I wish I had read the reviews online, especially on Trust Pilot--1 star and an "F" rating by the Better Business Bureau.

As I feared, they make it EXTREMELY difficult to cancel during your "free" 7-day trial. The reason for that should be obvious as their goal is to charge you the full membership amount. It is not free, regardless if you are lucky enough to cancel within the 7 days, you will NEVER get the initial $1.95 charge refunded. I thought that charge was just to check if you entered a valid credit card number

I had to send a test to my college professor in pdf format. I simply join the free trial, converted my images to pdf, saved an extra copy on my computer, and sent it to my professor. Very quick and easy. Then, I immediately cancelled my subscription so I wouldn't be charged (and wouldn't forget about it)

I needed to write a letter of recommendation, logged onto FormSwift.com and completed the document with ease. I read the terms of the site and got to use it completely FREE as stated. When I went to cancel the cs rep was quick, professional and didn't try to sell me anything when I stated I only needed the one form.

I signed up for this service to get a couple forms just like everyone else did. The first month for a dollar 99. At the end of the first month if I didn't contact them or cancel they would sign me for the year contract for a little over $70 in which on the 30th day just like promised they signed me up. I called and canceled thankfully I cought it on my bank statement and Lynn took it off my account as promised. I was a little worried at first with the over 300 negative comments of this happening to other people who didn't take actions for their responsibilities. And now has a year subscription to form swift. Haha don't let negligence on your part reflect on their company! Grow up America

Needing legal documents for some personal and business matters, I can't explain how wonderful Formswift was. Now mind you to get a normal lawyer would have cost me a couple of hundred dollars due to the timeframe i needed this done. So being tight on money I did search for a free document. Many people say it is a bait and switch when it is free, but you are offered a trial period, but think about it, a free trial vs a lawyer. I will take the trial even if it requires my card, all you have to do is cancel within 7 days and no charges. Simple, but for the rate of 40 a mnth, that is cheaper than a lawyer for on call documents (as long as they are available). The conversion services are great. Give it a try, and if you have any problems, just contact customer service, they will get right on it.

In June, I used their service one time through a free trial to combine pages in a document, later realizing that it was easier to do this through the Adobe Acrobat reader software directly. Well, while looking through my July credit card bill, I found a charge from them for $100! I quickly canceled my subscription from my account on their website. Apparently, I'd accidentally signed up for their annual subscription. In the cancellation email, it stated that if I had any extra charges, I could email them or call them, and gave me the necessary information. I emailed them, and within a few hours they emailed back saying that they were issuing a full refund! It included instructions on what to do to follow up if necessary, and let me know that the refund should be issued within 5 business days. If something changes and I do not receive a refund within the next 5 business days as promised, I will update this review.
UPDATE: They refunded $90 of my $100. Considering the service charges that were likely involved, that's good 'nough for me!:-)

Did a "whois" check before looking at it--this outfit is owned by Amazon. They of all the vile things on earth don't need *morehighly personal information about people.

Good luck getting them to cancel the auto deduction from you account and answering your calls. I'll be on the phone with my credit union to unFC my relationship with this garbage

They advertise a completely free service that will allow you to download your document. This is not the case - in order to download any document you need to pay them. This is a deceptive business practice.

Their software is terrible. When I proofed my document, I found that the form did not fill properly. The zip code appeared where the state should have been. I gave up after trying to edit after several tries.

I agreed to a $1.95 payment for a form. Then my credit card statement arrived with an additional $33.00 charged. This company has a reputation for slipping in a agreement to charged a monthly fee for there service. I didn't see any such statement. I will contest this charge. All beware.

The business plan template does a poor job of exporting to a word doc. Also the business plan pdf removed capitalization. The default sentences don't make any sense when added to in front of your answers. Not worth the $89 I paid. No option for a refund. I cancelled my subscription the same day.

