doxo Doxo.com Review: Hidden Fees and Poor Customer Service

I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with doxo.com. I mean, their website says "NO Payment fees," but then they hit you with these sneaky "Payment Delivery Fees" after you've already submitted your payment. And get this - they're just to cover their overhead! Like, come on, man. You're always gonna have to pay these fees unless you sign up for their "PLUS" package, which means you gotta make monthly payments just to use their service.

So, I decided to give them a call and let them know how I feel. And let me tell you, I spent literal HOURS on the phone with these people. And what did they tell me? "If we refunded everyone's fees we wouldn't be in business." Like, seriously? That's the best you can do?

But here's the real kicker. I was calling on behalf of an elderly person who's been having some memory issues lately. And you know what doxo.com said? "Sorry, not our problem." They refused to refund the customer's fees, even though it was pretty clear that there was a misunderstanding.

I mean, I get it. They gotta make money somehow. But it just seems kinda shady to me. And when I asked if they ever make exceptions and refund fees, Vicki in Senior Management said "Yes we do sometimes return fees, but in this case we absolutely will not be doing that." So, I guess it's just luck of the draw whether or not you'll get your fees refunded.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend doxo.com. They might seem like a good deal at first, but those hidden fees can really add up. And if you have any issues, good luck getting them resolved.

doxo DOXO Review: Unprofessional and Inconvenient Payment Service

So, I had this experience with DOXO on October 8, 2019, when I was trying to pay a speeding ticket in Georgia. I went online and typed in the website to pay the ticket, but I was redirected to DOXO. I authorized my visa to pay the ticket and fee, but unfortunately, DOXO never sent the payment to the Georgia DMV. As a result, the ticket was not paid, and I missed the November 2019 court date. I received a notice via mail that my license may be suspended due to the ticket not being paid.

On December 12, 2019, I called the Georgia DMV and paid the ticket right away. I also called the DOXO customer service center and was told that my credit card would be credited. However, my credit card was not credited as of December 17, 2019. I tried to contact them through several emails, but the customer service representative informed me that they couldn't reimburse my visa. Instead, they said that a check would be placed in the mail on December 17. They stated their timeframe is 7-10 business days after the check was requested. However, it has been 11 business days, and I still haven't received the check.

I had to call them every day until last Friday, when I finally received the check in the mail. It was a frustrating experience, and I wouldn't recommend DOXO if you want your bills to be paid on time. They were very unprofessional, and it caused me a lot of stress and inconvenience.

doxo DOXO Review: A Rollercoaster Ride with a Happy Ending Thanks to Jacob's Exceptional Customer Service

I recently used DOXO to pay my car note, and boy was it a rollercoaster ride! A week after making the payment, I received a call from the finance company that my car is through, asking for payment. I was so confused and asked them if they were sure they didn't receive the payment. They were adamant that they did not participate with DOXO for receiving payments. I was scared and didn't know what to do. I mean, where did my payment go?

At first, the finance company didn't want to help me and told me it was my job to figure it out. They just wanted their payment. I was at a loss until I got in touch with a representative from DOXO named Jacob. Let me tell you, he was a godsend! He listened to my problem and genuinely cared to help me. Jacob even offered to 3-way call the finance company with me (which we did the following day).

Jacob found the problem immediately - I had typed the wrong account number by one digit. He was awesome and a wonderful people person. He was calm about making sure I was okay and reassuring me that he was going to help me take care of the issue (and he did!). Jacob will always be a blessing to me and my family. He is a shining example of what customer service should be like.

I can't thank Jacob and DOXO enough for their help and support during this stressful time. I highly recommend DOXO to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy payment platform. Just make sure you double-check your account numbers!

doxo DO NOT USE DOXO: Overpriced and Unreliable Payment Service

So, I was trying to pay my water bill online and I found DOXO on Google. I didn't read too much about it, but it seemed like a legit site. I paid my bill online, but there was an almost $5 fee. A few days later, I received a new bill, which still had the previous balance on it. I called the water company to make sure everything was okay, and they said that the payment wouldn't arrive at the MUD district for another 5 days, which made it a total of 10 days.

