I went to East side Mario‘s in aurora ontario for dinner The other night The food was awful and the server was very rude and the manager was very rude I will not visit that location ever again . The manager was yelling at his employees not a good atmosphere to go for dinner.

We had this May 27 check #6481 our favourite meals and unfortunately we got three hard rock parmesan we spent $68:64 and not able to enjoy

Good evening

I don't usually complain about businesses especially food complaints. I truly understand businesses are busy especially during special occasions. I just think if you order online for a specific time and you know your running behind you leave a note sorry for the inconvenience but we are running behind. Or cut of the order online

We ordered online for 635 thinking the rush would be over. And when nothing came up online saying they were running behind.

We arrived at 635 to pickup our order only to be told it will be ready in 15 no problem.

Came back in 20mins only told to come back in an hour

Seriously you said 15mins 20 mins ok

I understand your overly busy but don't lie and say one thing and then say another and the person telling us this being really rude.

Come back in hour wait 10 more mins and finally get our food no apology or discount

Since we were starving at this we decided to eat in parking lot of restaurant

Only to open it up and it's stone cold

Really cold

Shouldn't have been cold if just made

Instead of waiting in line to complain and probably wait another hour for you to reheat it we left

Very disappointed

Atleast some compensation should have been made at the beginning

Regardless of the occasion this not acceptable

We are paying customers to regardless if we dined in or did take out

East Side Mario's Product & service

Most disturbing experience in restaurant business today.

Location: east side Mario, milton Ontario

Name of manager: Jordan

Ordered food over the phone at 7:10pm, told food will ready in 20 minutes.

Waiting there till 7:55, front staff tell me there was mix up in the kitchen with my order and it’s going to be another 5 minutes. After 5 minutes she comes out and says they forgot about my pizza and will start making it right now. At this point I request I will take whatever is ready and just take refund for what’s not ready. Front staff goes looking for a manager who is gone for a smoke break . When he returns, says I am going to check what’s happening in the kitchen. Whereas I am asking him not to do that I can wait and go to just issue a refund. He leaves and goes inside, hauling me from leavimg, I literally had to ask him to come out and issue a refund. He then says there is process to issue a refund and goes inside again, screaming and yelling in front of other, “ you don’t work, so listen to me”. Extremely rude and disrespectful. Yelled at me in front of others.

I told him I will complain about this to which he arrogantly says go ahead.

Food given to me was half cooked, missing vegetables as requested. Salad had gone bad, garlic bread was burnt.

East Side Mario's Horrible Customer Service and Foods (Cooking)

Date: 11 March 2022, Location :Orillia, Time: Dinner

This is not the first time we went to this location. I the foods was good when the old owner still running the restaurant. After they changed the owner and I found out that East Side Mario also changed the sauce and cooking on the menu. The verity not as great as before. The tomato base sauce was too sour, no taste and no flavor. I ordered Seafood Linguine for the price of $21.00, I barely see the seafood on my plate. The tomato sauce was tasteless. I try to put more cheese to make it better but unfortunately, I can't eat this kind of horrible food. Italian restaurant but it doesn't taste like real Italian cooking. Shame on you!

Customer service...was a joke! No service at all.

1) Take a long time to serve my table without any friendly smiling face. Don't feel coming at all.

2) When he came to the table, the bread bag and the empty plates, he never take away. I gave him few chance without saying a words to see if he know how to clean up those empty plates and the bread bags. The answer is no. Finally, I have to tell him to removed and he wasn't really happy with his action shown.

3) I wasn't happy with my meal and he never come to check until paying time. I full plate of my dinner still standing on the table. So my company has a dinner and I am not. Is not my job to call the server over. They want good tips but if they give such service...you are not getting it.

I can see the rating is really bad, you should know why? I will never return to East Side Mario anymore. Very disappointed trip, we drove 45 minutes there to have my dinner.

If the no one listen and take action to make it better, I am sure one day, all the restaurant will close down.

Desired outcome: Change the cooking and bring the good real Italian taste back. Charging so much and make sure it value for the money.

East Side Mario's Missing food, etc from our order this evening

We purchased food at the Marios on Consumers Drive. Saint John, NB
We love the food there and have never had any problems before.
But tonight we ordered our usual stuff but when we got home and my husband opened his Hells Kitchen Chicken there were no wedges. Also, he had to peel off part of a stick off a piece of pepper.
Very disappointed in the food tonight. The service was great but food was
not. The gentleman that was in the take out part was so busy. He should have had another person helping him. He did a great job.

