eChineseLearning: Empowering Language Learners to Conquer Mandarin with Ease
I owe my incredible journey of learning Mandarin to a friend's recommendation of eChineseLearning. Initially, I was a bit hesitant, wondering if I could really commit to learning a new language. So, I decided to start with just a 3-month course. Little did I know that this choice would lead to an exciting two-year adventure.
What's fascinating is that learning Mandarin turned out to be far more engaging and less daunting than I had imagined.
I now have three Mandarin lessons every week. I can genuinely feel myself making progress, and that's incredibly satisfying.
I've had the privilege of learning from three different teachers during my time with eChineseLearning, and they've all been exceptionally professional and skilled at guiding students with no prior experience. Their patience and expertise have made me feel at ease, and I've never felt overwhelmed.
eChineseLearning's 'no-charge' policy for unsatisfactory lessons is a testament to their commitment to student success, and it's a reassurance that I've greatly appreciated.
Recommendation: Ignite Your Passion for Mandarin and Embark on an Adventure of Language Mastery"
my chinese language learning experience
I've always been fascinated by Chinese culture, and this interest led me to explore Mandarin.
The one thing that pleasantly surprised me about eChineseLearning is their commitment to student success. I've had a few lessons that I initially found challenging, but their 'no-charge' policy made all the difference. Knowing that I could get additional help or even a free redo of a lesson made me feel supported throughout my learning journey.
The flexibility in scheduling lessons is a huge advantage. I can adjust my learning to fit my busy schedule.
Thanks to eChineseLearning, I can now not only have meaningful conversations but also read and write in Chinese.
Recommendation: The teachers here are very experienced and I love the teachers here, I highly recommend it.
eChineseLearning Review: Convenient and Effective Way to Learn Chinese Online with Skilled Teachers
Studying Chinese can be a real challenge, especially when you're a busy mom like me. With a full-time job and kids to take care of, it's hard to find the time to attend classes or meet with a tutor in person. That's why I was so excited to discover eChineseLearning - an online platform that offers Skype classes with teachers based in China.
I have to say, I was a bit skeptical at first. I wasn't sure how effective online classes would be, or whether I'd be able to keep up with the pace of learning. But I was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked for me. I can attend classes from the comfort of my own couch, and the teachers are always so friendly and patient.
What's really great about eChineseLearning is that my daughter can join in on the classes too. She's learning Chinese at school, but the curriculum is quite slow and they only cover a little bit each day. With our private classes, we're able to learn at a much faster pace and practice together. It's been a lot of fun, and my daughter's grades have really improved as a result.
In fact, we've been so happy with eChineseLearning that we've even signed up for their summer programs. These are a fantastic way to keep up with our studies during the summer months, and my daughter has learned so much from them.
Overall, I would definitely recommend eChineseLearning to anyone who's looking for a convenient and effective way to learn Chinese. The teachers are fantastic, the classes are fun, and it's a great way to bond with your family over a shared interest. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed!
Online Mandarin Course Review: How Echineselearning Helped Me Prepare for Study Abroad in China
I'm 21 years old and I've set myself a goal to learn either Arabic or Mandarin Chinese. After a month or two of considering the two languages, I decided to go with Mandarin, as I find that China would be a better place to live and work than the Middle East.
I was excited to sign up for a study abroad program in Chongqing with my university. However, I had six months before I flew off to China, and I was nervous about my lack of Mandarin skills. I picked up a few Mandarin books and tried to learn a bit of Chinese through them, but I had no idea what I was doing. I even watched some Mandarin movies with subtitles, but it didn't help much.
I decided to hire a tutor here in Chicago, and she was good! However, at $40 per hour, it was too much for my college wallet. That's when I heard about online Chinese Mandarin courses. I found echineselearning, and I was impressed with their qualified teachers and the fact that we could have face-to-face lessons almost like she was here in Chicago with me. The best part was that I could set my own schedule!
I've been taking lessons with echineselearning for the past two months, and my progress has been so inspiring! I feel more confident in my Mandarin skills every day, and I know that I will have a huge head start when I reach China in four months.
I can't wait to see how much more I can learn before I leave. Thanks, ECL!
