kirkland cat food
Saturday, October 31st, my husband and I decided to try the Kirkland brand of cat food. We have a few older cats and a few kittens. All had no issues. They seemed to like the new cat food, but Sunday morning, the vomiting and diarrhea started. It has been non-stop. Today, one of our kittens died. She was fine before we started the new food. I have no idea if it's the food and am unsure how to find out. I am assuming its the food, because before they ate it, they were fine. They have all been affected by it. I need to know how to find out if it indeed the food. I have checked to see if there was a recall on it, but found nothing!

When I entered Clackamas, Oregon Costco warehouse the carts were wet because of the rain. As I was lining up to enter, the lady employee on the front door was wiping the cart of the customer handle with a towel. She did wipe the customer cart in front of me and the customer behind me but skip me completely. Since the cart handle was wet and cold I asked if...

My father recently had surgery and had asked that I go to Costco to pick some things up for him while we were in Twin Falls. With his card in hand, the card registered to the same address as my driver's license, the cashier refused to check us out. She stated that he would need to come in to the store, so after explaining and giving him a call to provide...

I am writing this about a friend of mine because she won't do it. About 2 years ago a married female employee on the front desk (in charge of membership) at your Ft. Oglethorpe, GA store threatened her and told her she had better not ever come back in the store as long as she was there. She then immediately moved to the pharmacy where she works today. The reason for her threatening my friend is unbelievable. My friend lost her membership for the year, and refuses to ever trade with Costco again. If you will contact me I will tell you the story and give you her name. What kind of employees do you hire that would bully a customer and cause them to never trade with Costco again?
There is no content here. Customers can be banned from stores and there is no way based on this thin description to know what the issue was. There is no description of the alleged incident here. Your friend should write her own complaint, and provide details. But this is two years old now, and probably can't be pursued.
they will screw you!
On Monday, 10/12/15, a Costco employee named Richard struck my car with a shopping cart. I saw him do it, showed him the damage, and he refused to even apologize! To make matters worse, despite company policy, he wasn't wearing a name badge and he gave me a false name when I asked him. After speaking with the manager Renee, I discovered his real name and...

I have been an executive member for a few years. I met an absolutely impolite cashier (according to the receipt, her name is jennifer k.) on the morning (09:19 am) of 09/19/2015 at the costco in san francisco, ca. after I swiped my credit card to pay for my items. she held onto my membership card. below are the dialogue between the cashier and i. cashier...

I purchased 4 tires and got a road hazard warranty. I recently picked up a nail in one tire and it went flat. The tires have 33K miles and about 6/32 tread depth. I was told that they couldn't fix the flat. I took it to Sam's Club and they fixed it fine. I was also told that since I was 2 months beyond the 5 year limit on the road-hazard warranty, I was out of luck. Yes I had about 40% of my tread left, but too bad for you. So, I am considering going somewhere else for tires (SAMS CLUB!) and NOT renewing my Costco membership,

On Sept 13/2015 @ 4 pm I visited Costco store #532 in Boucherville Quebec with a friend and when we got to the cash register we asked for a sub total as my friend (also a member) had forgotten her card so we used mine... she gave me her cash for her portion and i wanted to put my portion on my credit card, I gave her money to the cashier and handed her my credit card for the balance, she refused the cash because she said that I, being the member, had to pay for the bill in full...really? what's the difference ? I was paying some cash and some on my credit card...why should i put extra on my credit card when i had some cash in my hands?
Very upset about this ! It's not normal that we cannot pay in cash!
The manager of the cashiers at that moment actually gave us attitude because he believed that my friend should have her own card (which she does, but had forgotten it) basically taking us for liars because we told him she had forgotten her card. This is unacceptable especially since it was being paid partly in cash.
tire shop srevice
I bought tires in Costco (14585 biscayne blvd, north Miami) about 6 month ago. When I came to pick up the car, my remote key didn't work. I was able to start the car manually and upon arrival to my house I opened the key and realized that the battery was put in the wrong way.
I thought they must have dropped it and battery fell out, so I didn't pay much attention to it.
The remote ever since wasn't working properly.
Today I went in to check my tire pressure and watched how one employee pulled in some customer's SUV for service. He came out of the car, walked away, turned around and standing about 7 feet away from the car he thew the set of keys on top of it.
They landed on the sunroof, slid off and fell on the floor on the other side. The other employee laughed at him, picked up the keys and threw them back at the first employee and he never cought them, keys fell on the floor again. So now I can tell you that problem with my key wasn't an accident, it was irresponsible employees having fun and playing basketball with customers property.
credit card blocked
I was shopping at the Marlboro, NJ store #1093 and the cashier told me that my Amex card was blocked. So they sent me to their tire center to find out why and after 15 minutes they found out my card was blocked from the tire center in Hazlet, NJ store #222 location. They told me I have to go back to Hazlet to resolve the problem. Then I head right over to...

