Dear madam /sir

Last Nov/ Dec 22 I have bought your lovely Gold diamond Celtic heart dangle earrings and my wife is very pleased with how they look.

The backing of one earring has an open loop, whick enables easy closure and preventing losing the earring.

Hiwever, the other earring’s loop is completely closed and hence fits insecurely. Sharon lost this earring several times.

It appears to be a manufacturing fault.

This necklace was purchased as a gift from my Husband, to give to me at a special event in May after a very difficult couple of years.

The necklace originally arrived some time after the expected date which should have been the first sign that this transaction would be problematic. Upon receipt, the necklace (white gold allegedly at the highest price) was very poorly made with a break in the securing link which was also bent out of shape, leaving it impossible to wear without risking the loss of the diamond and white gold pendant.

I immediately got in touch via the suggested email on the 13th June. It is now the 15th July and Glencara are not responding to correspondence, have not sent a replacement necklace as agreed and have received the returned faulty one, leaving me with a pendant that I am unable to wear.

I have emailed them on 9 occasions, initially after a long wait they did respond apologising and advising that they would replace the necklace once I had returned the faulty item. This was on the 19th June. On the 30th June I received an email saying that my replacement was being processed, that is the last time I heard about my replacement.

I am really disappointed as not only was this a gift, but it symbolised love and devotion after, as I mentioned, a particularly traumatic time where we suffered great personal loss.

Having read the other reviews, I now have grave concerns that the diamond and white gold necklace ordered will not meet the description, so I will take the pendant to be independently appraised.

I hope to update this review with a positive outcome but as it stands I cannot give any praise for this company whom it appears has no qualms in taking peoples money but are unable and unwilling to provide the product or service that they advertise.

On May 1, 2023 I ordered a Gold Diamond Celtic Heart Necklace for my wife’s May 19 birthday from Glencara. The order confirmation stated its retail value at $8,128, but I only had to pay $4,383 which I did using my credit card. I was told the necklace would be delivered between May 18th and 20th but I didn’t receive it until June 2. It arrived through United Parcel Service (UPS) without the requirement for a signature confirming receipt which made me suspicious. There was not an appraisal with the necklace either which made me more suspicious.

My wife wasn’t happy with the diamond’s setting or the quality of the chain. I decided to have the necklace appraised on June 3 by a local jeweler to see if it was worth the $8,128 that Glencara said it was. The appraisal valued the necklace at $4,700 but the appraiser said both the setting and chain were cheaply made. After seeing the appraisal my wife decided that she didn’t want to keep the necklace.

I checked Glencara’s website for their return policy and found that if the item was in an unworn condition, which it was, an item could be returned for any reason within the 60 day trial period for a full refund.

I complied with the website’s return instructions and sent it through the United States Post Office (USPS) insured with signature service to Glenireland in Wilmington, Delaware, Glencara’s US office, on June 5. The necklace was received and signed for by Glenireland on June 7.

I have contacted Glencara numerous times since asking for the status of my refund. The last response I received was on June 27 during which I was told that I couldn’t get my refund until the necklace was logged in at their office in Ireland. When I questioned why it was taking so long to get the necklace logged in I didn’t get a response.

I urge anyone thinking of making a purchase from Glencara to think twice about doing so. I have numerous emails documenting my conversations with Glencara’s sales department on this matter and it has gotten to the point that I cannot believe anything they tell me. All I can say is buyer beware! This company is one of the worst I have ever purchased from.

Placed an order with the delivery date for a week after. Couple days later got an email saying that the piece had to be manufactured, so the delivery time would be for nearly 3 weeks later. Piece shipped on the 27th June with the promise of 2-5 working days delivery and nothing. When contacted the customer service, the dates just kept changing. When requested for a refund, the company said the pieces were already shipped so no refund would be given and offered me 10%. As far as I know, the pieces might not have been shipped and it's a scam. I have no interest in the pieces and will definitely not shop or recommend this place ever again. What initially seemed like a good deal has turned into a waste of my time and money.

My order was placed on sunday 11th june with estimated delivery paid for by 15th 16th June.

It is now the 23rd june and still no delivery.

You have taken my money from the account but without the 10% discount promise that you mentioned in my first complaint.

My sister is terminally ill and her birthday was 18th june and she still does not have her present.

This service is deplorable condsidering the type of gift this is and for the present that was supposed to be so special to my sister for possibly her last birthday.

Customer service is non existent by phone and e-mail is never replied to promptly ?