FormSwift claims that their service of filling out a form (e.g. bylaws) is free, but when one actually tries to view the resulting document it is either a $59 one-time free or a recurring fee which, by all accounts, is exceedingly difficult to cancel. How they have a B+ on the Complaintsboard.com is beyond me. Stay away!

I am very upset because i used your service that stated 30 day trial for 1.97 and i have been billed on both of my emails every month for 60 dollars . the website u have and offered is very misleading and unprofessional and scammed me out of a lot of money because i never authorized these payments to be taken off my card.

Suspicious company--beware of signing documents online with this or any company...read the fine print. Not sure how I signed up with this company, but just noticed the charges months later on our credit card. Called today and they said I canceled the subscription 2 months later which I didn't. Hoping they will give me a full refund for this. Buyer beware!

Bait and switch. They claim to offer free 1099 filing "bait". After you already spent time entering your info they require an email address. Once they have your email address, they "switch" and only then share the real pricing policy which requires a perpetual paid membership after a 7 day "free" trial period. While it may not technically be lie, it is 100% dishonest and intentionally misleading.

Offers free converter for pdf documebt to word, but it is an openly fraudulent scam. After fooling you into uploading your document any attempt to complete the file conversion offered leads you to a bunch of spare changing to sign up for different services with no way of completing the process. Steals your data and attempts to steal your money by way of outright fraudulent claims and misrepresentation.

Disappointed that it said free. Spent time filling out information to find out it was not free. Not to mention a monthly charge would be included. This was totally misleading and misrepresented. All of my information was submitted and now I feel foolish for trying to do the right thing. Since this was misrepresented and its hard to trust putting private information out, I did not get what I thought based on false advertising. Unfortunate!

They advertised a free IRS 1099 form and said all I had to do was answer a few questions and download the form and print. I answered the questions but they then wanted $1.95 for a one time use which I agree to. Then I filled out the 1099 form and printed it. The form says its just a 1099 information form and warned you cannot submit it to the IRS or you will be charged penalties. I looked up the IRS regs and you can only submit a 1099 form to the IRS that you order from the IRS. FormSwift's 1099 information form is worthless so selling it as if it was the real IRS 1099 form is a scam. Worse, I only agreed to pay $1.95 but FormSwift charged my credit card $39.95. I disputed the charge today with my credit card company which gave me a $39.95 credit it says is permanent. Be sure to immediately dispute with your bank or credit card company any unauthorized charges FormSwift puts on your credit or bank card. One of the best things about using a credit card for purchases is the bank or credit card company's guarantee that you are not responsible for fraudulent charges. If another charge from them appears on my card, I'll dispute it again and get my money back, file a complaint with the attorney general of my state, and post a complaint on a dozen or so complaint websites.

I was in need of a Power of Attorney form. I went on internet to find a free form. As I have used these type form prior, without fees or problems. I found one company that had what I wanted and the quality I was looking for. They came up with fees, and being on fixed income, the cost was to great. But another company popped up that offered free form and free account. I thought that was a good one to try. I attempted to use their service, but at some point, they said they needed a credit card to proceed, I looked at what it said and it stated for $1.95 for 7 days then I could upload form and download a printable form. Well I needed form so I gave credit card info. But I was not able to get form completed as to what I was looking for. I never uploaded a form and I assumed that they would not charge my credit card as I did not upload to their service a printable form. When I run across one of these scam companies, I try and make certain I cancel what ever they are trying to do to get into my wallet. It’s been a long time but I do remember that I did not even thing I would be charged as I was not even able to use their service, It was skipping pages and if I tried to go back to fix this it would erase what I had done in page went back from, even if I tried to save it. But I’m older 71 I got tired, and really did not think about till look at charges by chance, and saw they had charging me for at least 7 month’ without any notification they were charging me. Upon my realizing I had been caught in a scam, although legal is still lacking ethics. Taking advantage of someone, this should be a punishable crime. I also went back into their scam program, to see if I could get anything out of the over $250.00 they charged for what they call free, with free account. I had told them to stop charging me, but I was still paid ahead for a month on their service, when I tried use it to make something for my losses, Only for them to shut down program again and demand more money .decard

Signed up for free trial tried to cancel was charged anyway. Called first time withing 8 hrs of charge no help.