We went to Costco today and used my wife's membership card. I haven't added myself yet.i was with kids and paying using my American express. Wife had to go to doctors appointment and I was with 22 months and 5 years. Yes, I know I had to use her card while she stepped away. My problem was the way they replied. I am now even questioning my wife's membership and thinking about cancelling.

The last few times I have been into the store and needed to have something written on a cake there is never a decorator on schedule. I should rephrase that, from the words of the co-employee. "They were scheduled to work but they write their own schedule. They come in & leave when they want and it is not fair for the rest of us. It doesn't set a good example for the other employees" So I am officially complaining for the employee who feels that they couldn't or did and nothing is ever done about it.
customer service
After being a loyal customer of costco for so many years my recent visit was a terrible one.
I crossed the border and drove for more then an hour from buffalo to st catherine only to find out the information provided to me on the phone by the warehouse was wrong.
Before i started my drive i called in the warehouse and inquired about the product 814814 if they had in stock and how much is the cost. I was told they had 248 in stock and cost is $49.99.
I was happy as i needed 20 of them and before i tried calling in rochester location only to find out they had none.
Since st catherine had in stock and the price was still the same when i bought it first time around i drove for an hour not including the wait time at the border to find out that the sale has ended and now it is 69.99.
How can they make such a blunder in telling the price. Dont the people working on the front desk be trained enough to know the price of the product. After having a long discussion with the supervisor judy and then the manager we had to come empty handed as they did not believed what i was saying. I even told them the exact number that you have 248 in stock which matched on the screen when she checked herself.
I was not happy at all as i could not buy that product and had to drive back without the product.
Please feel free to contact me at [protected]@yahoo.com or call me at [protected] if you have any other qyestions.
All this hapened on 3 august 2015 around 8 pm and i called around 6 pm to make sure about the price and quantity.
Thanks

cheated
I often purchase the Strawberry Sundae at Costco. It costs $1.74 and that includes tax. The last 2 times I purchased the Sundae I felt I was cheated. The worker ran the ice cream around the inside edges of the cup. The entire middle of the cup was hollow. The cup should have contained almost double the amount of ice cream that I received. Today I complained and I was told that this is how the worker was told to make the Sundae. How cheap is that? I am very disappointed by this. Sylvia Frantz

Around noon today, I shopped around in Costco with my friends. When lining up for checking out, I forgot putting the divider between my purchased from my previous customer, the cashier, whose name tag was flipped over, told me what I should do with very rude attitude, almost like scolding. What's more, during the check out time--I only bought 5 items, she...

I have been a customer of Costco for 8 years and I have not had such an experience ever. In the entire 8 years we have returned 7 products. We are always careful about what we buy so we don’t have to return things. My husband purchased 4% Cottage Cheese instead of 2% and we immediately went back to return it and the customer service lady that we interacted with was super rude and spoke like we had nothing better to do but to return products. Not only did she make us feel small about returning the item but she was so loud that everyone in that area could hear that we were returning Cottage Cheese. She is always rude even when we have gone for membership renewal. To me it seems like she is not tolerant to other diversity/culture. It would be good to get the employees some real customer service training. There is a way to express things and for the amount of products that go bad and gets thrown out, she sure acted like the entire Costco business was going user because we returned Cottage Cheese.
Right away...the woman is not ';tolerant'. I think Americans are SO tolerant we have allowed our country to be destroyed. What kind of top-notch customer service did you get in your own country before coming to mine?! Yep[...they will train the "offensive" employee until she breaks down & has no instinct for self-preservation; no mind of her own anymore...if she wants to keep her job. God bless America...
rude customer service/cashier
This complaint/review is for the customer service that I had received in this location of Costco. (Sunnyvale, CA- Location)
I have been a customer for over 20 years and in that time, I can definitely tell you that I've never had any complaints or issues with their customer service. However, things have changed in the decade or so. This time my experience is with the same cashier. Her name is Cristita L (or so it says on my receipt), she's an elder woman (ages of 50s-60s) and is asian or some sort of asian ethnicity. I've come into contact with her a few times while she was ringing me up and has always had a rude tone.
I have seen her being this way with other customers in the times that I came to shop here but luckily did not have her as a cashier. She would give people an attitude and give a snotty tone. It's such a disrespect!
In my last encounter with her, I was shopping with my daughters, she would ask me certain things like: is this transaction together or separate, before I had a chance to answer her, she asked again but raised her voice at me. On top of that while she was ringing up an item she asked: How much is this? I told her, I didn't know and then she went and said well you should know the price of it! That was very uncalled for with her voice raised again and snobbish tone. Why not just call or have a price check, why give me an attitude? I have had this types of issues with her before where she seems to hate her job and on top of that possibly even hate the people that she is servicing.
This is the only Costco and the only cashier/employee that I have had any type of issues with in my 20 years of being a member. I urge anyone that shops there to beware of this bitter elder cashier as she does not even try to be nice to her customers and even adds insult to injury.
I will avoid this Costco location for good! I have never experienced such a disrespect from any other of the 3 Costcos I have shopped at: San Jose, Santa Clara (this being the newest), and Mountain View.
I hope that management will do something about this lady and at least give her a pep talk of some sort. Thank you for reading!

