Booked a birthday party for 20 kids and 10 adults for the 22.00 per child pkg. Pkg.
I was under the impression for the 449.00 bill that included drinks and pizza for adults also, no! The adults received nothing but a reserved seat. I ended up having 18 kids show the birthday boy was free and we received 4 medium 1 topping pizzas for 18 kids. Chucked came out stood on the dance floor for long enough to take pictures with the 4 bday kids and went to the back. The ticket Booth for the birthday kid had 12 tickets flying around in it, half the games weren't working.
My children grew up having their parties at chuck e chz and I never had a complaint and the kids and parents always had a great time.
My 4yr old grandson (bday boy) wanted to eat cake, open gifts and see the mouse and go home!

I ordered a small pizza first it took about 20 minutes to get and when my buzzer went off I went to go grab the pizza there was one container that was closed and one pizza that was open there was nobody there and I was waiting for five minutes so I took the pizza that was open I didn't wanna open the clothes container I started eating one slice and the girl came over and said that I took the wrong order and I told her had there been somebody working the counter I would not have taken the wrong order she went back and then came back and took it from me which I thought was very rude so she's going to throw away a pizza that was not my fault because nobody was at the window to hand me my food very bad customer service
Desired outcome: Free pizza and card play abs maybe i will come back with my 4 kids.

a 30 minute card
We buy 2 cards 30 minutes each, we use one and one then when the time finish on the first one we try to use the other card and we couldn't. We went to the cashier to fix the problem and the say that we pass the card when we know we didn't used. I'm mad because we just use one when the other card was in my purse. I'm not going again to this location. It was my favorite. Not anymore . I want my money back.

Not enough staff at all. When I arrived no one was available to help bring in stuff from the car. The lady at the register said staff would arrive at 1pm. So I had to go in and out about 5 times in 108 degree weather. I arrived 12:20pm and my party was at 1pm so there was no way I would wait for staff to arrive at my party time. There was one lady helping set up another party and clearly had no time for me. so me and my nanny started setting up then one lady came to help but she kept leaving and seemed busy with other things. The entertainer came at around 1:15 and we just waited for more people to arrive. Then when the food arrived they fed the kids and the food for the adults only pizza arrived and two out of 3 salads were brought and the salad had no dressing there were no serving utensils. Plates were tiny! Couldn't believe they didn't have bigger plates, they were desert plates. 3rd salad came later after everyone was done with the pizza and then the dressing came. No one ate the pizza without dressing of course. Again not enough staff, the servers looked like they were scrambling. Cake cutting came and my friend helped cut the cake because no one was around and no was around to pass out cupcakes to the kids. So we started handing the cake and cupcakes to the kids it was so chaotic! Then someone came finally after we were almost done cutting the cake. I paid so much money for this party almost 4000aed and will never have one at chucke cheese again with the amount of work I had to put to make sure the part ran smoothly. Other places take care of these things for you so easily with enough staff around. I reached out to chucke cheese here in Dubai and they kept saying that there's only 1 hostess to do everything and didn't address all the other concerns.
service issue
I visited chuck e cheese oud metha branch /Dubai on 12/dec at 9:10 PM and the staff there confirmed to us that the closing timing will be 10 PM. We decided to keep our kids for 45 MIN and when we reached the cashier to buy the tokens there was no one available to serve us, at the end we decided to enter the staff room to call them from inside to serve us! Once we buy the 110 token and left the kids behind, I recieved a call from my kids at 9:35 PM confirming that chuck e cheese staff asking them to leave to close. May I know based on what? And why the closing timing is adjusted to 10PM and they are asking the kids to leave before that?
I sent official complain to outlet mall branch and I called them but they confirmed that they are not related to each other. Even if the management is different they should support the customer with required details as at the end they are representing chuck e cheese!. Am trying to reach to the management but no use. Looking to hear from you soon.

