I am very disappointed by the service offered by Airtel and the worst is that no body is there to listen, all gives you the false statements.

I took my postpaid connection (9810374456) three month back. last month My phone got disconnected with out any prior notice. I talked to customer service guys they told me that it was due to some technical problem and they were forwarding my problem to technical department and within 4 hrs my connection will be restored. But even after 10 days I didn't heard anything from them. Meanwhile I talked to customer care guys for few more times and all the time they gave same false reason. Finally I went to One of there franchise at East of kailash. The staff were so irresponsible there that for half an hrs they didn't listen my problem and when I shouted on them one of them came and finally listen my problem. There I came to know that I have crossed my credit limit, which was actually a new thing for me because this basic thing was not told by there executive who come to start my new connection. They told me that pay the bill amount and connection will be restore within 4 hrs. Anyhow I paid the full bill amount and it has been more than a week since I paid the bill my connection is still not connected. I talked to customer care yesterday at 6 pm to ABHISHEK there Customer care guy he also told me that my connection will be restore with in 4 hrs which is eventually still not connected. This is the worst king of service offered by AIRTEL, now I am already took new connection of reliance and no more interested in AIRTEL.

My (mobile phone) outgoing was blocked without informing me.the i made call to customer care and they told to submit idproof with passport size photo.i submitted to airtel office (gypsy) at r.s.puram cbe.they told the og will be released in 2 days,but no i went for third day and asked they told it will be release in24hrs and yet i gave another copy idproof with passport size on seeing their idiotic faces.but then also no response,i gone with 6th day and they told they don't had forms and they submitted yesterday only,and the manager was giggling with the workers and he told it will be released in 2hrs but not yet.past 1week i am got able to make a call or send an sms.then what is the purpose of having a mobile phone??? The worst and ever worst service by airtel

I've never experienced such a poor quality service earlier. I’ve got pune airtel pre paid. M on roaming to mumbai. Airtel is sick. 121 never helps. Airtel local toll free no. never gets connected. While roaming there is no number ask any query. Anytime airtel prepaid plan switches over to some other plan. Peole in airtel gallery r rude. Do not know why airtel service is getting so poor.

Airtel is the worst service provider in Pune I've ever seen. Even if you'll go under shadow of any tree.. you need to search for place where you can hear the clear voice. Its the case while you are on the road in open space.. Just think what could be the case when you are home.. its really worst than that. I truly agree that Airtel is the worst service provider in Pune.

Sub: Irresponsible with the customer

Connection was disconnected as the verification was not done properly. For residence address verification the person has to visit customer place cross checking if the customer is available in the residence . They have return in the feedback saying that the customer is not given the address. Where as I myself have given the address, employee number, alternate contact number etc.

Over that the Airtel executive is making fun of the customer. They have not been responsible to check what is gone wrong and make the corrective action.

I have taken new connection from airtel. from ghatkopar air tel gallery. At the time of giving new connection they say all service will given to you at your phone and at this gallery. But after taking connection i want to activate mobile office service on my phone, but i have contacted ghatkopar gallery two times first on 18/04/07, mr. piyush told me to do sms to a no. I did and received confirmation from air tel that it will activated with in four hours. In morning i received sms that it has been activated. But i am unable to use on my phone. So i contacted gallery again on 19/04/07 by 3.40pm. I complaint that i have received sms but i am not able to use the service. Mr. piyush from ghatkopar told some settings has to be done on my phone. I am busy i will look after 1 hours. You please wait. I waited their for an hour he was not ready to listen to me. Then i contacted miss. jaya head in charge she was playing game on the p/c. But was not able here me. She just told that we are not having engineers who can make setting on the phone. You have to go prabhadevi gallery. I am asking is this is the service after waiting for an hour you get this answer. And for small settings you have to go 10 km away. I grade it as worst service.

I am intended to use this harsh language. The worst mobile service I have ever seen, & now I am feeling that opting Airtel was a very wrong decision, specially it's customer care is like hell, instead of solving my problem they even stop voice communication saying a lie that I may have called more than 5 times a day and suggested me not to call till 30 days & moreover not to send sms or any kind of communication with them. My problem was that I want to activate Airtel Live and it does not activate till a week. Three times they told me that this will be activated within 24hrs, but I got only their gruesomeness as a result. Now I am trying change my connection & I will suggest many others not to opt this hell.

