I have had the Verve card now for over 6 months. I have not received the promised doubles credit line, I have made every single payment on time even when I haven’t had access to their app, online mobile pay, or access to pay using the internet because their app never works for me! I have iPhone maybe that’s why? I’m unsure but, customer service is awful they only thing they know how to do is process payments and you will be charged a fee for making a payment! Verve looks at bad credit as a way for them to make money and capitolize on your weakness! They charge excessive fees for everything! $41 late fees when the industry average is $30, high interest again industry average is 11%-22% they are 29% annual fees that double the second year from $75,$99,$125 to potentially $225! Their interest is so high you’ll be paying much longer and much more over time then you would if you just got a secondary option like mission lane credit card! I would highly recommend mission lane they have everything you need in a bad credit card and their customer support is great! Just don’t get verve there is no good reason to! They shouldn’t be allowed to give you a card you have no access to checking monthly! Which I can’t. The only thing I can access is the payment portal to pay! I can’t see my balance, monthly statement, or to see if they have charged any additional fees because again I can’t access my statement! Customer service is so awful they can’t even tell you what your past payments have been! I haven’t missed a payment I know this because I can check my bank statement easily and see that payment coming out every single month when I have to process it because I haven’t even been able to set this up on auto pay, the customer support rep couldn’t set it up for me they didn’t know how, tried charging me an additional $10 to make a payment that they won’t waive for any reason even when you can’t access your account! It’s the worst card I have ever had and I will be get to rid of it the moment I’m able!

Desired outcome: Fix the app so at the very least I am able to keep track of my payments and balances!! Stop charging high fees for literally everything, consider reducing the yearly fees!
