I am the victim of identity theft and has been fighting this for 2 years now. The Suspect has been determined and is known to the police department and now a multi state multi law enforcement task force in actively involved.
Just would like everyone to know. over 24 individuals has had their identity stolen and this god dam o Box service caters to on line identity thieves operating on the dark web.

What I find alarming is that they wont even answer a phone to alert this VIABOX that the identity thieves has placed a forwarding mail address changed from my residence to this ratchet po box company who knowingly and is fully aware of the fraud will turn a blind eye and not answer the phones or cooperate with LAW enforcement .

Look at where they are and read their highlighted services and its no surprise why identity thieves flocks to VIA BOX.

I buy 3 stuff from amazon which didn't ship to my country, so I have to find a service that they will receive package from the retailer and ship for me.
I found out viabox, and buy some from amazon to ship one address that viabox give for me.
After when they receive my item, I always receive email notice that my item is received,
When all my item coming, I visit viabox to ship all my item.
I can't believe in my eye,
I bought all my items with only $127, but the cost shipping they tell me, it is $430.
Omg!
It so #. and I think I don't need my items.
Forget it!.

When I first request the shipping the option to use aramex was available so I choosed it then I got a message from them saying that aramex doesn't ship liquids and I can ship it using TNT or USPS, so I requested them to use TNT and nothing happened since then. Everyday they are promising to ship the items but no action at all. I really need to find a way to force them to take an action but I feel hopeless with them.

Be very careful of viabox. They will not always provide you with receipts showing your purchase, only in their webpage can you see your item's details.

If you check BBB's website, which is an established consumer protection agency, viabox or Viaddress has a F rating. F being the lowest from A to F.
"BBB file experience shows a pattern of complaints alleging that the firm did not deliver the packages as agreed"
This is also what ive experienced, in that they lost a costly item, but refuse to provide a refund in a reasonable time.

Since I cant write the website, google search "viabox FAA" for the link for the story below:
"$70, 020 civil penalty against Viabox of Elkhart, Ind. The FAA alleges that on July 19, 2014, Viabox offered two containers containing flammable aerosol automotive products to FedEx for shipment by air to Montreal, Canada. FedEx employees discovered the aerosol cans and notified the FAA."
"Viabox did not respond to the FAA’s notice of proposed civil penalty within the required 30 days. The FAA has issued a final notice to Viabox. In response to the final notice, Viabox may pay the amount proposed, pay an agreed-upon amount, or request a hearing."

Google search terms: "VIAddress wsbt"
"Elkhart company under investigation after complaints filed from around the world"
"According to the attorney general's office, they have received complaints from all over the world, including Canada, Russia, Australia, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. The Better Business Bureau has 45 complaints on file and in just four months the Elkhart County Sheriff's office has received 180 complaints."

Again, lack of prompt and proper response to serious matters and lax business standards and employees. Be prepared to spend months settling an issue with them. Also be prepared to handle vague responses and blame shifting. Be suspect of those 5 star reviews, when the FACTS show otherwise.

They were previously called viadress, probably changed their name to avoid people finding out about their previous horrendous reputation.
Its also likely for small amount of items, say 1-3, with a small weight, has less chance of being "lost", than bigger quantities and bigger weights. Someone may make it "lost", then process to get refund takes months, so its likely customer becomes tired of this "refund" process, and never gets his "refund" back.

Anyone needing help with any problems with viabox, contact:

I've been using them long since they had viaddress branding on [protected], they always had the shady behavior of quoting higher shipping rates on a technicality between billable dimensions/weight, never honestly mentioning their profit margin, forcing multiple shipments thereby paying a huge base on each package, and generally being difficult when it comes to consolidation stating theirs is a free service. However, when it comes down to the end... with patience... they HAVE always worked with me to give pics of items that come in, discard unneeded items, and even actually ship the packages to my home all the way in India. I don't know if they have changed since their re-branding, but I do have a large shipment on stand by with items coming in from amazon and walmart. Will let you guys know how it goes. Seriously though, they are DIFFICULT, but wouldn't call them a scam.

I am a frequent online buyer, especially US websites such as Amazon, Ebay, Walmart etc. Lately I have been using several shipping addresses in the US, lately I searched for a new shipping company that I could ship my stuff to then to my home country, Qatar. I found viabox as an option, I subscribed and started shipping to the address they provided to me. I purchased 7 items from different sources and have them shipped to viabox, I placed my order to viabox and paid the shipping cost to Qatar through Aramex . It showed me that I would receive my shipment between 3 to 7 days . Now 10 days have already passed and whenever I check the order status, its still gives me processing . I sent many messages and emails to viabox to inquire about my shipment but unfortunately no response so far .

Viabox, Viaddress out of Indiana and Simple Shipments in Delaware are all the same company and are a fraud. According to the business license departments in each of the county their offices or warehouses in they do not have a business license. In fact we contacted Brandy Wine Real estate in Delaware who own the Wilmington building listed by Simple Shipments as their office. Brandy Wine confirms they have never leased space from them in that building. Unfortunately its not just users who get scammed. They will hire employees as work from home employees and offer then a monthly salary of $2400 a month plus $15.00 for every package you process. Once hired the employees address is given to multiple user as their personal address and the employee processes hundreds of packages and then when the month this up they do not get paid. When they complain and ask what happened they are told this sometimes happens but will be fixed. They have to call their supervisor or someone posing as the supervisor and then the payroll/HR person and are told each time your direct deposit will happen on a date. the date comes and goes and nothing. Then they stop sending you packages and tell you well we don't want you to have to work until we get you your check. Then no more contact. How do we know this it happened to us we are still waiting for the $3800 they owe. We had to report them to the FBI, the Federal Fraud unit and to local law enforcement. Why? because what has happened in the past is the unsuspecting employee gets arrested for fraud and theft. We are working with several sources to get these sites shut down as they may be operated outside the US.

Please everyone, for your own sake, never use the service of VIABOX. They are fraudulent company. I have no idea where to begin. I'm destroyed by these criminals. They took my stuff and my money for shipment and it's the same situation as the one above. I will write something meaningful later because right now, I'm mad at myself by using this company. I wish they can shut down that damn company. People are losing money. These people are criminals, so please stay away from them.

I just registered on Viabox for few weeks ago, and I found out that all people that was writing good things about them was VIABOX members, everything bad was real people.

I will tell you with total honesty as if you were my brother, sister, dad or mom.

Do NOT use Viabox at ALL COST, don't go through the same **** I had to go through, I lost my packages that cost me 1500 dollars. What I mean by lost, is that they never send me the package, and they always response with "We are sorry, We apologize". and all that ****.

You can't do anything, they don't have number, you can only write to them, and they respond after few days, you can easily write to them 14 linies, and they reply with one single line, we are sorry.

DO NOT USE THEM AT ALL COST! or you will make the worst mistake in your life!

They will steal your stuff, steal your money.

If I visit US, I will go to the company, and slap every single employee, I will teach them how to respect people, and not steal from us.