There is a concession stand worker at the Louisville Costco location that has the most rotten disposition! Costco employees are generally kind, sincere, and helpful. This employee, Taylor, who I've never seen before, doesn't even greet me. She doesn't say thank you. In fact, I don't think she said one word to me! Not what Costco is usually known for. I pay a mbrship and this is how I'm treated...Taylor, wake up
kirkland batteries leak
Kirkland batteries leak...in fact, eventually they all leak! Aa are worse offenders. I have been purchasing and using them since 2002. Why not use another brand? Duracells are more expensive and no better! All batteries constructed in china leak, period. Today, it is all about making things as cheap as possible to maximize profits and more money for the ceo, then wrap it in glamorous packaging with slick marketing. We are living in a sea of crappy products, and corporations are under no obligation or government control to do anything different. How long do batteries last now with led's? Less than they did before with incandescent bulbs, because the issue isn't the wattage used anymore, it's that the batteries won't last as long as a higher quality battery made in the 1960-70-80's. Their quality was a response by the battery industry to sell just as much - or more - volume batteries as before the led revolution, by lowering their standards to keep you buying just as many. Do you really think they would lose millions knowing you won't be buying as many? They are made to leak after just few weeks to few months when they should last years using led's. There is your answer. And they don't care, and they aren't going to change because of some consumer advocate's complaint.

rude cashier
I have been with costco for 1 year. I know it's not a lot but still me and my husband we loved costco and didn't think to go somewhere else. Today, right before easter (Tomorrow is sunday) I took off one hour from work to go to costco and buy a piece of fish! That's it. When I got to the cashier, he informed me that my membership was expired 2 days ago. He asked me if I wanted to renew. I said "yes, of course!" I didn't realize I had only $60 with me and all my credit cards. And no, I do not have an amex card. The total price with membership was more than $60 of course. I told them to take off the membership so that I pay for my fish and I will go to the customer service and renew my membership using my visa. No. I was told I could not make the purchase without the renewal first.! They did not give me absolutely no other option than to turn back and go without my fish. It's ridiculous! The way they treat their customers is incredible! We have a business membership with them which I definitely will not renew, because they do not make absolutely any effort to help me get a hilarious piece of fish for easter! I am deeply disappointed, and I am not stating that I was right. I simply didn't know when my card expired and I just had to run and pick up one item for an easter dinner. I think the way they treat people in these kinds of situations is inhumane and definitely not deserving our money. Seriously, I was just talking to my husband the other day that we should switch our insurance for 3 cars to costco. After this treatment, no thank you!

There is no question that Costco is now involved in politics. It only allows Falun Gong to sell tickets under the guise of culture but of course allows no other organization that same opportunity. When questioned, they say if you do not like it give up your membership.
I experienced a similar situation. I had done the tour, and could only settle on a shrimp salad item. I get to the register, and a nice cashier informed me that, I 'may' be able to have the item '99ed' by the manager, who was totally enthralled in a conversation with a customer. The cashier said she (the manager) may do it if we didnt interrupt the conversation. We waited patiently. The manager finally came over and rudely said, 'no' and that I can pay for the membership and then get the shrimp salad. It is not what was said, but how it was said. I was caught off guard by the rudeness and declined both the membership and the shrimp. While I and my husband were passing by the manager as she took the item to be reshelved, my husband suggested we get the membership. I at that moment heard the same manager and a cashier laugh and say, 'guess he couldn't afford a membership and shrimp!' I refused to consider a membership and walked out. Something should be done about the service at thzt location.
You can not shop at Costco without a membership. All he was saying is you had no membership so you could not buy the product.
He did nothing wrong
Giving your money back does make it all okay.