Fast forward to today, and I received my new bill, which had three months of dues on it. I called the water company, and they said that they hadn't received the payment. I tried to get in touch with DOXO through their live chat, but it was completely useless. I then called their phone number, and the lady who answered could speak English, but with a very heavy accent that made her hard to understand. I wanted to cancel my payment, but she told me that the payments department would get back to me in up to 3 DAYS! I hope they call me back.

I'm sorry for the rant, but I'm really upset. I don't usually write reviews, but I've never been so disappointed. The bottom line is that you should never use DOXO!

doxo Beware of Doxo: Fraudulent Payment Service that Hurts People

I was trying to pay my Strata Network bill when I was redirected to Doxo. I paid the bill and the next day, my service was disconnected. It was a tough time for us as we all have COVID and we need the internet to work and do school. We called Strata, but they had never heard of Doxo. It was really fraudulent as Doxo made every effort to look like they "are" Strata. Their merchant account even says "Dox Strata Networks" only part of their name and the whole name of Strata. Their email response to me had a Strata logo on it. They never informed me that they would be paying my bill in days until after they had my money. This has really hurt my family. I don't want an apology. I want your business shut down. You are a cancer in the life of the people you use. If you can get millions of people to give you a hundred dollars, then you hold it for 2-4 days, you then have hundreds of millions in your account at all times to use to make even more. And you charge for this service. The only reason that you make yourself look like these individual companies is to trick people into using you. They NEVER would use your service if you told them how you operate. We don't need you. You hurt people.

doxo Doxo Review: Frustrating Login Process and Ridiculous Fees - Below Negative 10 Rating

Every time I try to log in to doxo, it doesn't recognize my password. It's like I'm speaking a different language or something. It's so frustrating! I mean, seriously, why can't they just let me in? Instead, I have to go through this whole song and dance of asking for a temporary password, checking my email, waiting for the password to arrive, going back to the doxo site, entering the temporary password, selecting a new password, and then entering the new password twice. It's like they're trying to make it as difficult as possible for me to access my own account.

And don't even get me started on the fees. They charge so much that even Captain Jack Sparrow would be impressed. It's absolutely ridiculous! I mean, why would anyone in their right mind pay for this when most banks and credit unions have their own bill paying apps that are free? It just doesn't make any sense.

If I had to choose between doxo and Pony Express, I would choose the ponies. At least they're reliable and don't charge an arm and a leg.

Doxo has a rating chart from 0 to 10, with 10 being excellent. But I think they need a new rating system exclusively for doxo. It should go from negative 10 to 10, because that's how bad they are. My rating for them is below negative 10.

In conclusion, I would not recommend doxo to anyone. Save yourself the headache and use a different service. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

doxo Captivating and Emotional: A Review of The Kite Runner

WATCH OUT FOR THESE CROOKS! I was paying my insurance bill online on my insurance companys site just as I always do. I was obviously redirected to Doxo. I did not know I was redirected as I specifically went to my insurance companys website as always. I have never heard of Doxo and thought that my insurance must have a new payment page and system as I had to type in my email address and confirm the email they sent for what I now know was setting up the doxo account. I thought they were updating my info in their new system. I had no idea this was a third party. If they are a reputable company then why dont they stick to traditional ways to solicit business rather than showing up as a pop up that no one would think that is not who they intended on paying. I have since contacted my insurance company and they have no affiliation with Doxo and furthermore you can pay online throught their website for free as you do not need a third party. Why would I use a third party when I dont have to? I called doxo to request a refund. They denied saying they already made the payment. I asked why dont you stick to making money off of people that intend on using you and refund the ones that you tricked into using you that did not intentionally use you. They said the fee was documented in the payment. That may be so but I did not look at the payment that well because I expected it to charge me exactly what I put in the payment. Again I thought I was on my insurance website and I had no reason to look to see if they might charge me differently. My bill was $2342. 00 and they charged a fee of $82.25 so my total was $2424. 25. I never looked at it again until I saw the charge on my credit card statement and It did not match my bill. I am pretty smart when it comes to the shysters and thieves but doxo got by me. WATCH OUT FOR THIS CROCKED COMPANY!

doxo Doxo Review: Convenient Online Bill Pay for Multiple Companies, but with a Fee

I never heard of doxo until I bought a house that used gas and doxo was the only option for online bill pay. I like that doxo emails me anytime I have a new document, whether it be a monthly bill, notices of rate changes, or anything else my gas company would normally mail to me. Then, they even send me reminders when I have a bill that is about to be due. That is one of the differences between my other utility companies that have their own website for bill pay vs. using doxo. Another difference and something that can be very beneficial is that you can use doxo for multiple utility companies. That way you can view all of your documents and pay all of your bills for multiple companies on one website.