I ordered a silver diamond bangle, I paid £106 for it. I was told it would arrive in 3 to 5 days.

I have emailed numerous times, one particular customer service advisor, Niamh, suggested I waited a it longer as they were busy, it had only been 10 days after all, she then sent me a track a delivery number for Royal Mail which doesn't exist. The last email I received last week stated that they was sorry for the delay, but would have it re-ordered and re-sent that same day.

As seems to be the pattern looking at other complaints, nothing has arrived. I have asked several times for a refund, they just choose to ignore my emails.

I ordered 2 claddagh rings; one simple gold over silver and the other with an Emerald heart and 2 small diamonds on each side. I only received the simple gold ring, I didn't get the Ladies Emerald Diamond Gold over Silver claddagh ring. However, both rings were listed on the invoice with NO explanation as to why the ladies emerald ring was not included.

Order bracelet on 27th April white gold emmerald. Told me 3 ro 5 working days and it's now the 15th of May. I have emailed them 7 times now and been replied to 3 times with same rubbish ie here your tracking number and we are sorry for delay. Then recieved another email saying we are sorry and my parcel was untracked as emails stated. I have replied to that particular email now 3 times over 3 days showing them actually you said it was tracked and here is your tracking number that you emailed me. We have now heard nothing since 12th of May. Think this company are fraudulent. STAY AWAY

I bought a Necklace as anniversary gift for wife on 31 of March.

They provided a FedEx track number. After over 3 weeks I haven't received the item. Then I called FedEx and for my surprise, they said "although the track number was legit, there was no parcel anywhere I FedEx logistics network"

Tried to mitigate this with Glencara which just asked for more and more time , here we are in May and nothing no parcel, no refund (asked multiple times).

I believe they're operate on a SCAM model where some of the sales are legit so they build reputation and lure buyers while they plan to scam them along. Specially if you're located overseas.

I purchased a men’s claddagh ring in February, after my husband’s ring was lost when he was struck by a car, catapulted 30 feet and critically injured. The ring arrived damaged, bent and mis-sharpened. I returned the ring, which they claimed they never received, I sent them a copy of the USPS tracking receipt. Specifically stated I expected a full refund for the $300+ purchase. 12 days later, still no refund. They keep emailing me telling me I can have a credit for the ring — I don’t want a credit, I want a full refund as promised on their website!

I ordered this item along with two other pieces. I decided after a few days did not longer wanted to purchase them. I contacted the comapany before they were dispatched to cancel. Was told I have to receive them and return, 3 days later got a email to state they only processed for delivery. I recieved two of the 3 items in November 2022 and contacted this company about a refund, was told to wait for the 3rd item and if sent all 3 back will get a full refund. So waitied and after two Months , 3rd item not received, asked if could still return the two items had received for a refund, told only get store credit, why would I want store credit for two items wanted to return, from a company which the 3rd item I paid for never arrived , so could return for a refund?

Ive now two pieces which they wont let me return for a refund , unless accept store credit and 3rd item which paid close to eur 600 which they refusing to take seriosuly , sent over 60 emails from nov 2022 to April 2033.

Getting no where.

Any suggestion?

I can send all emails if required. I email them every second day to remind them need this resolved.

I ordered a pair of earrings on 2/13/23. My credit card statement shows the purchase. The Glencara website order form indicated I would receive the order within 2 weeks which was great since they were a birthday present for my wife on 3/4. It is now 4/6 and still no earrings that have been paid for in full.

I sent an email to Glencara on 2/28 requesting the status of the order and got a response from someone named Katie saying the earrings would ship the following Tuesday (after the birthday). That would have been 3/7. Two weeks later, I still had not received the earrings so I sent another email and got an automated response saying they were backed up and would get to my email eventually and not to email them again as that would bump me down on the order of response.

So now I am out $184 and my wife has no earrings and I have no recourse.

I placed an order and they saying they have sent when I've checked tracking and time it got delivered I was at work and don't finish work while 3.15 Tuesday to Friday so it's impossible for me to have signed for it and I sign stuff h.moore so someone has ended up with my package and glencara won't even respond to any emails I send them so I want my money back they can keep there items as I will never use them again

I purchased a 1275$ white gold and sapphire claddaugh engagement ring. The ring did not arrive for weeks and was initially sent to the wrong house. When I finally received the ring it was of extremely poor quality and since it was intended as a engagement ring/Xmas present the surprise was ruined and I was absolutely disgusted by the quality. I followed the instructions to the letter in order to return the ring for a full refund WELL within the 60 day refund period. It is now 3 months later and they keep making excuses about why they can't refund my money to my credit card. They claim there is a charge back preventing the refund from going through. My credit card company says this is not true. It seems very likely that I will have to file a lawsuit in small claims to get my money back. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM GLENCARA JEWELRY THEYRE A SCAM.