Review: eChineseLearning - Flexible Chinese Classes with Patient Teachers and Excellent Customer Service
I've always been interested in Chinese culture and dreamed of visiting China as a child. When I got to college, I never actually tried to learn the language and went for a major that steered me away from learning languages. After I graduated, I decided I would make my childhood dream come true and visit China. A week became a month, and I surprised myself and my family by deciding to stay in China for a year and work as an English teacher. At this point, I had only picked up a couple of phrases and found that I had a lot of difficulty getting around and needed help doing everything when it came to getting an apartment, etc. I felt a little bit like a baby again and wanted my independence.
I did some research and decided to give eChineseLearning a go. I liked the idea of flexible classes. A couple of months in, I really started to pick up the language, and by the end of my year in China, I could get around by myself and communicate on most simple subjects. It's been a great experience for me, and I intend on continuing studying with my eChineseLearning teacher, who is a total babe.
The classes are great because they are tailored to my needs. I can choose the level of difficulty and the topics that I want to learn. The teachers are patient and understanding, and they make sure that I understand everything before moving on to the next topic. They also give me plenty of opportunities to practice speaking, which is really important when learning a new language.
One thing that I really appreciate about eChineseLearning is that they offer a free trial lesson. This gave me the opportunity to try out the classes and see if they were a good fit for me before committing to anything. The customer service is also excellent. They are always available to answer any questions that I have and to help me with any technical issues that I may encounter.
Overall, I would highly recommend eChineseLearning to anyone who is interested in learning Chinese. The classes are flexible, the teachers are great, and the customer service is excellent. It's a great way to learn a new language and to experience a new culture.
Professional and Patient Chinese Teachers - A Great Choice for Learning Chinese!
So, five years ago, my daughter wanted to go to China for a year to study in a high school. I was happy for her, but also worried about whether she could adapt to life in China. That's why we decided to let her learn Chinese in advance. We lived in California and tried many local Chinese tutors, but my daughter didn't show much interest in lessons. So, I searched online and found eChineseLearning. After one free trial, Doris (my daughter's name) seemed to find her passion in this language.
At the very beginning, she found Chinese difficult to learn, just like other children. Remembering Chinese characters almost made her crazy. Luckily, she met a very patient and responsible teacher named Nora. She always encourages my daughter, helps her review in time, and practices Chinese with her. Gradually, my daughter can understand simple Chinese conversations and speak short sentences. She told me she really enjoyed her Chinese lessons here.
Although now she returned to America after the exchange, she still continues to learn Chinese at eChineseLearning. The teachers here are high-qualified and the products are cost-effective. My daughter always recommends the school to her friends, lol...
Overall, I am very satisfied with eChineseLearning. The teachers are very professional and patient. They always encourage my daughter to learn Chinese and help her when she has difficulties. The products are also very cost-effective. I think it's a great choice for anyone who wants to learn Chinese.
eChinese has been a game-changer for my child's Chinese immersion education!
My kiddos are all in Chinese immersion at our school. My oldest, who is ten, started late in second grade and was having a tough time keeping up. I finally decided to give echinese a try. He's been doing it three times a week for ten months now and he's improved a ton. He just got his report card and he's now on grade level for speaking and listening. The teachers keep me in the loop on how he's doing. He's had three teachers and all of them have been really good. They stay positive even when my son is being a bit silly and not cooperating. He now knows more than his siblings who started in kindergarten. I wish I would have put him in years earlier so he wouldn't have struggled so much. We've had a few times where the teacher's computer wasn't working, but they always gave us an extra day so we weren't out anything. The only thing I would change is that I'd rather pay as we go or monthly instead of for a whole year. I'd also prefer one or two times a week instead of three because it's hard to fit other things in around it. I do have to schedule in advance as soon as I'm able or I don't get the times we want, but it usually works out okay. Now I'm thinking of having all my kids do it in the summer.
Passing the HSK 4 Test with eChineseLearning: A Professional and Reliable Solution
My Chinese skills have been getting better and better through my university classes and my self-study. However, when I reached the point where I needed more conversational skills to pass my HSK 4 test, I knew that I needed to hire a native-speaking tutor for 1-on-1 lessons. The HSK 4 test requires more conversational skills that are impossible to get through self-study. So, I looked around my university for a language exchange partner. But, none of the Chinese students I met with knew what the HSK test was!
