CheapOair Overcharge of USD3,031.9

CheapOAir has overcharged (billed our debit card) multiple times and we have been following up with a refund of USD3031.9 for a month now. Booking # is [protected]

We emailed them the bank statement and called more than 6 times. Every time we hear different story. First agent acknowledged and said the refund was issued but we didnt receive the refund. Then the story changed to they will check and every phone call the agents say they will check

CheapOair asking refund of two business class airfares difference

my booking #[protected]

when we checked in at san-francisco airport on january 10th, 2023, they told us: your tickets from san-francisco to auckland is economy class, and from aucklad to sydney is business class. we showed our order, but they let us see their desk computer display in which It showed that our air ticket was economy class then gave us a boarding tickets . seats for zhongde lin was 47k and for zhonghui li was 47j

Now that we're home for 4 more months already, we're asking for a refund of the difference in the price of two tickets from san francisco to auckland in business class and economy class.

CheapOair Online travel booking with cheapoair

I have a $2300 credit with Cheapoair. Their email states a $100 rebooking fee. I am trying to book 3 tickets for $500 per person. They are still asking me to pay additional $816 on top of my $2300 credit. What math is that? Supervisor tells me the rebooking fee is $200 now. He says the earlier email had an error. How ridiculous is that. This website is fraud and unfair. Must be sued. I need a total refund of my hard earned money.

Desired outcome: Total refund of all my money and compensation for harassment.

CheapOair Travel company

DO NOT USE Cheapoair. Please spread this warning to everyone, that there is nothing cheap or competent about Cheapoair

The short story: Cheapoair booked me to Charlotte, a car to Asheville and a return flight from Asheville. Easy, but the rental car they booked has to be returned to Charlotte. And they don’t tell me about the car until I’m in Charlotte. In what world does this make any sense?

The long story: Cheapoair booked me from Rochester, NY (ROC) to Charlotte, NC (CLT) and a rental car to drive one way to Asheville, NC using SIXT rental with a drop off at Asheville airport (AVL) to fly back to Rochester (ROC). At the SIXT counter the agent told me that Cheapoair had screwed up my reservation because SIXT doesn’t have an Asheville office, in fact they only one SIXT site in North Carolina and it’s the Charlotte airport. Obviously the wouldn’t let me rent the car. I called Cheapoair’s lack of customer service and bounced to 5 different agent who all said I had the wrong department, eventually I was told no one was there who had any authority to make it right. I was told that the only thing I could do was to find another car rental company or take a 2 hr taxi ride. Since it was Sunday and Mother’s Day, only Avis had a car for a one way trip to Asheville and the cost more than doubled from $206 to $500.

Cheapoair promised me that their policy is to respond to a stranded customer in 24 to 72 hours; the reason is that they have to listen to the tape and until then I was screwed. This they called customer service.

It is now 72 hrs and of course I have no heard a word from Cheapoair. Their incompetence cost me $300. I intend to slag Cheapoair to all social media, file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and any Government office that has oversight in the travel business..

Desired outcome: Refund additional cost to rental car

CheapOair Refused Refund/Claimed on their own website that my credit from 2020/Covid was still valid in 2023

Booked and then cancelled a flight in 2020, the beginning of Covid. Tried to get a refund, which they refused. Tried again in 2021 to get a refund, which they refused. Gave me a credit. I logged into my CheapOAir account on Monday, May 8, 2023, where it STILL showed a credit of almost $3000.00. I tried to get the alleged voucher # to try to re-book our flight. This week has been a nightmare. They refuse to tell me where my money went, since the original flight was cancelled.

As far as I am concerned, this is theft.

They need to give me my money back. No flight ever re-booked. No "voucher" received. Their own website telling me my credit was still valid & good to use on Monday, May 8, 2023. By the way, the credit information under my login, that has been on my login for 3 years now, mysteriously disappeared as of Friday, May 12, 2023.

Also, every "customer service supervisor" that I talked to has either had me on hold for hours or hung up on me.

Desired outcome: Please refund my money. I am sick with disgust over this whole issue.

It's been over a month and a half, and I still haven't heard a single peep out of CheapOAir. They just refuse to reply to my emails and refuse to contact me.

I sent them another email Today, August 2, 2023. I highly doubt they will respond or contact me.

I've been waiting for 3 weeks for a supervisor or someone on the executive level to respond to my emails. Why won't Cheapoair contact me? They basically stole my money. I just want compensation for my time, efforts, frustration and the money or full credit that I am owed.

CheapOair Flight Sydney to Perth 2iwdch confirmation

1. I wanted to book a flight and went to Qantas, however I ended up on Cheapchair, so booked an expensive ticket, with an option to cancel as my booking was rather fluid, due to personal complexities;

2. I tried to cancel the flight early this week only to be told no refund, I was pretty annoyed as I recall booking the most expensive for the very reason.

3. My flight was to depart on Thursday 18th May o6:30 my booking confirmation. [protected] I went to site to cancel only to be informed on the chat 'no refund.'

4. I am requesting 80% of my ticket cost to be reimbursed, as I am now past the deadline.

Desired outcome: a minimum of 80% refund Please note I spent a long time trying to load my PDF ticket but not supported, in fact used a few of the office administrators but to no avail.