The only issue that I had is that the fee that doxo charges is a little on the high side. When I first saw the amount, I was so upset because I had no other option. But then I saw that they offer free payments if you use your checking account. So that's what I chose to do, and now doxo is actually cheaper than paying my other utility bills, which the companies charge a fee no matter what method of payment you use online. In fact, some won't even allow the use of my checking account.

I haven't ever had any issues with late payment charges, etc. like some people have said in their reviews. Sometimes the charge from doxo won't actually go through until after my due date, but I still haven't ever been assessed a late fee. You can also set up recurring payments so that doxo will automatically pay your bill(s) each month, based on the date and method of payment that you choose. The website for doxo itself is pretty simple to use. I don't think it would require much technical/computer knowledge for anyone that isn't used to online options. And I feel that it is a secure payment method.

So while some people may not like using a "middle man" for their online bill pay, etc., I think it can be very beneficial for those that would give it a chance. Try it, and you will find yourself coming up with more pros than cons than you thought you would.

doxo Doxo Review: Frustration, Late Fees, and Deleted Accounts - A Cautionary Tale

So, I had a bit of a problem with Doxo. I had three accounts set up with them, but one of them was causing me some trouble. You see, the bill for that account varied from month to month, and I just couldn't get Doxo to sync up with the due date and amount owed. It seemed like Doxo needed an exact, recurring monthly amount or it just didn't know what to do. As a result, I ended up getting late and cut off notices from the utility company, and I had to pay about $18.00 in late fees over the past three months. That's a lot of money, if you ask me. I mean, stamps are cheaper than that!

Anyway, I tried to delete the account myself, but the Doxo dashboard wouldn't let me. It said there was a pending due date for that utility bill, and I couldn't delete the account until that was taken care of. I didn't care about that, though. I wanted to be in charge of my own accounts, and if I wanted to delete an account, I should be able to do it. So, I called customer service and asked them to remove the account for me. They said they would, but a few days later, when I tried to log in to Doxo, I couldn't. It didn't recognize my login credentials, and it said the entire account no longer existed. That was a shock, let me tell you. It was like writing paper checks, addressing envelopes, and then finding out you don't have any stamps to mail them anyway.

I had other utility bills registered for payment through Doxo, and it was never my intention to delete the entire Doxo account. I just wanted to get rid of that one account. So, I called customer service again, but it was almost impossible to get through. I didn't have an account with Doxo anymore, so I didn't know how to contact them. But I'm a boomer, and I'm resourceful, so I found a way. The customer service rep told me that the account would be reinstated within 24 to 48 hours, but it's been more than a week, and I still can't log in. When I try, it says the account doesn't exist.

Now, I have other utility bills that are paid through the Doxo account, but they obviously won't be getting paid because the account no longer exists. When I try to log in to those utility companies' websites to pay my bill, they tell me I already have a Doxo account associated with them and to log in to Doxo to review and pay my bill. But I can't log in to Doxo because they deleted my account! It's like a never-ending cycle of frustration.

Honestly, I'm starting to think that maybe the children were wrong. Maybe paper checks, envelopes, and stamps aren't so bad after all. At least I know they won't disappear on me like my Doxo account did.

doxo Doxo Review: Unreliable and Full of False Promises

I've had some experiences with doxo and I gotta say, it's not been great. I tried to make my car payment twice through them, but both times they charged my bank account and held onto the money for about two weeks before suddenly refunding it. This caused me to be hit with some late payments because they couldn't deliver the money on time. It's been a real hassle and I definitely won't be using them again. In fact, I recommend that nobody else does either.

One of the things that really irks me about doxo is that they claim there are no fees when you link your bank account. But as you can see in my receipt, I paid with a bank account and was charged $4.99. That's just ridiculous. I don't appreciate a company that's filled with lies and false promises. It's just not worth the headache.

