Tennessee Painting Crew, Rent a Painter, Local Painter, Next Day Painter review: Scam 1

DO NOT USE. This guy Travis is a scam. [protected]. I am a contractor myself and hired this company to do an interior job. Spoke with him the night before and decided on 3 painters for 8 hours for 600 bucks. Seemed reasonable. Travis says they will call you at 8:30 in the morning. 9 rolls around and no call. I call the office, Samantha answers and says Travis will call me shortly. 40 mins later, I'm calling the office again to be told that she will have Travis call asap. 10:30 and I get a call from Brian the painter. No call from Travis. Brian tells me it's his day off and Travis didn't inform him of the job until 9:30 and it's just him and his helper. So now I have 2 painters. Get an email invoice from Travis for 600 and I informed him that I am not paying that. He corrects the invoice after stating that I told him there was 3 painters. His company, not mine. Something he should know. Continue to be barraged by this man about making a payment and inform him that I will not pay until the work is finished. That's when it all went south. This man has the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. I got cussed out, myself and my business threatened, told he will shut down my business name online in a week bc he has amazing marketers. Called a fa****, c***sucker, punk b****, all bc this man thought I wasn't going to pay. All the while, his painter Brian is telling me that he's never met this guy and he was told by Travis to tell me he's worked for him for 3 years and Brian even showed me a text from Travis saying "don't give him any of my info". I will be filing harassment charges against this man and company. The previous statements in this column are 100% true and accurate, and no they are not the competition. Competition doesn't have to put you down in a forum, they do the work right the first time and treat customers with respect. He has changed his company name numerous times to avoid detection. He's not licensed, not insured, not bonded, and is the reason is legit contractors have a bad rep. Stay away from this company if you want to avoid a headache and if you want the job done right. I've never seen a company take 8 hours to paint 1 room and tape a ceiling. I guess the 4 1 hour breaks account for that. The whole thing is a scam and now I have to clean up their mess. I don't know if it will let me post the photos of the texts due to vulgar language but I'm at least going to try. People need to know