Hi There, My name is Kathleen Day. I purchased miraculous lady medal and chain in 10ct Gold which was delivered to myself, On receiving it was disappointed with the product and emailed yourselves for a full refund. I have emailed and phoned nearly every day and still haven’t received my refund? It’s been over six weeks. So I have contacted my bank and they are looking into this matter.It was delivered and signed for to you on the 7th February and unfortunately I’m still waiting for my Refund of £266.40 of my Debit card plus £35 of Paypay to upgrade the chain.! Despite a string of emails I'm getting no where fast. I bought a locket for 80.82 in January 2023. When I received it the catch was faulty so I returned it at a cost of 1.25 and I was refunded the 1.25

A replacement locket was sent but omg the engraving on the back was dreadful and the front of the locket was just awful. So following the email I sent to complain, the response was to return it registered post at a cost of 8.00 and an investigation would take place and someone would get back to me.

After hearing nothing I sent several emails and was offered another replacement which I refused, I requested a full refund. Then I was offered a store credit which would amount to 105 euro but I declined.

Anyway I get a refund of 79.57 and when I questioned this figure I was told I already received the 1.25 🥴

So even though I don't have the locket I paid out nearly 10 euro for nothing.

Customer service is a disgrace .

My items never arrived. They are not helpful at all and condescending. My item was to arrive by 12/29/22. I still don’t have them. I have emailed them at least 10 times. They just keep saying, thank you for being patient. It will arrive shortly. Literally, the SAME RESPONSE EVERY TIME! I have requested supervisors and corporate numbers and they won’t give me any Avenue of help. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! There are too many other GREAT Irish stores that actually are legit.

Original order for white gold ring placed 27/11/22 with delivery due 29/11/22. Paid for next day delivery.

Email received 29/11/22 advising order would be delivered 7-8/12/22. OAsked to cancel order due to delay but offered a "stand in" silver ring to return on receipt of original order. Accepted and asked if could change original order to a different ring of same value since the original item had been second choice but ordered as first choice would have arrived too late.

Wrong ring delivered on 21/12/22 (the order was posted on 14/12/22 but not delivered until 21/12/22 due to Royal Mail strikes). Contacted and advised they will send correct item.

6/1/23 order arrived but ring was not engraved. Reply from Glencara was that engraving machine broke and they could offer refund on engraving cost plus 10% refund. I declined and asked for correct order to be sent. Glencara agreed once they received and processed return or incorrect order but advised to place another order if the item was needed sooner which I did.

Order placed 16/1/23 (not via website but invoiced direct and paid via PayPal), order acknowledged 20/1/23. Website stated delivery for same item would be by 1/2/23 when received acknowledgement. bToday it says item would be delivered by 7/2/23 if ordered today. Email received 27/1/23 advising the product had been put into production and due for delivery 10-13/2/23.

Returned the original order (and other items ordered) which was signed for on 10/1/23. Then told returns and refunds take 4 - 5 weeks to process.

Very displeased with the appalling service and upset at the costs I am incurring through credit card interest.

I ordered a pair of earrings on 12/9/2022., received an email about a week later advising earrings were in production. Never received original product, but was charged to my credit card payment. Advised via email that product was not received . I was advised, that company would send another set of earrings and I was to return original order when arrived.

Today I received the second order and guess what? They sent the wrong earrings. I ordered Silver and Yellow gold Claddagh Dangle earrings. Purchase for Silver price was 64.00 and I added the gold for $50. more for a total of $114.US.. They sent They sent Silver and no Gold.

My first order did not arrive and had emailed twice about this.They said they would check with deliveries and said they would resend. Today I received the wrong order which was paid for on November 25th. The bangle was supposed to be for a birthday present. Anyway my order was for 1 custom made silver horse drop earring which cost 24.94 and I also order the 14k white gold over silver bangle €128.88, total paid €162.13. Inv. No. [protected]

What can I do now, will I return one earring and the bracelet I dont want and to what address do I send it to. When am I going to get the proper bangle bracelet.