mega birthday party - do not have a chuck e cheese party
On oct 21, 2018 we had scheduled a birthday party the mega birthday party at the lynnwood wa location at 4 pm.
We showed up 15 mins early checked in and was told our table is not ready yet. It was set up and we sat down and waited 1/2 hour later thomas wondered over and said oh you did not tell me you were here. We informed him we had no balloons - his statement to us was that they have run out of balloons and had run out of dippin dots. He stated that someone was going to go get balloons you blow up and some ice cream cups.
We put in the food order the appetizer platter came out 35 mins latter and the pizza cam out after 1 hr. Thomas came out with chuck e cheese and said he was here for all the tables. He left and we did not see him again till all most 6 pm saying the girls get to go into the ticket booth. The other kids had to leave so asked another employee to find thomas our party host had come out as chuck e cheese because another party had complained. He stated he did not come back as he had to do the chuck e cheese thing.
So the party guest left no brownie no balloons no party favors no ice cream. We finally complained to thomas he was really rude. Yes he now was waring the manager key ring. We had to pay the bill for things we did not get! So monday I called never getting through dialed o and was told they only had one employee to take complaint for all 500 stores. 104 calls and left a message no call back. I called the ceo he never called back either. The next day no one was answering again called the sched. Dept they had a supervisor take the complaint she said the district manager would call within 48 hrs. It is now one week and no call and no one ever answers the phone.
My advise to everyone don't have your childs party at chuck e cheese!
obnoxious place
I had a bad experience with them. I think they have to stop doing their job. For a short period or maybe forever, because this place is absolutely unhygienic and filthy, I would even call special services. The smell at this place is disgusting and I have no idea why it doesn't bother them.
Needless to say that employees are bad as well. Rude, disrespectful.

I will not be giving this company anymore of ‘my' hard earned money
I contacted Chuck E Cheese in Boynton Beach this morning regarding a party for my 5 year old son this evening and was told it had to be done 24 hours prior to the event. Somehow this was an oversight because I was truly unaware of this policy and did not see it on the website.
My experience with ‘REAL’ organizations when a date is blocked (date block out online), you simply call the location to make arrangements. I was very disappointed to find out this was not the case, therefore, this information should be more visible on the website which would have prompted/encouraged me to book the party last evening. I have been having my sons parties at this location since he was 3 and usually during the weekday when it’s not as busy, so I’m not sure why on a Monday at 7 in the evening I can’t be accommodated for 5 children.
One might ask why did I wait until the day of? I’m glad you asked, I was waiting on a few more confirmations because I did read under the FAQ area that if you over book and not everyone shows up, you are still charged for a certain amount of individuals (you book 16 and only 8 show up, you are charged for 12 people), they made that very clear and I definitely did not want to pay anything more than I had to. When I contacted customer service regarding my concern BOTH individuals (1 being a manager) were very unprofessional.
Sadly, I will not be giving this company anymore of ‘MY’ hard earned money and after my phone calls, it became very apparent they DON’T care.
What an idiot. You call the day of trying to book a party and you complain? Do you realize that they schedule people in advance to host these parties? Do you think they can pull employees out of a magic hat like a rabbit? What an entitled ahole you are. I'm glad they didn't bend over backwards for you.
Ridiculous They were too busy to accommodate your last minute reservation.. You contacted them on a holiday, wanting to book a last minute party. Did you ever think that they were busy because of the holiday? Or even more so, that they had different/less staff on because of the holiday, and that it would be difficult for them to call someone in if people requested off for the holiday? They just couldn't accommodate you on the short notice that you requested. Why couldn't you just walk in as a normal customer, rather than booking a birthday party, which they need a private server for?
capacity
While attending my younger brother's birthday party I became very concerned with the limited space and body capacity in the facility. There was at least six different birthday party's' going on all at the same time with maybe two feet in space between the tables. It was very crowded with the mass amount of children along with all the adults. The staff seemed to serve all party's there food at the same time decreasing the space between each group. The whole while there are booths surrounding the birthday party area creating an even more closed off space. The birthday party area was not the only place crowed, the game area was swarming with kids. There was not a place to walk with out almost tripping over running children and their parents.
My main concern is if the staff at this location is following fire safety codes. It was over crowed with little room for personal space I can't help to think what would happen if everyone needed to get out in a safe and timely manner!
You don't care about the fire safety code. All you care about is being inconvenienced. What do you expect on the weekend?
poor customer service
I had made reservations for this place for my sons birthday party. My wife, son and I showed up a little early to make sure everything was in place. And the assistant manager could not find our reservation! I asked him to please check again to make sure it wasn’t just written down elsewhere.
After telling him that we had received a phone call to confirm our reservation, they found it! But to our surprise he said it was for later that evening. That was certainly not the case! All three of us (manager, my wife and I) started to raise our voices to an unhappy level! By this point Chuck E Cheese himself could have found our reservation!
Our guests were starting to gather behind us, unsure of what exactly was happening. The manager claimed to feel threatened by us and would not even apologize for the inconvenience, and was told we had to relocate to a new location! I demanded to speak with the General manager, Terry. She allowed us to have the party here.
When our server came we were told that we still had to leave. After minutes of arguing, Terry told me that it would be best for us to leave. I wasn’t allowed to tell my guests where to go either! I was forced out immediately and for no reason!.
All that my son wanted was a birthday party at Chuck E Cheese! That didn’t happen because a teenager can’t take a reservation and schedule it in the planner! I wonder how that person will graduate high school? The manager needs help in customer service skills and the GM needs to understand that the customer is always right.

