I was contacted by Nicole Vick regarding a temp to perm Accounting Clerk position with TD Bank in Mount Laurel. Went through the entire vetting process and started March 7, only to discover that there is no such position or permanent jobs with TD, but a boring, repetitive job checking forms. There are people there from Kelly Services & Prime Staffing that were told the exact same thing! I should add that the job was a 2 hour commute from my home both ways. On March 9, my car broke down after work in TD's parking lot, keeping me there for 2 1/2 hours waiting for a tow. I could not get to work for the next 2 days and the following Monday because of parts (do not have rental coverage, had to cut my car insurance after being laid off). I was at the end of my unemployment anyway but applied for partial to cover the loss of pay. She told unemployment that I refused to work so they have blocked any and all payments until April 21! I have documentation for everything! Now she will not return my calls. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY - AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
