Inappropriate and false response to homeowner complaint
Atrium failed to communicate with landscape contractor after it caused damage to homeowner's garden. Atrium misrepresented problem to Board and it took 4 months to resolve. Atrium failed to request contractor to resolve issue in timely manner and attempted to deflect responsibility to homeowner.
Atrium management provided inaccurate and inappropriate response to homeowner's request for problem resolution; Board instructed landscaping contactor to contact homeowner to rectify problem and apologized for delay in response caused by Atrium.
In May 2023 Tynic Landsaping Services, caused damage to homeowner's front garden, witnessed by homeowner. Atrium Prop. Serv. failed to respond in timely manner, having hired the contactor, attempted to deflect blame to homeowner and delayed Board resolution of issue. Board finally requested contractor to contact homeowner in October and offer correction, repair and re-planting in damaqed area in front of property.
Atrium forwarded 2 letters that misrepresented the problem and failed to take responsibility for actions of contractor it had hired. Only after Board was presented with in-person documentation after original e=mailed documentation was ignored, was the issue addressed by Tynic Landscaping, who apologized and offfered to re-plant the garden areas their employee destroyed.
Non Payment
The owner of Atrium Property Services in Southwick, MA (Jeff) sent employees out to do repairs and instructed them to return by a certain time since they were using a rented truck. The employees damaged items on the property with a sledge hammer despite the owner of the property telling them not to use a sledge hammer on an item that can be inserted back into the ground with just a push a foot. The owner of the company was notified of the incident and never responded. An invoice was sent stating that Jeff is responsible for replacing the damaged items (exact same items bought at the same store) was sent to him, with a notice that for every 30 days of non-payment there would be interest added on. I am now up to 90-days overdue of non-payment, and the owner of the company, Atrium Property Services, has still not responded to this incident.
Anyone even thinking of doing business with this company, beware! To treat a customer like this is unthinkable and I would suggest you do business elsewhere since there is plenty of competition.
