Eber & Wein is a cool website. They let me join their contest in 2009. I wrote about Obama, who was the prez at the time. It was a dope year for Black folks in the US.

Eber & Wein, Inc. is a total rip off! I had a poem published in their book called "Where the Mind Dwells," but now I see that book all over Amazon. The only thing I got out of the deal for my poem being published was a few poetry books that my poem was in, plus a plaque with the poem. I'm pretty sure that for each copy being sold, they're making a profit. Don't waste your time with these guys!

I was asked to submit a poem and it got accepted. While waiting for my book copy, I wrote because it was taking too long. No one answered the phone no matter how many times I called, but I got quick responses through email. I finally got my book copy as promised when it finished printing. I really like it. Thanks Eber & Wein.

I sent in a poem in May and got a nice letter saying it would be published. They asked for 59.95 for a copy of the book, and my check got cashed on 6/30. But it's now 10/2 and still no book! Terrible customer service, if you ask me. Are they for real or just another scam? Hmm...

I'm Shannon A and I sent my poem, I can't breathe, to Eber & Wein's contest. But turns out, a lot of folks complained about them being a fraud company. They sent everyone the same letter, saying their poem made it to the semi-final stage and the winners will be announced in spring. They also promised grand prizes. I took a chance and ordered a book from them, which claimed to have my poem in the 2022 version of Best Poets. It cost me $59.95 plus $6.00 for shipping and handling. I'm really mad and want my money back ASAP.

I been gettin' my poems published by Eber & Wein, Inc since 2010 and I gotta say, I really dig the book. I used to work at the Central Library of Rochester and Monroe County as a library page before I retired. Writin' poems and seein' 'em in a book is somethin' I really enjoy. I send the books with my poems to the Poetry Collection at SUNY at Buffalo and the curator there likes 'em too. I moved from Rochester to Batavia to be closer to my kids and there ain't much appreciation for poetry here. Mostly I just write in my journal and read in my apartment, so gettin' my poem published is kinda like therapy for me. I hope to keep sendin' my poems to Eber and Wein in the future, but I'm 77 now and wonderin' how many more poems I'll be able to send.

I sent my poem to Eber & Wein, Inc and they put it on their site with a mistake! I tried to contact them through their website and social media, but they didn't fix the mistake. I want my poem taken down now because others have had issues with them too.

I tried to send a message to Eber & Wein Publishing through their website for days, but it kept giving me an error notice. I paid for an item last year and I got a notice from stamps.com on 2/4 that the item had been shipped by Eber & Wein Publishing via USPS media mail with an estimate delivery time of 6 days. When I checked the tracking number, it only said that a label was created on 2/4 and "USPS awaiting item." I think it might be sitting somewhere because it's not showing "in transit." Can you please check on this for me? Thanks!

So, I put my poem in a contest with ***. I got a letter from Eber & Wein saying I made it to the semi-finals. They said they'd publish my poem in a book. They sent another letter saying I could get a discount if I bought the book. But then, I didn't hear anything for months. I looked them up and found out they're a scam. I messaged them on their website, asking for my book or my money back. The winner was picked on 9/1, but I still haven't gotten anything. They charged me $58.95 on 2/15. It's been a while, so I should have an answer by now.

I got two problems with Eber & Wein, Inc. First, I ain't got vol 4 even though I paid for it. Second, they want us poets to pay for a book that we gave them the material for. They're making money off of us and then charging us almost 60 bucks for a book that should be free or at least cheaper for us. I know publishing ain't cheap, but why should we send them our poetry if we ain't getting no profit from it? I hope they can fix these issues 'cause I ain't gonna keep letting them take advantage of me and my talent.

I paid $78.95 in a money order on 12/3 to Eber & Wein to purchase a book that my poem was to be published in, plus for a personal statement about myself. To date, I have not received the book "Best Poems if 2019" nor have I heard anything from them. I would like the book or my money back. Thank you.

I have been trying to remove my account and all of my poetry for over a year. Their Contact Us page gives me an error message every single time I hit submit, I've never gotten a response to any of my emails, and out of the dozens of times I've called, I've only ever spoken to two people, who didn't resolve my issue. I don't know if this company is a scam or if their customer service just sucks, but the operation seems to be run terribly.

I was recently sent mail from Eber & Wein Publishing about a poetry contest that contained a form to pay for the book in which my creative work would e published. It was typed in the mail that I would receive further mail from them about the work but I never received anything else. After some research, this is not the first time this has happened with the company. Multiple people have done this and never received anything from them as well.

I have a poem listed on Eber and Wein's 'Poetry Nation' website which I have been trying to remove for the past year, but still shows up in the search results under my name. Due to no longer using the email address affiliated with the Poetry Nation account, I am not able to go in myself and delete it - nor contact Poetry Nation/Eber and Wein in the 'Contact' field as it doesn't work. They don't answer the phone even during their 'hours' and its the same message every time. Is this even a real company? I look forward to hearing back...

The issues I have with Eber and Wein are more than one. The first being an advertising issue the second being a delivery issue the third being a service and repair issue not to memtion delayed communication at times. After entering into theirnpoetry contest they send me notification my poem has been chosen to be in their 2020 book of best poets. As a contributing author I am being offered a discount to purchase this book. I also see I can purchase a certificate of this accomplishment which is shown on their site in a normal off white certificate color with a navy binder. I order both products back in May. After many attempts of trying to find out why I was not be contacted or sent these products I was given excuses as to why they havent been able to produce the items they are selling. Finally on July 8th. I received the certificate I ordered but instead of the advertised off white paper it is on blue paper and it looks very fake and not worth at all the price I paid. As well the binder cover it came in had a dent in it. I contacted the company quite a few times before finally receiving an email today telling me they only have blue certificates which is not advertised on their site and therefore rendering my request for a reprint incapable. I was only offered another binder which I claimed not to need since my goal was to frame it. But now I cannot do that either. They are telling me to now send it back to them and they habe still not sent the book I ordered and not given me any ETA as to when it will be sent. At this point I am not sure what to expect as it seems this company are.liers and try to purposefully mislead the very people who help write the books they are selling.