That's when I decided to try online lessons with a professional teacher. I took a few trial lessons online and decided to sign up with eChineseLearning's HSK test preparation program. It was amazing! I was able to trust the teacher's guidance. Plus, the teacher helped me in my self-study to focus on learning the vocabulary and Listening, Reading and Writing skills that would be needed for the HSK 4. I gained great confidence and ended up passing the test. I think it was the confidence that helped the most. That's the kind of reassurance that only learning with a professional can bring!
I highly recommend eChineseLearning for any test preparation you may need, especially for the HSK! They have professional teachers who are native speakers and can help you with your conversational skills. The lessons are online, so you can learn from anywhere in the world. Plus, they have a flexible schedule, so you can take lessons at a time that works for you. The teachers are patient and kind, and they will help you with any questions you may have.
Overall, I had a great experience with eChineseLearning. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to improve their Chinese skills. They are professional, reliable, and affordable. So, if you want to pass the HSK test or just improve your conversational skills, give eChineseLearning a try!
eChineseLearning.com Review: A Costly Mistake and a Lesson Learned
So, I recently fell for the advertising gimmick of eChineseLearning.com. They claim that their "focus is on you" and even have testimonials from The Economist. I decided to subscribe to their service, but boy was I in for a surprise. Firstly, they assigned me a tutor who is booked out for the next two weeks. Secondly, they refused to refund my first month subscription fee, which is rather high (double?) at around $300 a month for up to 3 lessons a week. To make matters worse, when I raised a dispute with Paypal, they blocked my access completely.
I learned a valuable lesson from this experience - never trust advertising, even if it comes from a reputable source like The Economist. Also, never get into a subscription deal. Instead, consider pay-per-lesson variants like the ones available on italki.com. eChineseLearning.com is particularly bad because you have no control over anything. You only get to select a time slot, and if your tutor is not available that day (which is common, unless you book like a month in advance), you get a random substitution.
On the bright side, I discovered italki.com, which turned out to be awesome. I regret not starting with it in the first place.
Update: To add insult to injury, their representative, michael_echineselearning, contacted me via Skype and tried to blackmail me into removing all my comments. They said that they would only refund my payment if I cancelled all comments online about echineselearning, including but not limited to the ones on Twitter and Reddit. Sheesh!
eChineseLearning: The Best Way to Learn Chinese Online!
I'm a college student and I always wanted to study abroad. At first, I thought I'd go to Europe like most students going abroad do. But after I learned more about Asia, I decided that there was so much potential there I shouldn't miss out. China seemed like the place to be and was also more affordable than Japan. I decided to go study engineering for a semester in Shanghai and maybe pick up Chinese. Well, I had never thought of taking a course in school so how would I begin? Lol
I heard about online lessons from a friend teaching English online to Chinese kids. I searched the web and found echineselearning comes up a lot. After a free trial, I signed up for their Travel program since I was able to tell them my needs and they could personalize lessons around them. I really liked the flexibility of the teachers and the lessons that we learned together. After a few months, I was able to get a foundation for what I needed.
When I did get to Shanghai, I was able to immediately start using my Chinese at the airport! I decided to continue my lessons even when I was in China, since it was so convenient and affordable.
I'm still taking lessons and we've moved beyond basic conversation and travel language and into discussing things like home life and cultural differences. It's so much fun and has really motivated me to get out there and engage with Chinese people. When I get back to the US, I'll definitely continue. Chinatown, here I come!
I really like echineselearning because they have a lot of different programs to choose from. They also have a lot of different teachers, so you can find one that you really like. The lessons are really flexible, so you can schedule them whenever you want. The teachers are also really patient and helpful, which is great because I'm not very good at Chinese yet. I also like that they have a lot of different resources, like videos and quizzes, to help you learn. Overall, I would definitely recommend echineselearning to anyone who wants to learn Chinese.
eChineseLearning: The Convenient and Effective Way to Learn Chinese
Learning Chinese was always a far-fetched dream for me. I had watched a few videos on YouTube about how to introduce myself in Chinese, but I felt like it was impossible to learn. However, I decided to give it a try and signed up for a free trial lesson with eChineseLearning. Their YouTube videos were so friendly and interesting that I thought it was worth a shot.
During my free trial lesson, my teacher made me feel comfortable and confident. She understood that I had no confidence and was terrified to speak Chinese to someone in China. After the lesson, I felt like I could actually learn Chinese. I decided to take a shorter set of classes and after a few months, I extended for another year. Now, after 14 months of learning with eChineseLearning, I can hold basic conversations and take the HSK test to prove my skills and knowledge.