I am using Post Paid connection from Airtel (9910034466) for more than six months now.

1. on 03 May 07, I gave a request to activate ISD on my number at their Dwarka Office. I deposited a cheque for Rs 1500.00 on 04 May 2007. for some time my ISD was activated and suddenly after two days, it was deactivated. I contacted airtel office on 09 May 2007. I was told that 05 May 2007 being saturday, cheque could not be deposited since banks were closed!

2. Again on 04 June 2007, I gave a request to activate International Roaming on my mobile. this time, I paid using my Credit Card due to the previous experience with cheque! however, when i inquired from 121 on 05 jun2007, i was told that though security deposit has been made, international roaming is not activated because there was no request for it! they think I am nuts depositing all that money without needing any services!! On top of it, I have been told that the international roaming will now be activated by 0700 Hrs on 06 June 2007!

Is there any limits to the pranks played by Airtel on unsuspecting users?

There is a big problem of signal of mobile phones at our home(1180,phase 10,mohali)... We have already complained many times to airtel customer care and have personally gone to airtel to post a complaint...

But still no action have been taken up... Airtel members just say that problem will be solved... But nothing had been done since 3 months... We have so much low signal at our home that we have to rush to our home backside immediately to listen any call... We have at least 3 mobile connections all of airtel and each have signal problem...

I am an Aitel DSL subscriber for past one year at Ludhiana (Punjab). It costs Rs.399+Taxes per month and gives an unlimited usage and a speed of 64 kbps (shared).

It included a parallel basic telephone connection. The cost included caller id charges. Now the co. all of a sudden has ordered subscribers to pay Rs.25+Taxes per month as caller id charges, which are already included in tariff and which all are already paying or face deactivation of caller id facility.

This is autocratic attitude of the company . The company cannot charge twice for one service.

Bharti was born and blossomed during bygone monopolistic era .But what the Bharti is are forgetting is we are no more living in monopolistic era. If they continue to harass their subscribers then subscribers may go to consumer court to seek justice or they may discontinue their subscription ant seek connection from any one of half a dozen of other service providers. They must mend their ways and should not stoop so low in the greed for Quick Money.

Look what Rs 25 per connection means to Bharti. Suppose they have 10 lac subscribers then it means it will make them richer by Rs.2.5 crore every month. They think nobody would mind giving Rs. 25/- more per month(it is Peanuts!) and in the process they are going to get richer by Rs.2.5 crore every month.

But if Bharti think Rs.25/- is peanut then it should reduce monthly subscription by Rs.25/- per month.

I pray they good sense may prevail upon them and the take back their dictatorial order.

I was using AirTel Prepaid for the Last one year, on 2nd of July 2007 I've applied for a PostPaid connection even though I had over one month Validity. The AirTelguys came for verification to my place two Days later and told that the PostPaid will activate the next day i.e, on 7th of July 2007. On the 13th of July 2007 My Prepaid connection got disconnected then I thought that the PostPaid might have Activated, but it didn't. On 16th July I went to AirTel Relation Center at Vashi to inquire about it. A guy named Hussain told me there that it will take 8 more hours to get activate. But it didn't happened till now. Today i.e, on 21st July 2007 I went to AirTel Relation Center Vashi to inquire about it but was surprised by the behavior of the guys there, the Supervisor Sanjay was not in the mood to talk to me first when I insisted that I need to talk him. I explained him that I shifted from AirTel Prepaid to PostPaid but the it didn't happened and also my prepaid Connection is not working. The guys at Relation Center were very Rude to me and when I told them that how can u people be so rude to their customers then in reply they told me to change my service simply if I didn't like it. If this is the Response from a Supervisor then what service we can expect from AirTel. They have to take complaints seriously, if they are not bothered about the customer then why U have a Relation Center.

