he represented. I will find this out later! He sold me a lie. However, I signed a contract with this company and now I am stuck with poor workmanship and slimy customer service. This company did an awful job on my tile roof. They removed and replaced my old tile roof and replaced a new roof. To be honest the old roof appearance looked better than the new roof. This company didn’t replace the old flashing and left the flashing bent up and some parts showing, and other parts hidden. Normally, when a roofing company place a new roof they replace the flashing, according to five the roofing contractors I have spoken to. They informed me it’s not up to the customer, it’s part of the replacement. To add, the company applied excessive mortar that is awful looking when observed and we are not satisfied with the workmanship. I offered to have another roofing company come and rectify the issues and the owner stated it would default on my warranty. The owner (John Franco) is totally aware of the issues and stated himself they applied to much mortar and stated he would send a crew out to straighten the flashing, never happened. Beware, their customer service is the worst! To the present they are breaching the contract as you read this review when it comes to customer satisfaction and workmanship. My reason for stating that the company is slimy is because I was communicating my dissatisfaction with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and Greentek to come up with a resolution to correct the issues with my roof. To see the communication go to the BBB website and click on complaints. Furthermore, while talking about the issues the company and still responding to the BBB. We were still I thought in trying to resolve the issues on my roof. We received certified mail on 10/17/2023 from an attorney Greentek Property Solutions, LLC that indicated a lien was placed on our property while we were still in communication with them. Even further after reading the certified mail we called the attorney, and he went on to say that Greentek had started foreclosure on the lien. Slimy, slimy, this is the only time they honored the contract, because consumer satisfaction and workmanship is out the window. What the company said I owed a balance, and I did. The way I’m familiar with business is when the job is complete the company issue a final invoice for payment to the debtor for final payment. With this process the debtor has a certain time to make the payment 10 days 30 day which at that time a late fee is accumulated. Greentek sent the invoice to the attorney they retained, and never sent an invoice to me. “SLIMY,” making my final payment was never an issue with me and I informed the company and the owner (John Franco). Once again, complete job, send final invoice and we’re closed. With this company I tried to get my roof done right while payment was still pending, because I knew once they received the final payment I would be stuck with dissatisfaction and relying on issues, and I’m stuck. After satisfying final payment and lien removal on this property I call the company a few weeks later to ask if they would be rectifying the same issues and take a guess, they said they would only be coming out if I had a problem going forward. I knew this would happen and I have an issue with the workmanship RIGHT NOW! Alert, Alert, do not trust anyone from this company (Franco, Samatha, Courney, Josh). Check out BBB complaint.

I am pleased with GreenTek's work. A job well done! I, however, think it is important for GreenTek to train its front office people to communicate effetively with GreenTek's customers. Most homeowners are going through this process for the first time, and it is importnat that every employee of GreenTek understand that homeowners may need a bit more detailed and clearer explaination of what is happening. Also, the homeowners should not be made to feel as if they are a bother when questions are asked. Better communications, better business. Thank you.

We had an issue with our insurance company replacing our roof. Greentek used all their resources to make sure we did get our roof replaced.it did take a while dealing with the insurance but we did get our new roof and it look great. We did have an issue with some flashing tearing off some of our stucco. Greentek immediately scheduled this issue to be repaired and it was in a timely fashion. Everyone at Greentek has great customer service and willing to help in anyway they can. It was such a pleasure working with a company that is truly concerned with their customer and their needs We highly recommend this company you will not be disappointed

GreenTek Property Solutions did an Outstanding Job of assisting me with the roof replacement of my home. They were extremely professional and courteous starting with their field inspection personnel, office staff and roofing crew. After assisting me with the requirements of my home insurance claim, the scheduling and delivery of required roofing materials, a trash dumpster, to include an outstanding and professional roofing crew, I was amazed at how well, "and fast" the process was completed once approved. I had a great experience with GreenTek and would highly recommend them to my friends and family. Thank You again GreenTek for a great job.

I have nothing but incredible things to say about this company. They did quality work. They were neat, on time, Respectful of not only me but the property. From everyone in the office to people out in the field doing the initial consult to their workers who get up on the roof! I was thrilled with every step of this process. They were patient in answering every question and going over every detail. I have heard nightmare stories from others that THEIR contractors took way too long to get things done, they were very sloppy , nails everywhere. That is NOT the case with Green Tek! They are detailed orientated I DID NOT have one complaint! I will be referring them to anyone I come across that needs their roof done !