I can't believe how much I've learned in such a short amount of time. I've also been supplementing my lessons with lots of TV shows, movies, and documentaries. I've really gotten into Chinese culture and I hope to travel there someday when I have the free time.
I'm so glad I found eChineseLearning. I don't have time to drive to school and add more commute time to my schedule. In the time that I saved traveling to class, I was able to work some overtime at work, which probably covered the cost of my lessons! Although the price of the lessons may seem high at first, when you consider the convenience and opportunity that knowing Chinese can add to your life, it's really a bargain. Highly recommend :)
My Experience with eChineseLearning: The Best Choice for Learning Chinese Online
I grew up in Boston with a Korean mother and a Chinese father. My parents taught me Korean as my mother tongue, but it was hard for me not to know how to speak English since everyone around me spoke it. When I turned 18, my parents asked me if I wanted to learn Chinese, and I said yes without hesitation. I wanted to learn the language from my father's side and also because I already spoke two different languages when most of my friends only spoke one.
I started learning Chinese with a real-life tutor named Christina Wang. She was an excellent teacher, thoughtful, and always had a passion for life. She taught me more than just Chinese; I learned so many things from her, such as how Chinese people treat their relationships and their point of view on life. One thing she said to me that I could never forget was, "Tob, you are the artist of your life. You have a history most people don't. So use it, find it in your blood, dig in and turn them into your power." She was there for my Chinese learning program and kept me going for two years.
Unfortunately, when I got to high school, I couldn't move around my time to continually see her for learning Chinese. She told me that maybe I could give it a try where she has been co-working with, and that's when eChineseLearning came into my life.
At first, I was totally overwhelmed with how to cope with this online learning thing, and I almost gave up twice. But since I got used to the online learning pattern, it was no longer a difficulty for me. eChineseLearning has a lot of great teachers, and you can totally choose your class time. Their teachers are all around the world, and they have been teaching Chinese online for 14 years. No matter what level you are currently studying, they are completely qualified to teach.
If you are thinking of learning Chinese, eChineseLearning would be the best choice for you. They have helped me continue my Chinese learning journey, and I am grateful for that.

Disappointing Experience with eChineseLearning: Overpriced and Subpar Teaching
I gotta say, my experience with eChineseLearning was pretty disappointing. The teaching was just not up to par, and the price was way too steep for what I got out of it. I mean, don't get me wrong, they were pretty strict with their curriculum, but it just didn't feel like I was getting my money's worth. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking to learn Chinese.
Unreliable and Untrustworthy: Our Experience with eChineseLearning
So, we signed up for eChineseLearning and they had some policies that we agreed to. But then, they went and changed them without telling us. We were pretty upset about it and wanted a refund, but they wouldn't give us any money back. It's like they just change things whenever they feel like it and don't care about their customers. Honestly, it feels like a scam to us. We wouldn't recommend using this service if you're looking for something reliable and trustworthy.
Disappointing Experience with eChineseLearning: Limited Progress and Poor Customer Service
To be honest, I'm not too impressed with eChineseLearning. I've taken over 20 lessons with them and I haven't seen much improvement in my Chinese skills. It's a bit disappointing, to say the least.
But what really irks me is their customer service. It's only available during limited hours and the representatives speak terrible English. It's really unprofessional and makes it difficult to communicate any issues or concerns I have.
In fact, I was so frustrated with the lack of progress and poor customer service that I decided to request a refund. It's a shame because I was really hoping to improve my Chinese with eChineseLearning, but it just didn't work out for me.

eChineseLearning Review: Shady Business Practices and No Refunds
So, I gotta say, I was pretty excited to try out eChineseLearning. They offered me a free lesson to start, which sounded like a pretty sweet deal. But then they hit me with the ol' "gimme your credit card info" move. I was a little hesitant, but I figured, hey, it's just for the free lesson, right?
Well, turns out they charged me for the whole dang course right then and there. And when I asked for a refund, they straight up refused me. Three times! Can you believe that? I mean, I don't know about you, but that seems pretty shady to me.
Honestly, I wouldn't recommend eChineseLearning to anyone. They're just not trustworthy, you know? It's like they're trying to scam you or something. So if you're looking for a legit online Chinese course, I'd say steer clear of these guys. They're not worth the trouble.
