I learned after my experience that Empire Models NY is the same as West 38, Apex Studios and MAPS Models. They charge $5,000 for pictures when we are told it is only $50.

hahahahahaha JUSTIN IS A JOKE DO NOT LISTEN TO ANY OF HIS ### HE IS SOOOOO UNPROFESSIONAL and SLIMEY--- he will try to hit on every girl that he works for...dont think he's gay, i know he looks and acts gay but he's not--very sleezy he dates 15 year old models who really dont have much of a career, he tells them they have a chance so he can get them in bed... do not believe a word stated above...he is not to be trusted if you want to be a model you should only sign with the big agencies like Ford, Elite, etc. and never put up a single dollar. Empire Models is a ### agency who isn't anywhere near the top of the industry he has no connections what so ever besides hes loser club promoting friends

I was 12 years old when he took nude photos of me and told me my career was over if I didn't sleep with him. Told me not to tell my parents. At that age I was scared. The entire model apartment was sleeping with him. We had a room full of bunk beds, there was a room for photo shoots in between, and then his bedroom/slash office that girls were in and out of. I called my mom and only had enough courage to tell her that he was flirting with everyone and I felt uncomfortable, she asked to speak to him. After she did, he yelled at me, I was not allowed to go on the go see all of the other girls went on the following day, and I got no more jobs after that. My mother wouldn't let me model for him anymore when he sent home a portfolio of photos of me in my underwear and a tank top. Throughout the photo shoot, he kept pinching my nipples to keep them hard during the shoot, which I also thought very strange. My mother took me to his parents house after fighting the fact that he ripped them off and she didn't pay 8-900 dollars for a photo shoot in my underwear at 12 years old and made it clear she wanted new photos and we were done, so as his 15 year old girlfriend at the time did my makeup, we all knew each other through IMTA, we (just him and I) then walked down a big hill by a lake semi near his parents house. Soon after shooting, he had me sit on a picnic table, he asked me to take off the bottoms I was wearing and spread my legs. He then asked me to spread my personal parts for the photos. I was 12 years old... I still to this day at 24 years old never know what he did with those photos, live with this daunting secret, and an traumatized. I hope this post can stop someone else from signing. I have to live with what happened to me for the rest of my life. Don't send your daughters to this man.

I do in fact encourage everyone to contact the AG offices of New York and ask them if there are ANY complaints or any type of legal issues regarding Empire Model Management. I have spoken to the AG office myself and was well informed on just how ignorant the person posting this information really is. I also encourage you to contact EACH FOX NEWS, CBS, and ABC networks to also find out that Empire Model Management, Inc. nor Justin Peery has never been on any of those networks as a scam at all. This is merely an attempt to discredit the hard work that I do. I don't even know what e-model is. I know that the author of this post is Erin Marie - A very unhappy model that is on a posting rampage trying to destroy what I am determined to build as a reputable company in this business. Read below. She can change her name and create as many fake accounts as she wants to. However there is always legal procedures the will expose and author on any site that states any slander or potentially negative information about a company or person.

I admire those of you that are reading this message. It means that you are researching and verifying the company that you are possibly getting ready to work with. It means that you have a true interest in your choice to be a part of a very cut throat industry and that you want to make the right decision concerning your career. Knowledge is power and by researching you educate yourself so that you do not act in ignorance. There are many model management companies that cover and do many different things in the industry. Since the beginning it has been our goal to open the doors of the model industry to the few that actually have what it takes to make it. Unfortunately for Empire Model Management and many other top agencies we sometimes select models that are not up to par. There are many different reasons that a model may not succeed in the business. It may be anything from a bad attitude, not showing up for casting or work, being difficult to work with or just not having the right look. Each model is a very unique individual and Empire Model Management tries to build a foundation for beginning a long-term career in the modeling business. One model will never be able to look at another models career and judge how their career will go. Sometimes it does not work out between an agency and model. Every agency in operation has seen this happen to them and sometimes it ends very good and then there are times that it ends badly. I am sure that no one recalls when a model agency post potentially negative material on a model but I am also sure that there are thousands of post out there from models about how bad an agency is. How do you know what to believe? Good question! Go with the facts! Most of the time the work that the agency does speaks for its self. Clearly most any one can look at a website of a model management company and tell if it going in the right direction. You can tell by the quality of models that the agency represents, the caliber of work the models are doing, how the models progress and also the length in time from which most of the models are with the agency.
I would like to present all of the facts regarding the following model Erin Marie that was in fact a model under an exclusive contract with Empire Model Management. We will show below several pieces of evidence that shows Empire was more than capable in representing her to her highest potential. Models have to show up to castings and to actual jobs in order to be successful. Erin Marie failed at this task on several occasions with several different agencies.
Erin Marie Stated “he gets you ### jobs”
Empire Model Management booked Erin Marie for some of the biggest names in the business, again when she showed up!
-Stella Mc Cartney
-Vasaline National Campaign
To name a few.

