However, when the hinges arrived, they did not work properly on my cupboard.

I tried emailing Genny again and filling out the online forms for returns, but still received no response. I even left a message on their phone but got no answer back.

After waiting for 7 business days, I tried again and filled out the forms once more. But even after 4 days, I still did not receive any response. I was frustrated and decided to search for the company that sent me the hinges, DiscountHomeFurnishings, Inc. I found out that they operate as a "Work From Home" network, which is overseen by the Federal Trade Commission. I am now filing a complaint with them and the California Attorney General's office.

What's more, I paid over $115 for the hinges and cannot afford to lose that money. This is a scam outfit and people should be aware of it. It's disappointing that they have their website set up in a way that customers cannot make copies of their account information. I hope that others will stay away from this website and not fall victim to their scam.
