National Assemblers is a piece work contractor who deals with Walmart in New England. For each bike grill or piece of furniture a set price is paid. In the first week of Aug myself and supervisor took a road trip to every Walmart in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont to do a product recall on the Next power X bikes.

Our job was to replace the chains on certain bikes with a specific upc code once the chain was replaced we were to change out the upc code stickers. The set price was 10 per bike fixed and $8 per hour of drive time and .55 cents a mile driven. National Assemblers refused to pay us our pay for 1, 800 miles and the 60 bikes we did the chains on and the 40 or so hours of drive time. There are 56 stores in our region and we did this trip in 6 days.

We felt we were doing ourselves a favor by pushing hard to get this done and make National Assemblers look good. Well I got my direct deposit on Friday for our trip and it was a mere 346 bucks. I have never been real great at math but this doesn’t add up and if you try to talk to National Assemblers they refuse to answer anything you ask.

This applications asks for social security number, and drivers license number and expiration date. I feel this has to do with identity theft and maybe linked to some sort of terrorism. I believe homeland security should investigate this company, and all companies of this nature.

I've worked for the company for 2 years, and I've never not been paid for something I assembled or repaired. It's hard to imagine, based on my experiences with the company that there is no one you could have talked to in order to resolve the situation.

How can you comment that your pay doesn't add up without looking at your check stub and report from the website that has a breakdown of every item you assembled or chain you replaced? I hardly believe you tried to call and no one had answered. Please do not give a bad review due to your own negligence?

I have worked for national assemblers Inc for three years now and have never been underpaid or lied to about my pay. I can access any and all my paychecks and also see exactly what my next paycheck is going to be. I even have access to view a detailed list of items I'm being paid for and how much each item pays. This is the best company ive ever worked for. I feel as if I have a personal friendship with most of the staff. It's a shame that anyone feels negative about a company who strives to be the best and provide quality assemblers with quality results.