I am extremely happy with Greentek. I had called them after we had repeated leaks in our roof repaired, and noticed the recent work they had done on a neighbors roof. James came to the house walked us through how the process was going to go, and what to expect. They were very clear in the timeline that it was going to take based on theIr current workload. In the meantime, James was here to meet my insurance company adjuster and went over the damage with him. Sure enough, I was contacted when The paperwork was completed and put on the schedule for the following week. We have a large roof, and it was completed in 2 days. The roof looks great, and we are happy we chose to go with Greentek. I have recommended them to numerous neighbors, who are all happy with their experience.

Experience with GreenTek was very positve from start to finish. We needed to replace our roof within a very constrained time-line. GreenTek was able to schedule and complete the work well within our requirements. The communication that GreenTek provided leading up to, during, and after installation was supurb. We were provided with several options to fit our budget, information regarding differences in warranties, project duration, and recommended preparation before the project. GreenTek's crew was professional, maintained a clean job-site each day, and were thorough in their clean-up when the job was completed. After completion of the project, GreenTek was very prompt to provide needed documentation as requested by our insurance company. I highly recommend GreenTek, and sincely appreciate all of the help.

Contracted Greentek to do the roof work for $22,237 on 03/09 work was completed on time. I paid $22,237 and sent a email saying the balance is zero. 07/05 they wanted $37,000 for the roof work . They have been sending out emails that there is a balance of 15K when I ignored it, more emails saying warranty will not be covered. then started Phone calls during my business Hours abusive language saying " you don't understand " I thought that only employees are abusive and not ready to listen I asked the owner to call . On 08/05 the owner called I hung up after initial talk. No use. if they would have asked upto 10% more I would have paid 65 plus percentage above the original quote no way. Greentek is trying to extract more money than what they contracted. Good thing is I have the copy of contract and three quotes at the same time for the roof. Be Careful with Greentek on Contract related things. I would not refer them to anyone I still believe they do Quality Roof Job.

so working with greentek they are slow and some of the sub contractors they work with are even slower we had wind damage mid oct last year 2019 although there was a delay on the roof due to confusion with the insurance company. then they contacted me to sign off on the roof so they could get the rest of the money but the job has not been finished. The screening has now been completed but was not done without calls to them after the first contractor cancelled his appointment and they had to send out someone else also the contractor that was due to come and repair the inside of the house cancelled on the day of inspection due to vehicle problems and 2 weeks later i still havnt heard anything back the work on the front porch ceiling repair they know all about but no contact has been made to repair. i should not have to be chasing them to do the work if they want the payments then they should be contacting me we are now at the end of Feb 2020 i will update this report when and if work gets completed

My experience with Greentek has been very positive since the day of the inspection and estimate to the last payment. All the unexpected events that happened always had a solution. Great communication with all employees especially Brian. Brian was my first interaction with Greentek, he came for an estimate and stayed in contact until the last payment. He answered every question that I had independently if it was his area of expertise or not, he will find the answer and explain it to me. I asked for different materials for my roof and he within minutes or next day will have the estimate ready for me. After I signed the contract, Brian stayed in contact helping me with the shingles, colors and all communication related to the job. Tim, also part of the team, he helped me with a particular custom-made skylight that I had. He explained an idea that came to him to replace it with a better outcome. The truth is that now the skylight is way better than before, from the outside to the inside. Tim has the experience and the vision that will help you out with your project.

I would not hire GreenTek. They were hired in October to repair tornado damage to my home. At first they were very helpful. They tarped my roof to prevent further damage and brought in large dehumidifiers to keep mold from forming. A new roof was put on. However, things went bad after that. The drywall repairs were poorly done and they needed to return and do it over again. They never finished the soffit repairs or repairs on my porch ceiling. Calls and emails were not returned for several months. My attic was left open to the elements and squirrels and rats made a home. This went on for weeks. I finally hired the soffit work completed and my attic was enclosed.

Part of their appeal to me was that they agreed to work with the insurance company on the claim. This has been a nightmare. The claim is still not settled after more than a year. They billed the insurance company for work they did not do and for items I paid for. I have not been paid a dime for the over $3000.00 I paid out of my own pocket.

