Horrible and incompetent customer service
How many times does it take for a service person to fix the refrigerator ice maker? After 6+ visits and multiple parts ordered, Flamingo Appliance has yet to fix our ice maker.
Customer service managers refuse to speak to us when we call to complain. It is unacceptable that it takes more than 2 months and 6+ visits to our house to resolve this issue and extremely inconvenient and disruptive every time the repairman come to the house and don’t fix the problem or forget to do something while they are here.
Recommendation: Awful service, incompetent service repairmen, unresponsive management. Shameful and unacceptable.

Service person was prompt, clean, and polite. However the repair was ineffective. The refrigerator quit ten minutes after he left my residence. Would NOT recommend Flamingo Repair under any circumstance. $134.rip off.

Stay away from this company
Stay away from this company. The only good thing about this company is the technician whos name is Josh. Everything else is not good. It took 4 weeks to repair a microwave. I called and ask to cancel the service and refund the $165 I advanced and they said no. The supervisor was also rude.

My whirlpool refrigerator was rattling and not making ice. We called Flamingo Appliance Service because they delivered the refrigerator we had purchased from Costco in 2015. A technician was scheduled to come on Monday between 8:00-10:00 to fix my Whirlpool refrigerator. Instead the technician, *** called and asked about the problems the refrigerator was experiencing. After my wife explained, he stated that he knew what the problem was and that he was going to order the parts. *** proceeded to tell us that the refrigerator needed several parts. He began to quote prices on the parts and said he was going to help us get the best deal. He never came to the house on Monday.
Thursday morning, *** came to fix the refrigerator. It took him approximately 30 minutes to finish. He did not even replace all the screws back on the refrigerator. The part *** replaced was a Motor-Evap WXXXXXXXX. That was it! He charged us $780.83. According to the invoice. The Motor-Evaporator was 189.70. The cost of labor was $469.00 and an "Other" charge of $75.00. I called Flamingo Appliance Service to complain about the service charge and the "Other" charge. *** explained that her supervisors said there was nothing they could do about the service charge. Then they proceeded to explain that the "Other" charge for $75.00 was because when the technician came on Monday, we did not commit to having the service done at that moment.
If we did not commit, then why was the part ordered and the appointment made? This is highway robbery!
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. They cancelled on me 2 times last minute and lied to me the 1st time. Missed work 2 times. Called to see if they would comp the service fee due to me missing work. Didn't even consider a discount. Flat out no and hung up. Wouldn't use them if I was being paid. There's plenty of other places I would look elsewhere

Gee, reading some of these below it sounds pretty disheartening. My issue was easier. The tech just re-programmed my washer and it is now working fine. They were excellent in my estimation. My service tech was very good, knew exactly what was wrong. Their communications system was the best I've ever used... it actually worked... I got return phone calls, he showed up right on the time he said he would. I would say I was lucky enough to have a great experience with Flamingo.

Let me start by stating that the service tech was outstanding. He was very professional, respectful, and on time.
The office staff on the other hand are the complete opposite of him. I was given the quote to repair my refrigerator and I paid. Parts were ordered and the tech came back out within a week. He ended up not needing a couple parts and gave me an updated invoice with the correct amount and said the office would be processing the refund. that was 4/14. It is not 6/9 and I have called multiple times about this refund and was told a ticket would be opened. I have now paid 2 months of credit card interest on the refund amount and the "claims" department, Ashley, does not return phone calls. I have been on hold for an hour and a half and have yet to be transferred to any supervisor who can help me at all. DO NOT TRUST FLAMINGO FOR YOUR REPAIR NEEDS!

My wife and I are both retired Army and both veteran disabled so obviously we save where we can that includes buying used second hand appliances. We have no problem with a service call charge, when service is performed, but to charge anyone any fee to walk in tell the customer we know what is wrong but we won't work on it because then we would be responsible sorry and that's $150 thanks have a nice day. I have been without an oven for almost 7 weeks!
I have been without an oven for almost 7 weeks! My first appointment was scheduled on June 12; someone came out and was paid $135 by me to diagnose the problem. I showed him how the Bake feature of my oven did not work and he ordered a part.
Another period of time went by until that part was in and an appointment was scheduled for July 10. A second person came out and I showed him how the Bake function did not work. I rarely use the Broil function so I did not even mention that, as I hadn't noticed it wasn't working. After pulling the oven out from the wall, removing the back panel, etc. he told me that the ordered part was incorrect.
Yet another appointment for July 17 was made, for the hopefully correct part to be installed.
The technician came out again on July 17 and spent a lot of time trying to remove the old part. He was finally successful and then installed the new part. However, when we tested the oven only the Broil function worked, not the Bake function. He told me that an additional part needed to be ordered for the Bake function - the function which had been my only complaint since the beginning.
My next appointment - and hopefully my final one with Flamingo, is scheduled for July 23. I have been offered the two parts at cost but I do not think this begins to make up for the extreme inconvenience and the complete inadequacy of the service I have received.
This has been the repair experience from *** and I will never use Flamingo again.

We purchased a home through Pulte and closed in February. House came with appliances that were not a choice. The microwave will not start at times, it shuts off in the middle of cooking, it's a lot of work and effort to make it work. I have videos. Brand new unit. They have scheduled multiple appointments to fix the problem. I have been very patient and even waited for parts to be ordered and received. I called immediately last week when I got notified to replace the parts. Representative who was supposed to just change the parts was disrespectful from the beginning did not want to replace the parts that were ordered and lied about the interaction at my house. Now they are saying there is nothing wrong with the microwave and that it is normal for the microwave to shut off after 15 minutes. I've had microwaves all my life and this is not normal. I called Whirlpool directly and they agreed with me. They are sending another service company but Flamingo should be investigated.