East Side Mario's Staff and cleanliness

Upon being seated at 5 pm merivale rd ottawa location, we noticed the plates on the table had sauce sticking them together. Then the waitress gave us dirty menus and a loaf of rock hard bread.
While waiting on our order we noticed the kitchen staff, only one member was wearing his mask properly. This was indead not a safe place to be, we are all suppose to be doing our part to help control covid, i feel this location failed to do so.

East Side Mario's Product and service

I have never lodged a complaint before but tonight we went out for dinner, I have to make an exception. We took our granddaughter for dinner for her 18th birthday. East Sides was her choice. I understand coming back after Covid is extremely difficult and I respect the trials and tribulations. First, the service was terrible, I could almost overlook that but when I eventually had to ask our server to bring us the bread and the salad that was included in the meals. I ordered a garden salad as my meal. A bowl with maybe a 1/4 head of iceberg lettuce, that looked old and wilted, 3 red onion rings and two black olives smothered in dressing was put in front of me which frankly looked disgusting. I was expected to pay 10.99 for something that I would not serve to anyone. I totally understand these are difficult times and restaurant have been through hell. For this reason I am complaining as I hope you will fix your problems. I for one will not be back for quite some time

Desired outcome: Fix the problem, quality and service are paramount. You failed on both.

East Side Mario's Cornwall ON location

June 24th 2021 My family of 6 were celebrating my daughters grade 6 graduation and after miniputt we visited the East Side Mario located in Cornwall, ON. My daughter's choice of restaurant. When we arrived the host asked how many and when I said for 6 she looked at us and said, "your clearly not from the same household!" Being that I am an indigenous woman married to a white man who I've been with for 21 years I felt completely disrespected that the assumption was that our beautiful family couldn't possibly be from the same household! We were then told to wait outside for a table. After 20 minutes my husband went in to ask for water for my youngest son who was very dehydrated from the moment we first arrived to which he was told they are not allowed to give water to anyone outside. The rest of the service was great and we left well fed. I did not want to ruin our great outting so I decided not to speak to the manager at that time. June 25th 2021 I called the Cornwall location to file a complaint to the manager. She indicated that the lady who I was talking about may have actually been the manager on duty at that time. She continued to say, "I'm not making excuses but..." Finally I told her I would follow up with the appropriate channel for my complaint and she stopped and asked what I'm expecting or what I want her to do. Also told me that this is the first time she's ever had to deal with this type of situation. I asked for a simple apology and for her to follow the appropriate process for filing a complaint. She did apologize and she also took my name and phone number.

Desired outcome: Perhaps the branch can undergo sensitivity training for dealing with indigenous people considering this location is less than 5 minutes away from the Akwesasne Reserve.

East Side Mario's Customer service

I call the Whitby east side Mario to place a Father's Day meal, lady took my order and ask for my credit card she said ok your meal will be ready by 4:30 I said ok but I decide to call back to add another thing to my order they said that it didn't have my order and it mark 0 beside, I don't understand if there was a issue with something that didn't go threw why didn't they call me back ? lucky I call to add something to my order cause if not I would have when there to pick it up and wouldn't have been ready as for some reason it was cancel, I was very disapointing as we need the food by 4:30 and of course they have to re order the food the last lady that fixe my order over was very helpful but the first that mess up my order didn't do her job as she didn't call to tell me and just left it with no order, I'm not sure I'll be going back there again

East Side Mario's Multiple debit charges and no dinner!

Good morning,
We had a frustrating experience over the long weekend with our local East Side Mario's from which we order regularly. As I always do, I placed a simple order online for the Family Pasta Deal of $39.99. The first attempt said my credit card did not go through. I retried a second time knowing that the card was fine and funds there. The order still read the card would not go through so I switched to a different card. Before doing a third time, I checked my CIBC account and say that both charges had gone through fine - my bank account had been deducted 45.19 twice. I called the call center and was told, the order showed as pending and that I would have to order a third time. I indicated my reluctancy to be charged a third time. The call centre advised I should be refunded in 10 days. Thats a long time for a double charge for nothing. I then called the restaurant and explained. They told me to come over and they would prepare my meal. I went to pick up thinking they would either refund the two charges I showed on my debit card and I would pay in person or they would provide my meal based on two charges - double the amount. They would not provide the meal until I paid a third time. It was an exhausting experience. I spent 2 hours sorting this out trying to get a simple meal for my kids to end up with nothing. The charges still remain now that the banks are reopened. I did not receive any assistance as well as, I have been in business a long time. To a regular customer, you would think the restaurant would give us our meal knowing we paid twice. Had there been any issue, they had my information and card on file anyway to recharge. Terrible experience and I am sure they ended up throwing the order out in these times. This was Saturday night at the Appleby Line/Upper Middle Road location in Burlington. We order all the time and very disappointed. Melissa