Beware of packs and offers provided by AIRTEL, even if you do not subscribe to them. Because they may change your pack (even in prepaid) without ASKING YOU!

I recharged with RC 24 in my prepaid connection (which is STD night pack) which is supposed to be valid for 30 days. But just one day after i received an sms from airtel "make calls to any number for 2 min and get other 2 min free". They never asked me if i wanted this scheme or not. My pack (rc 24) had been deactivated by company server in just one day without asking me. So for the opaqueness of company policies & fraudulent practices.

After great deal of effort, I called customer care and i was informed that server had selected my number (lottery system) for this special scheme: so they activated "2 min" special plan. Since only one plan can be active at one time, my earlier pack was deactivated without asking. I asked them why did they not consult me before applying for lottery and the CUSTOMER CARE prudently declared that you must have received call from us and accidentally pressed some number (saying yes). To the best of my knowledge, and i have previous call history and sms to support my evidence, nothing of this sort happened.

I asked customer care to register my complaint and have called them several times. Each time I would get a different answer. One operator said that we would revert your old pack in 24 hrs, other 48 hrs. And one day they told there was no such complaint in our database.

I questioned customer care if they have policy of giving complain numbers to customer? And they have any Quality policy /process? Apparently there is no way to track your complaints. He said that you just give your number and explain your complaint(no complaint no thing) and they " mark" it for their support and DO NOT register any complaint.

Finally I asked them to lodge a complaint against customer support function of AIRTEL. He plainly refused. I asked if he was aware that this call may be recorded. He said "yes". "If you want to make a complaint, go to our okhla center and that center does not have any number"

I would like to ask how can we trust The company:

1. Which does not even have a single phone in its office;
2. Which does not have a single helpline no where we can register and track our complaint;
3. Which does not have the mechanism to bill even the simple prepaid cases properly and correctly;
4. Which does not have a customer grievance cell (i tried 9810198101 123 ).

There is no quality policy of this company!!

I have submitted my id proof 2 times.. One with my dealer one in Mumbai central gallery.. Now they asking to submit my id proofs. Once more... And also disconnected my connection....
now i am trying to close my connection. I have never seen like this servicer...

Try to take an action against the galleries (Mumbai central)... and also confirm their services...

I've an Airtel # on postpaid basis, usage of which is minimal. Airtel barred its incoming n outgoing without informing me. Airtel has an alternate # of mine with them, wherein they keep calling me for promotional offers, but when it calming to barring the call, they did it without informing me either on alternate #or mail(e-mail or snail).

On calling up the customer care, they asked me to provide a complaint letter to the dealer mentioning the details but no resolution to the problem. All they told me was to avail the minimum usage of the #. On asking, how would they define the minimum usage, they had no answer to it.

Pure Customer Harassment!! Bad Customer Services!!

My Airtel mobile No. is 9903675353 (lifetime). My Phone model is Nokia 5300 with wap facility. On 22-10-07 I recharged with topup card for Rs.100/- and also recharged with Rs.104-/- for Internet. Today morning I find that my mobile is showing Rs.0.00 balance. I phoned at 121. One Sugata Barman informed me that I had downloaded songs in my mobile. That fellow simply lied because my does not have song download facility. I downloaded four mobile ebooks direct from www.poointten.com/wap which are free. I asked for explanation as to how my balance came to zero.That fellow could not give any satisfactory answer. This Airtel has opened Customer Care Centre but they are least bothered to care for customers. I suspect they are stealing money surreptitiously from my balance. It is unique. I have gone through several forums and found similar complaints. Now I want to know what steps we aggrieved customers should take recourse to for readressal. Those Customer Care people are so callous that their replies are inconsistent and self-contradictory each time I dial 121. Now, who can tell me the fate of my amount of Rs.204/- that this AIRTEL juggled out of me just within two days and a half. Had the Indian corporates been honest to some extent, it would have been nice and I did not have to read through scores of complaints against inferior services of AIRTEL in the Complaints Board. Waiting for reply soon and see that Saugata Burman who was on duty on 25-10-07 at 12.14 pm at Customer Care 121 is brought to book for hoodwinking customers with ambiguous replies.