Called again my account was cancelled so it wouldn't be re-billed again the next time it was due according to their customer service rep. Asked where it showed a receipt what I was charged for was told she's telling me on the phone.

Had to insist on an actual receipt /invoice. Then noticed, while I still had no refund and they had my 96$ for something I didnt want, they locked my account. So account is unuseable and refund hasn't been issued and had the nerve to show on website i could pay $25 to unlock my account that I paid $96 for that they wont refund.

So they took $96 from me wont refund, locked an account and kept my money

I never signed up for formswift. My ex must've used a Gmail which is attached to my debit card. On 9/01/23 there was a charge on my account for 16.95$ I am going through renal failure and when I try to get customer support there is none! No way to cancel anything or look anything up! Formswift.com/charge [protected] ca 9/1/23 16.95$ to card ending in 9916. The only emails I can think of are the [protected]@gmail.com or the [protected]@gmail.com or [protected]@gmail.com this needs to be fixed asap.

On March 09, I paid $1.95 to purchase a business plan template and since then, I was being charged $29.95 every single month up until today for something I had never signed up for. The website never said anything about paying $29.95 every month. If that was the case, I would have never paid $1.95 for a business plan that was going to cost me that much per month. They are very sneaky. Stay away from this business!

I tried to use this website to update my resume and cut an empty page off of it. I created an account and signed up for the 30 day trial only to be told the owner of the website BANNED me from accessing anything. I messaged customer service to delete my card information and delete my account/trial. I am pretty sure my identity is being stolen. I just needed a resume update and these people scammed me. Absolutely disgusting

I canceled my membership about a year ago and my account was charged for the yearly membership today. I immediately went to look for an email confirmation that I had canceled my membership, but they do not send one and force costumers to rely on their record of membership. They stored my billing information for almost a year after I canceled my membership and charged my account. The charge needs to be removed as does my billing information.

I signed up for a free trial and I have attempted to cancel many times but I keep getting an error message to every button pushed including the sign in as well as contact us. Now they have been attempting to charge me repeatedly for their monthly fee. This company is fraudulent and is actively attempting to steal. Which is sad because I would have actually considered joining at a later date. I wish to cancel immediately and have my information removed from their system!

Website clearly advertises as a "FREE" service. On *** it comes up as "Free Guardianship form online Quality forms for your needs. On their page, under "how it works" it says you can create, save, download, print and share forms as well as sign and make it official.After entering all my personal and legal information, it creates the document and then puts it behind a pay wall. This is clearly deceptive, and I imagine would violate the terms of being a member business.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They will NOT let you cancel your free trial because there will be constant website errors that stop you from doing so, OR they will show you that your account is not active and still charge you repeatedly. My bank declined this transaction numerous times and each time I checked to make sure this account was NOT active. Tonight (1/4) I was not so lucky and they charged me $72 that they were NOT authorized to take. I am incredibly frustrated with this scam of a company.

On march 16th I started a free trial with the company FormSwift. There is an upcoming fee of $72 after the month ends. I am trying to cancel my subscription as I do not want to continue using their website and do not want to be charged. No matter how I try to get to their website, (links from their emails, *** searches, typing the web address into bar) an error page comes up and will not allow me in to the site. There is no way for me to cancel my subscription and I think I'm being scammed.