If they offer to take care of damage covered by insurance, my opinion it to run, not walk away.

The man who came to our home, not once but twice was very unprofessional. The first time he left a flier with a female occupant. This was after lying to her and yelling her that the homeowners association had sent him (red flag) and then when she said she wasn't the owner he proceeded to ask a bunch of question about who was, where he was currently and when would he be home (red flag). She contacted the me and I called the homeowners association who said they did NOT send him or his company. Then when I got homea couple hours later and was still in my car pulling up the the house I saw a man walking to the door through my yard. I rolled down the window and told him politely that I was not interested in anything he was selling and that there's a no solicitation policy in this neighborhood and to have a nice day. This man turned around and started YELLING at me saying, "I'm not selling anything". I then told him he needed to leave my property immediately. He did leave. I contacted our homeowners association, our security agency, and the local sheriff's dept. I also contacted the business to let them know how their employee is treating and lying to prospective customers.

Greentek Property Solutions knocked on my door and explained that they work with homeowners to have homeowners insurance companies repair or replace roofs after wind and/or storm damage. As promised, they advocated and fought on our behalf whenever the insurance company denied our claims, which happened several times throughout the process. The process took about 6 months from the time they knocked on our door to job completion of a total roof replacement. My only complaints are that the from an administrative and communication perspective, things started to fall apart towards the end of the process. On two separate occasions, Greentek employees made unscheduled visits to complete work that had already been done. Once, ok...but twice? Then there was also a miscommunication about my materials that caused us to submit a change order that ended up being a completely unnecessary waste of my time. There were two out of pocket costs; our insurance deductible and the plywood charges at the end of the job. I must say that I don't like their approach to collecting wood charges at the end of the job. This is the email I received. "I have attached the links to our review pages. Once you have completed the reviews, I will apply a $100 discount towards your balance. I do want to inform you that, we offer the review discount on the premise that the review is going to be positive. When you do complete these reviews, if they are negative I will not be able to apply the discount towards your wood charges." So, basically even if you had a bad experience with Greektek Property Solutions and want to be truthful about it they try to discourage you by withholding the wood discount at the end. The price was excellent for what I got, but they need to tighten up certain aspects of their operations.

Our roof replacement job involved both outdoor and indoor work and fortunately was mostly covered by homeowner's insurance. While most Greentek employees were initially helpful and adept at interfacing with our insurer, and although the company has appeared to do a satisfactory job with respect to the roof, there were some unexpected issues. For example, the subcontractors, thankfully, replaced portions of the fascia due to their discovery of rotted wood. However, the new wood has been left bare and unpainted for over three months because Greentek claimed this aspect was an 'add on' to the project and is not typically covered by insurance. This bare wood is quite unattractive since Greentek has left it exposed and unpainted. It will require additional work on my part to address and complete. I was caught unaware of this possibility and would much prefer Greentek assist with full work completion or provide a referral for a company that can get the job done. Also, although the entire roof replacement job was not complex, it has required numerous house visits, phone calls and e-mails on my part, as homeowner, to correct and adjust the Greentek work order and other project deficiencies. For example, there has been significant administrative delays in completing the needed internal work because of the leaky roof. In fact, this work, three months later, remains undone. Yet Greentek has insisted that I pay for this work, although it is still unscheduled on their project calendar. It seems that Greentek is quite adept at interfacing with insurance companies for typical roof replacement due to weather wear and damage. However, the company has displayed an inability to adjust to routine project conditions, such as painting newly installed fascia board and restoring and painting damaged interior walls. This lack of agility has resulted in unbearable delays, such that completion of the project has not yet been achieved four months since the project started in April .

I signed a contract with GreenTek in November . The job happened from January to April. When I checked the roof after their work, I noticed it looked messy and unprofessional. I've emailed, called, and texted GreenTek multiple times about the issues, but they haven't done anything to fix them. I even asked for a copy of the engineer's report, but they didn't respond. After inspecting my roof post-GreenTek, I was unhappy with the following: the trim on the roof is brown instead of terracotta and needs to match the house, the tiles are uneven, there are sharp metal edges, the cement is smeared unevenly, the vent wasn't reinstalled properly, the gutters are damaged, and the lanai screen is torn.
