Environmental Damage
A Flood Brothers garbage truck pulled up behind my garage and dumped an outrageous amount of pollution. It billowed out for nearly 10 mins straight before the truck moved on. Living in this city for 15 years, i have never seen such a thing. My dog, who has health concerns, had to be brought in immediately as the air outside turned thick with black smoke and has made it incredible difficult for her, and myself, to breathe. What’s worse is that this company claims to be environmentally driven - and as someone who works at an environmental organization, I can assure you that pouring black toxic smoke into the atmosphere is not environmentally friendly.
Desired outcome: Explanation as to why this company willingly dumps pollution in residential (and public) spaces endangering the very community who funds the company, and how that aligns with protecting the atmosphere.

My trash is REPEATEDLY not picked up. I pay for trash removal services regularly and my trash should be disposed of WEEKLY AND it is not. I've complained to the company and they never have an explanation nor do they try to rectify the issue or compensate me. My trash is always overflowing.

Flood Brothers Disposal has not picked up the trash for our condo building since Monday February 15. Numerous owners have called and the company promised everyone that the trash would be picked up within 24 hours. Owners have called consecutively for an entire business week and company keeps promising that the trash will be picked up. Also, the company pulls the dumpsters from our private lot into the alley during the snow season. Because of this the overflowing trash is now over the entire alley.

Flood brothers leaves their dumpster on wheels on uneven ground with no stoppers or anything to secure it in place. It rolled into the side of my parked car, severely denting it and scraping it. This is not the first time it has happened, I've seen the same dumpster smashed up against the side of my neighbor's car as well. I contacted flood brothers via email with pictures of the dumpster against the side of my car and the damage it caused, at two of their listed email addresses. I sent the emails almost two weeks ago, on 12/31 and so far they have ignored them/not replied.

Flood Brothers Disposal has not picked up the trash for our condo building since Monday May 24. Prior to that, we waited over a week for a pick up. We pay for trash pick up service to occur two days a week (Monday and Thursday). Numerous owners have called and the company promised everyone that the trash would be picked up. Owners have called consecutively for an entire business week and company keeps promising that the trash will be picked up. Because of there inability to meet our contractual terms, overflowing trash is now occurring in our trash area. This a common problem with Flood Brothers.

Our 6 unit condo association contracts with Flood Brothers for dumpster service on Tuesdays and recycling on Wednesdays. We had a similar issue last year and this year for the past 3 months our service is not regular. For 3 weeks no service was received than the remain weeks just one or the others, dumpster or recycling. I call and call and a manager, Mr Flood, is never available. We are paying for a service and not receiving the service. How is this legal? Today I asked to speak with Mr Flood and was told he is very busy. I cannot just request to speak with him. I said, I have been expecting a call for 3 months and never received it. I was transferred again to his email. Extremely poor service and horrible customer service. I have been asking for a credit for almost 3 months. We have a camera on our dumpster and recycling bin. They keep saying the gps shows they picked up my garbage. Clearly they are not telling the truth. We have cameras. Please help

We are a condo building that abuts the Buffalo Grove Town Cente And Walgreens r. The Village of Buffalo Grove has a noise ordinance of no waste collection until after 7AM weekdays and 8AM Weekends. There are several pick ups made before this time at the center. One being Walgreens located at 25 N Buffalo Grove Road in Buffalo Grove. We have called and asked them several times to move the pickup time to after 7AM. We have informed them that the police will cite the driver if caught. The unloading these dumpster are quite noisy and wake up several of our residences., That is why the village has an ordinance. We have called Flood Bros several times and we we were told that it would be remedied. It has been until 2 weeks ago. We ask that the company put policies and procedures in place for all Buffalo Grove customers adhering to the Village Ordinance. the Village has also called and Flood Bros drivers continue to come before 7 AM. We asking this to be remedied. Our calls them are not rtnd

I ordered 3 garbage pickups per week
I ordered 3 garbage pickups per week. Unfortunately, in many times they only pick up once per week. For the most recent instance in Feb. to April, I had to call almost 1-2 times per week just to make sure they at least come to pick up once a week. Due to they missed pickups frequently, there could be overflows.They would never provide credit if they missed pickups, but they then will post overflow charge to my account. I had an evidence showing they added overflow charges for overflows due to their missed pickups. I called for multiple times to request them to remove the charge or provide me with the evidence that they provided the service prior to the overflow date. Over 3 months, I kept called. They keep saying they'll investigate and call me back, but never ever responded me. They suddenly stopped service this week, without any further notification. I need them to resume the service and remove the overflow charge due to their fault. I urge them to prove services as what I paid for.

On 4/21 my garbage was not picked up. I contacted Flood Brothers regarding it and was told that my bill was past due $19.73. I explained that they had charged me extra in September and I called in to resolve that on September 5. I was charged for additional items in my garbage that were not my items, in which I explained to the representative in September. I was told they would contact me back if there was any reason it would not be resolved. I was never contacted again. From September to April there were no issues, however on April 20th they stopped picking up my garbage. When I asked about it they said it was their policy to stop service if the account was 90 days overdue. I explained it was not my items and it had been resolved in September. I asked how to cancel my service. They threatened that I couldn't because I was part of Carol Stream and they are required to service my address. I explained I would contact the Village of Carol Stream to explain that I have paid my bills and just refuse to pay the additional amount. They told me they would send me a picture via email of the items from September. At this time I have not received the picture.

This is my complaint because I feel like this *** Brothers and Patrick *** are unethical in their business practices and should be looked into by the appropriate authorities for their business practices. I am the owner of a small business in the City of Chicago. I never signed any agreement with *** Brothers or their representative Chris ***. I requested a copy of the contract agreement several times that Patrick claims I'm locked into. I have had to call several times to request the contract since they were stalling. When I finally received the contract there were two major issues. Chris *** with *** Brothers never executed the contract and he met with a lower level person at my company who is not authorized to sign anything. The contract is also for a 5 year term with automatic renewal which in Illinois is not allowed however they still put it into their contract. I would never agree to any terms like these. This is a non binding contract because I never reviewed the contract, never saw it till last week, or signed off on it. I would also like to mention that dealing with customer service at *** Brothers and Patrick *** are probably the worst I've ever dealt with in my 19 years in business. You have to call *** Brothers several times and they put you on the phone with different people. No one calls you back until you've called about 7 times. They put you on hold and even hang up on you. The customer service manager Patrick *** is very arrogant, talks over you, and is very unprofessional.