I have never utilized services from Formswift. There has been a $33.00 per month charge on my business debit card since April . I assumed that it was something that my team was using to do with filing insurance claims for patients. It turns out that no one on my team knew anything about it. I have since cancelled the card and been issued a new one. I won't be receiving any more charges, however I wished to file this complaint as no one here signed up for this service and yet we were charged monthly. Thank you

On September 22 I downloaded a form from Formswift for $1.95, believing it was a one time transaction. During my financial audit this month I noticed there was a recurring charge on my credit card from formswift. I dont get paper statements so I had not noticed. As I looked back they had been charging me $ *** per month since October . I wouldnt have signed up for a recurring, overpriced service that I used one time. I demand a complete refund of $462.00. I want it credited back to the original card that theyve been charging.

On 1/20/2022, I signed up for a free trial with formswift.com to edit some pdfs. I was charged $1 to sign up for the free trial. It was advertised on their website as free and no charges would be made until 30 days and I would have the chance to cancel. This is completely unacceptable and is false advertisement. When I tried to contact the company to resolve the issue. There was no way to contact them. There is an email address for support on their website, but when I tried to send an email I was told the address I was sending it to was invalid.

On January 5 2022, I paid $1.97 for 7 days to use their site to print forms. On January 12th, 2022, I was charged through my bank account and additional $37. There was no trial agreement made, or cancellation needed, as I purchased for 7 days. I have called them three times, they do not answer their phone, however, they prompt you to leave a message, which I left several. I have had no return calls from FormSwift at all. Rather than going through my bank and charging through fraud, I would like to resolve this by having forms with return the money to my account.

I needed to submit a letter of recommendation to help a coworker get a job as he transitioned out of the Army. I used the website formswift.com on April 7 that indicated it would cost $1.95. However the company proceeded to charge me $29.95 a month from April until I called and spoke with them in February . When I called they informed me that I authorized them to charge my credit card after the trial period ended. I explained I saw no such language, I did not authorize this charge and that I received no services from their company since the initial letter for which I paid $1.95 in April .

I signed up for 7 day access to write up a warranty deed document. I did understand if I didnt stop the 7 day free trial. It would automatically charge me 33$ BUT when I I attempted to cancel the account subscription and I tried to contact FormSwift I was not allowed to cancel. Now after the 33$ charge I try to cancel again on 10/22 after the charge appeared on my bank account the phone number on the bank charge is a bogus number ***) Now when I try to contact FormSwift online and my account I only receive an error page and have received no response from FormSwift.I read the reviews this obviously has been an issue with this company.

I created an account with form swift to sign some medical documents. I cancelled my seven day free trial immediately, and thought that whats done is done. Today I look on my account and see that there are two charges from form swift for *** each, which is ultimately no big problem. I called the customer service line, only to find that I signed up with form swift under a totally different card altogether and have no idea how form swift got my credit card information when I didn't put it onto my account. I do not really care about the money, as long as it doesn't happen again, but I really need answers in order to make sure that I am not getting fraudulent charged.

On January 29 i downloaded a *** form from FormSwift and was charged $1.95. Recently I was checking my personal debit records and noticed a charge of $29.95, In fact we went back to Feb 2021 and checked each month, sure enough, they had been charging me each month for the last 23 months ! i do not get paper statements, and the charge was not on my business acct so went unseen. I never received any statements emails , nothing . I have never used any services at all from FormSwift since the $1.95 one time charge. I would never sign up for a overpriced monthly service I only needed once. Wow, $688.88 for one *** form ! am demanding a complete refund of $688.88 to my debit card. should be the same card number.

When purchasing a home, I was asked to access a document using FormSwift for a fee of $1.95. I did not realize that by accessing this document and paying the one-time fee, FormSwift also registered me for an auto-renewal service for which I was charged $29.95 per month. When I finally caught the charges five months later and reached out to the company, they pointed to their Terms of Service as if this justifies that kind of predatory behavior. This company's business model intentionally preys on people in time-sensitive, high-stress situations, like purchasing a home or managing a loved one's will -- experiences that require a large amount of paperwork so it's easier to sneak in auto-renewal charges in fine print.