Beware of eChineseLearning's Pushy Sales Tactics and Rigid Prices
So, I was looking for a Chinese language learning service and stumbled upon eChineseLearning. They offered me a free lesson, which I tried, but I didn't end up hiring them because their prices were too rigid for me. However, since then, they have been emailing and calling me regularly, even though I've asked them to stop. This lady named Doris Zhang has been particularly pushy and ignores my requests to stop contacting me. It's really annoying and I regret giving them my contact information. So, if you're thinking about using eChineseLearning, be careful and don't give them your contact information unless you want to be bothered constantly.
Mixed Experience with eChineseLearning: A Review of Their Language Lessons
I tried out eChineseLearning for some lessons and I gotta say, it was a mixed bag. The teachers are all young and fresh outta school, which can be good or bad depending on your preferences. Some of them were great and really knew their stuff, but others were a bit shaky and seemed like they were still figuring things out.
One thing that really bugged me was that they didn't seem to have much of a plan for the lessons. Sometimes we'd spend the whole time just chatting, which was fun but not really what I was paying for. And there was a lot of variation in the teachers' abilities - some were really good at explaining things clearly, while others would just repeat the same thing over and over again without really helping me understand.
I also had a few lessons that felt like a total waste of time. I don't know if it was just a bad day or what, but there were a couple of times when I felt like I didn't learn anything at all.
One thing that really bothered me was that they record everything - and they don't tell you about it. I don't know what they do with those recordings, but it made me feel a bit uncomfortable. And they're not very flexible either - if you need to reschedule a lesson, they're not always able to accommodate you.
Overall, I'm not sure if I'd recommend eChineseLearning. There are definitely better language providers out there, and for the money, I think you could find something that suits you better.
Disappointing Experience with eChineseLearning: Young Inexperienced Teachers and Poor Customer Service
I'm a foreigner living in China and I was told to try out echineselearning to enhance my Chinese language skills. However, I was disappointed with the service and I don't think it's worth the money. The teachers are all young and inexperienced, and their English is not very good. As a beginner, I found it difficult to make progress in my studies. The customer service is also not very helpful. I'm not very good with technology and they made me feel stupid for not understanding how to use their platform.
Despite my negative experience with echineselearning, I still believe that online education is the way of the future. However, I would not recommend this service to anyone looking to learn Chinese. There are better options out there that offer more experienced teachers and better customer service.
Review of eChineseLearning: Dedicated Teachers, but Lacks Structure and Expensive
The teachers at eChineseLearning are certainly putting in effort, but the classes lack structure and it can be difficult for students to determine the lesson plan on their own. This is not ideal for those who are seeking a more guided learning experience. Additionally, the connection issues can be quite frequent, as the teachers are working from home and may experience power outages or poor internet connections. It's worth noting that eChineseLearning does have an office that their teachers can work from, which could potentially alleviate some of these issues.
One major drawback of eChineseLearning is the cost. It's quite expensive for what you get, and on top of that, you have to pay additional fees to purchase the textbooks, which are not included in the package. For those who are looking to learn Chinese, there may be other providers out there that offer a better service at a more reasonable price.
Overall, while eChineseLearning has its strengths, such as dedicated teachers who are willing to put in effort, it falls short in terms of structure, connection issues, and cost. It's worth considering other options before committing to this service.
poor customer service - lack of times for class - they are not 24/7
May 2018, they cannot fill their schedule - they advertise lessons 24/7. They do not deliver. Teachers change constantly. I had set times, but due to lack of teachers, my classes are at times that I cannot make. This all happened from time to time - They did fix the problem but only to have it reoccur after I purchased a 2 year plan. So, I have a PayPal dispute open to get my money back...
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Extremely annoying people!
I found www.echineselearning.com and since they offered a free lesson I decided to try it. Well, I decided that their lessons are not good enough and told them that I'm not interested. But they still had my contact information, , my email and my phone number and they continued to call me and offer me lessons! I told them a million times that I don't want to buy anything, but they were extremely pushy and called me again and again. Do not give them your information, these people are super annoying!
I was surprised to hear about this. I also signed up a free lesson a few months ago and decided not to proceed for different reasons (I was on tight budget, etc). I thought although they wanted me to buy more lessons, they were quite gracious and nice people (didn't push me afterwards either)...