Erin Marie Stated “he sent me to South Korea in January of 2009 to this ### hole apartment-i came home after 2 days and had to pay back the Korean agency for there plane ticket”
-This was the first trip that Erin Marie went to Korea for a modeling contract. The following emails clearly show that the problem was not the apartment. Oldest email starts at the bottom of this strand.

hey justin.. Im in Korea- and I have to be completely honest. I am pretty
miserable.. I dont have a cell phone, there isn't any outlets to plug in my
laptop so I can talk to my family and the guy who picked me up Ralph wasn't much
help.
I hate to be a baby- but this really sucks-the living situation is a whole
other story...but thats my last problem because I expected it. There isn't even
a shower.
I truthfully cannot picture staying here for 2 months...please get back to me
asap about what my possibilities are because I dont think I can do this
- Erin Marie

After the first trip a few months had passed and Erin Marie wanted to go back to this “Awful Place South Korea” to model. Emails below show her stating that she wanted to go back. She also came into the agency and did an Oscar nominating performance of how well she would do on this trip.

if we can rescheduele meeting to thursday or friday that would work better. I am going to work for my mom for the next 2 days on some big project she needs extra help with.
I know you'd like to discuss my dedication to modeling and how serious I am and I would like to apologize for the past couple of months I have just had a really crazy year. Ive had too many car accidents to count
and with my friend recently passing away I know it has effected work and I am sorry for that.
I truly do want to work though and I really want to take my modeling career as far as I can possibly go.
I would like to be in the city every day this week but I need the cash which my mom gives me at the end of the day- so Im going to work for her the next 2 days.

Erin Marie states “Vaseline- the client pays the agency first and then your agent is supposed to pay you..so he owed me around $1600”
Here is the billing info for the Vaseline job. Erin Marie’s Math is off. Per the billing info and per the terms of our contract Erin Marie would take home $1000 after the agency takes its 20% Commission. For the new models out there this is how agencies make money. Model agencies charge the client a 20% and the model a 20% commission. Now you know.

Model agencies often give models cash advances, pay for the models comp cards, marketing materials, test shoots, portfolios, and much more. It is never a gift. The model is responsible to pay back the agency for the money that is fronted for them. Nothing is free in any business. Luckily for Empire Model Management we have an accountant that tracks each transaction for each model. That way there are no questions.
Erin Marie did not take into account all of her expenses and cash advances that Empire Model Management had given to her. She did not calculate her expenses against her income. She made enough to cover her expenses and actually over the course of her contract took home money. When she asked us to pay her plane ticket from Korea we refused based upon our previous experience with her not showing up to jobs or castings. We knew that we would never see the money again. Her account would have been negative meaning she would have owed us the money back. She was a risk that we were not willing to take. She is a mad disgruntled model. Below is another email showing that she is nothing but unreliable. This is an agency that we placed her with on the west coast and had many amazing opportunities for Erin Marie that she just didn’t show up for. We are modeling management companies, and we want models that want to work! Names and addresses have been removed to protect privacy of the agency.

Hi Erin,

I hope this email finds you well.

Both myself and other agents have been trying to reach since you have returned from Asia and had no response.

At this point, we feel that it has been extremely difficult to get a hold of you when we have possible opportunities for you. For this reason, we feel that our representation of you in the San Francisco/Bay Area will need to be terminated.

As of February 1, 2010 you are free to seek representation with another agency in this market. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

Best,

I hope that this information will be of some help to you that are reading and researching about this company and this business. We gladly welcome anyone who questions Empire Model Management, Inc. to come and visit that agency located in New York City. We assure you that you quickly will learn the true facts of how hard we work on each model. Quality over Quantity is our approach.
My name is Justin D. Peery and I am the acting CEO of Empire Model Management, Inc. I am answering these negative comments by this model because I personally have a care about what is being said about my establishment. Some people find it odd for an Executive to stand up and take action but if this happened more then the public would be more informed on what is going on.

Here is what the industry has to say about Justin Perry and Empire Model Management -

Justin Perry is a criminal a liar and a cheat - he is the slime that is everything that is wrong with this Industry
If you were scammed by Justin Perry here is what you can do - contact the AG at the offices below - if we all work together we can see this Virginia crook in jail - he learned how to scam from Barbizon modeling and Jeff Cohen of Emodel Scam fame. Stay far far away from this carpet bagger. His illegal agency has been on Fox news / cbs and abc exposed as a scam. Ask him if he worked for emodel. Google emodel scam and read about his last company. He changes names all the time so be careful.