Overall, I'd say that doxo is not a reliable or trustworthy service. They've caused me a lot of problems and I wouldn't want anyone else to have to deal with that. There are plenty of other payment options out there that are much more reliable and won't cause you any headaches. So do yourself a favor and steer clear of doxo.

doxo Doxo Review: Annoyingly Slow Payment Processing for Utility Bills

Doxo is a website that our water company uses to pay bills electronically. They are kind of annoying because they take 6 days from the time they pull the cash from your bank account until your water account is actually credited with the payment. It's like they are holding onto your money for a few days just to make some extra cash. It's not fair, but what can you do?

I mean, come on, it's 2021! With same-day ACH, this process is unnecessary and annoying. In this day and age, it should not take 6 days to pay someone. It's just not right. I don't know why our water company uses Doxo, but I wish they would switch to something else.

I don't really understand why Doxo exists. They seem like a middle man that just gets in the way. I mean, why can't we just pay our bills directly to the utility company? It would be so much easier and faster. But I guess that's just not how things work these days.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend using Doxo if you have the option to pay your bills directly to the utility company. It's just not worth the hassle and the extra time it takes for your payment to go through. Plus, who knows what kind of fees they are charging behind the scenes. It's always better to be safe than sorry when it comes to your money.

doxo Doxo Scam Alert: False Utility Payment Demands and Threats

So, I got this letter from Doxo, right? It was all threatening and stuff, saying I owed them money for some utility payment. But get this - I moved out of that place like 2 and a half years ago! And when I checked with my old utility company, they had no idea who Doxo was! They even sent me an email and a final statement showing I had a big fat zero balance. So I forwarded all that to Doxo, but they just keep coming at me with all this double talk and mixed up messages. Like, make up your mind already, Doxo! Do I owe you or not?

I'm so fed up with these guys. They're wasting my time and causing me all sorts of stress. That's why I'm gonna take matters into my own hands and let every state and federal consumer protection agency know what's going on. Doxo needs to learn that they can't just bully people into paying for stuff they never even processed. It's not right, and I won't stand for it.

doxo Negative Experience with doxo.com for Bill Payment: Avoid at All Costs

I recently used doxo.com to pay a dental bill and unfortunately, I had a negative experience. According to doxo, the payment was delivered on a specific date, but when I checked with my biller, they had no record of receiving my payment. I attempted to contact doxo to resolve the issue, but I had no luck. The virtual chat feature was not helpful and did not answer any of my questions or provide me with information on how to speak with a live representative.

I strongly advise against using doxo to pay your bills. It is a terrible feeling to be unable to resolve an issue, especially during a time when money is tight. I fear that I may have lost the money I paid through doxo. If you have other means of paying your bills, I suggest using them instead.

Overall, my experience with doxo was extremely disappointing. I hope that others can learn from my mistake and avoid using this company for bill payments.

doxo Frustrating Experience with doxo.com: Confusing Messages and Mistakes on Notices

So, I was getting these messages from doxo.com about a medical bill that I had to pay. But, the thing is, they didn't tell me how much I owed or who I owed it to. Every month, I would get one of these messages and I would try to figure out what was going on. But, when I clicked on the "pay bill" button, it said that I didn't owe anything. I was so confused!

Then, I got a notice saying that I was late on my payment and that I might be sent to a collection agency. That's when I finally figured out who I owed and how much I owed them - it was only $5.10! But, even that notice had a mistake on it. They printed the wrong website address, so when I tried to go there, it said "not found". It was supposed to be https://***@promptd.com, but they printed https://paybiotel.promptd.com instead.

Overall, my experience with doxo.com was really frustrating. It was impossible to understand how much I owed and who I owed it to. And, even when I finally figured it out, there were mistakes on the notices that they sent me. I wouldn't recommend using this billing service if you can avoid it.

doxo Doxo.com Review: Unreliable Guarantee and Unnecessary Fees for PAY BY PLATE MA Payments

I recently used doxo.com to pay for my tolls on the PAY BY PLATE MA website. I found doxo.com through a quick Google search and thought it was the official website. However, I soon found out that they were not affiliated with PAY BY PLATE MA and charged me a fee of $3.99 for their service. I was not happy about this as I could have avoided the fee if I had used the official website.

To make matters worse, doxo.com delivered my payment late which resulted in an additional fee of $8.00. I was very frustrated with this as I had relied on their guarantee that my payment would be posted by September 6th. However, it was not posted until September 12th, which was two and a half weeks after I had completed the payment on their website.