I am the ex wife of the person who posted this review and I was very embarrassed by my husband's behavior. Apparently we were kicked out because some little kid got in my husband's way and he told the kid to get out of the way or he would kick his ###. Then when the mother reported it he started using profanity at the mother and Terry asked us to leave. The reason we could not tell our guess was because the other customers were complaining. When we left my son was crying and he threatened to hit him hard if he did not stop crying. My son did not stop crying so he started hitting him leaving me crying. He then threatened to hit me if I did not stop crying. Like I said this is the first and last time he hit my son. The next day when he was at work I called my brother. My ex husband when challenged by my brother chickened out. He told me to call the police and I did and we are currently safe from his abuse.
danger and expensive prices
i went to chucky cheeses with my niece and we ordered two large pizzas. we had seen the commercial and it looked good.then a kid comes running and bumps into my niece making her bump her head and pass out when i saw i imediatly picked her up and litterally ran to my car to go to the hos[ital.but before i even reached the door they said i still had to pay 52 $. went nuts. and they were so rude when i said i only had enogh money to take my niece to the hospital and the employee responded "well youll have to wait for your othr check cuz you need to pay mam". i got so irritated but i couldnt break the law. i took her home she had skull and some brain damage lucky for her shes still alive. and from that day on i never went there again.

Today I took my daughter to Chucke E Cheese for hiring. My daughter and I were out there from 4:20 and everyone after my daughter got to go inside the trailer and talk but they put my daughter's application in a folder. Then their was another African-American gentlemen were they took his application walked inside the trailer and came back out and sent the man home. To me that's not right, so I asked the gentlemen that talked to my daughter why she's the only one that didn't go upstairs he couldn't give me a very good answer. In my eyes I believe that he discriminated against the blacks and made all the whites go up. Also my daughter 2 friends were there and they are white and they came after us got to go upstairs.

horrible service
Occasion: my 2yr old's birthday party on 2.5.11. Service: horrible! Checked website & called prior to walk in party. I was told it was "1st come 1st serve" which was fine until I learned it was "1st come 1st serve with reservations only seating" meaning my $400.00 party with 40 guests would have to be let in super small increments, as seating was available. Through our prior conversations, I was lead to believe I would be able to come in, get my tables and allow my guests to sit down. The wait staff was very apologetic but zero help... Even worse was the young manager who had no idea how to run this place efficiently. This was a horrific waste of money and time: my guests and I will not be returning!