I called doxo.com to get this issue resolved and was put on hold for 15 minutes. When I finally spoke to a representative, they told me that they were not responsible for any late fees and could not do anything about it. I was very disappointed with their response as I had trusted their guarantee and relied on their service to make my payment on time.

Overall, I would not recommend using doxo.com for any payments as they are not affiliated with the official websites and charge unnecessary fees. Additionally, their guarantee is not reliable and they do not take responsibility for any issues that may arise. It is best to stick with the official websites to avoid any problems and ensure that your payments are made on time.

doxo Unsatisfactory Experience with Doxo Payment Platform for Personal Property Taxes

I recently used Doxo to pay my personal property taxes for my city. Unfortunately, I had a less than satisfactory experience with this payment platform. Firstly, my payment took over 15 days to arrive, which was quite frustrating. But that wasn't even the worst part. The payment was sent to the wrong department - the sewage/water department of my current city, which is actually located in a completely different city. This was a major inconvenience for me, as I had to do all the leg work myself to find the check and get it to the correct department in the right city.

It's worth noting that Doxo is a third-party site, and even the city I was paying taxes to does not recommend using it. They feel that it is a mimicking site, which is concerning. Additionally, they cannot guarantee that your payment will be received. Just because their bank is FDIC-insured does not mean that your payment is guaranteed to go through.

Overall, I would not recommend using Doxo for any payments. My experience was frustrating and time-consuming, and I would hate for anyone else to have to go through the same thing.

doxo Doxo Review: Poor Business Practice and Nightmare Experience with Online Payment Service

I recently used Doxo to pay my electric bill and it was a complete disaster. I received a confirmation that my bill would be paid by November 22nd, but to my surprise, in December I received a notice that my electric was going to be turned off due to non-payment. I was shocked and confused as I had already paid the bill through Doxo.

After several hours of trying to get in touch with someone from Doxo, I finally spoke to a representative who gave me no explanation as to why my bill was not paid even though the amount was deducted from my bank account along with their fee. As a result, I had to pay the electric company again, which means I am now out of pocket for the amount of the electric bill, plus a late fee, Doxo's fee, and the amount I had already paid to Doxo.

This is ridiculous and unacceptable. The representative from Doxo promised me a refund, which they said would be mailed to me within two weeks, but I have yet to receive it. This is poor business practice and I would highly discourage anyone from using this company.

Overall, my experience with Doxo was a complete nightmare and I would not recommend it to anyone. It is important to be cautious when using online payment services and to thoroughly research the company before entrusting them with your money.

doxo Scam Alert: My Experience with Doxo's Hidden Fees and Poor Customer Service

I gotta tell ya, this Doxo thing is a real doozy. I mean, I got an email saying that I wouldn't have to pay a fee if I paid my bill through them, but then I got charged $3.99 anyway! And now they want to charge me a fee on top of that fee? What kind of nonsense is that?

So I called them up, and let me tell you, it was like pulling teeth to get someone on the phone. Finally, I got Andrea, and she seemed nice enough. She even gave me her phone number in case we got disconnected! But then she asked me to email her my notice, and after I did, she put me on hold for like 25 minutes total. And then, of course, we got disconnected.

I've been trying to get in touch with them ever since, but it's like they don't even exist. I mean, I get it, they're a big company and all, but come on! You can't even get a human on the phone to help you out? That's just ridiculous.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend doing business with Doxo. They're a total scam, if you ask me. I just want these fees removed, and then I'm never dealing with them again. It's just not worth the hassle.

doxo Beware of DOXO: My Experience with Online Bill Payment Scam

So, I was trying to pay my utility bill online because the postal service failed to deliver my payment. I clicked on the utilities website, but it directed me to DOXO. I paid the bill, but they charged me $10 to forward the payment. I was not happy about that, let me tell you. At the end of it all, I couldn't find any evidence that the money I gave them with my credit card information would be applied to my utilities account number. And to make matters worse, it would take 5 days for the utility company to receive the payment, which meant it was late and I would have to pay a late fee. I called the utility company to find out what was going on, and they told me that they wouldn't receive the payment for 2-3 weeks! They also emphasized that they are not affiliated with DOXO and do not recommend using it to pay bills. I hate scammers with a passion, so be careful where you click!