We took our son and his friends the the Chuck E Cheese's on the Black Horse Pike in Nj for his Birthday. Here is how much of a racket you can expect if you make the mistake and decide to go there. We pull into the mall parking lot and it took 10 minutes to find a parking spot. First flag. We then get to the line outsied the door to get in for another 10 minutes, second flag. We get in and are immediately stacked elbow to elbow with everyone in the place, 3rd flag.We are sure there has to be a limit to the number of patrons that are allowed in the building. Well I gues the 15 year old employee at the door, letting everyone in, must have lost count. We then bought tokens for all of the kids in our party. Why I do not know, every other antiquated game was broken. We ended up giving the tokens to other people that were there. In sum. There was no regard for public safety, and well being. Do not waste your time. And if anyone in Egg Harbor Code enforement reads this, beleive me and stop by there.

Health Hazard My ###!
1. That's the mall, not Chuck E Cheese's fault. You also in a highly populated area you can't just go to a popular place and expect there to be 500 spots open.
2. Like harry said, don't expect to be the only person/group there. This again is also not their fault, it is a a popular place to go for familys.
3. Again it's a very popular place, it's like going to a pool in the middle of New York City in the middle of July and wondering why there's no room for you.
4. It's not their fault the games are broken, when thay brake they have to call the company and wait until they have approval to order a part.
Your first mistake: Being in NJ.
Second, don't expect to be the only "patron". You are not alone in the universe.
Thrid: If it's overcrowded, get out and go some place else.

In retrospect, I should have sought greener pastures the moment they rudely insisted I not bring a shotgun into a children's restaurant. However, I have come to recognize ANTIS are everywhere, and as my disarming was more or less a faith accomplish, I complied with the request of the ruddy little onager behind the counter. I should note that the seats were woefully undersized for a 400 lb. man like myself, and thus, I was forced to suffer the humiliation of being seated on a bench in the shape of a walrus. As an accomplished gourmand, I would not willingly pass on CEC's all-you-can-eat buffet, and thus submitted myself to what would be the first of many humiliations.
All seemed better once I approached the buffet. I took five plates, piling them high with mashed potatoes, fried chicken and entire pizzas. Once I got back to my table, I was confronted by a terrible shock – the standard condiments I require were amiss! I flagged down one of the wait staff and (deep breath) inquired as to the whereabouts of the fish sauce. My request was met with blank stares by the pockmarked teen who was "helping" me, so I inquired of the manager. He said he would address this problem forthwith.
A few moments later, said manager return with a phial of something remotely resembling water. This was quite enough. I bellowed "THIS IS NOT AUTHENTIC FISH SAUCE!" Worse, I then glanced at my mashed potatoes, and realized that they were incorrectly prepared. "THESE ARE NOT PARBOILED POTATOES", I wailed. Unfortunately, I am a sufferer of adult incontinence, and this latest outrage pushed me right over the edge – I relieved myself right then and there, causing a wet stain to appear on the front of my size XXXL trousers.
"That's it!" howled the manager, "you're outta here, fatso!" I wondered who he was speaking to, as I am *not* fat, I am big boned. But to my horror and disbelief, he was addressing me! Before his misplaced words had completely sunk in, several surly looking thugs appeared from the kitchen. They bodily removed me from my walrus perch, throwing me out the door, saying "AND DON'T COME BACK!"
Not only will I never come back, I will shout from the various and sundry rooftops – when it comes to CEC, sufferers of adult incontinence, beware.

OMG, I've seen this freak before! He comes into McDonalds I work at an gives everyone the creeps he always demands a seat with the back to the wall! he's bald and old and fat and smells funny sometimes he comes in with this woman whose almost as fat as he is both of them are really wierd and like there homeless or something. he always pays with change and when he pulls out his change theres always bullets in his pocket! we've had to through him out a buncha times, it's true, sometimes he craps himself rigth at the table! My old manger banned him from the restarant for life but they transferred in a new manager and hes been sneaking back in sence then LOL.