CheapOair I am complaining about their terrible customer service

After receiving the reply of my first review for this company, they terribly lied about my booking cancellation and it is horrible they even don't have any document about my booking cancellation. They mentioned that "We have completed the research on this and the passenger never cancelled the flights before departure, although she called several times to inquire about making changes and cancellations, but never committed to either. Therefore the airlines marked this as a no-show and the ticket is forfeited as it was not cancelled before departure". I want you know I cancelled my flight on Jan 04,2023 while my departure was Jan 26, 2023.I have attached the document sent by their customer service, the name of the guy I talked with was KASH, he cancelled my flight and gave me the voucher amount for one year on Jan 04, 2023.

My request from Cheapoair is to book another flight for me by using my Voucher amount which is $1580. The customer service at Jan04,2023 said you can use your voucher during one year. Based on my credit I have, I should be charged only by the difference of my credit and the new flight cost.

CheapOair Overcharged and didn't get what was promised

Booked two seats for a 20 hour flight. Paid the extra money to pick seats. They only did one seat and won't refund for the missed seat. After going in circles on the phone I was told, the 150 seat booking fee was refunded, then it changed to I was never charged, then it was changed to I was already refunded. Then I was offered 39 dollars back with no explanation. I now have one booked seat which is useless and customer service is an absolute joke. Checked my bank, there was never a refund.

CheapOair Flight reservations

I reserved my flight home from Paris to Los Angeles through CheapOAir. There was a two-hour layover in Frankfurt, Germany. I received the confirmation email and code to use for both flights (two different airlines). As the date approached, I had a hard time confirming the second leg of the flight. Through the chat function and telephone I contacted CheapOAir multiple times before I left on the trip. They assured me that all would be well once I got to Frankfurt. The day before I left Paris I received another email confirmation from CheapOAir so I tried not to freak out. In Frankfurt I had to go to baggage claim (across the airport) to get my bag and then had to go to the Condor counter (across the airport). The second airline (Condor, a German firm) could not find my reservation. They searched by my name, my passport number, my ticket number, my airline code, all with no result. The flight was full and there was no room on Condor's flight the following day. You can imagine what a nightmare this situation was. I was obligated to purchase a same-day ticket on American to get home. Over $1700 for an economy seat! CheapOAir took absolutely no responsibility, blamed everything on Condor and have ghosted me. I am in the process of suing them for the $1700 and my emotional distress.

CheapOair Cheapoair

We have been on the phone with CheapOair for multiple hours spanning over multiple months now. We have a flight credit with them (half of 3 flights back from NZ) from the start of the pandemic when we were stuck in NZ. They conveniently can not find it and Air New Zealand has assured us they have paid CheapOair Canada and they will not honour our $1700. We even called NZ and CheapOair at the same time as they didn't believe us and had a representative from Air New Zealand talk to them who insisted that they issue us a refund.

This company is an absolute disgrace. It is disgusting how they use an unprecedented situation like a pandemic to steal people's money. Presently on hold with them AND Air New Zealand for the umpteenth time.

Name is Aaron McCourtie (3 PAX) and we want a refund that we are rightfully owed as our flight was CANCELLED due to a PANDEMIC in March 2020 and we had to buy 3 new ones.

CheapOair Useless Credit

I booked a flight May 2022 and had to cancel it within 24 hours after I had booked it due to covid restrictions. I was told I would not be given a full refund, which is not acceptable for the circumstances but settled for the full credit, since I travel with Cheapoair often. So I have a credit of $649.07 and have tried using it numerous times, but every time I try and call the customer service rep tries to scam me of $700-800 on top of my credit... when the flights are on their website (with the same airline and everything) are for only $700, so if anything I should only be charged the difference of my credit and the new flight cost. I need to be connected with someone that can book me a flight using my credit, I am not spending an extra $800 when I have a credit and brand new flights aren't even $800.

Desired outcome: Either a full refund or new flight for cost on their site, minus my credit of course. Not spending more than $200 on top of my credit.

CheapOair Travel Booking Fee overcharged

I had enter all the correct information for the Hotel and Airfares. However after payment, I got complete wrong schedule confirmation for my flight time and the price for the trip was like nearly double as. How on the earth that could happen? It is your website cause the problems, it is not the customer's fault and this is the way CheapoAir earn money and call it Cheap? This is my first experience and please refund the overcharge fee.

CheapOair Regarding Credits

I have booked a ticket in 2021 from cheapoair website as it’s is mentioned i need to complete my travel before April 2023 but I don’t have any plans to travel for india in this period so I am trying to forward those credits but this company is saying you need to complete before April your are not eligible for forward.

It is fare enough to cheapoair to speak with customer like that.

If I don’t have any plans to travel how could it possible to finish this before April 2023.

I lost already one of my flight credits with cheapoair last year .

And they say it is airline policy. If I call airline they say it is agents policy you didn’t book with our portal.

Desired outcome: Make it carry forward those credits so I was planning to go next year.

CheapOair No refund from my flight since covid

Dear Sir,

i booked in feb 2020 3 flight tickets from Thailand to France during the summer time. due to covid i cancel them. i never got a refound or any other compensation with Cheapoair. on top o did include an insurance with them.

Each time i contacted them on the phone; they changed their speech and lied to us about the outcome.

CheapOair You continued to charge me whilst the information was wrong

On the 9th of April I booked 2 tickets from Skopje to London, I proceeded with completing the passengers details and before continuing I checked that all information was correct and can confirm the names match my husbands and sons passports.

Onto the next phase where the airliner offers other services E.g extra luggage, insurance etc I skipped all that and went to the payment screen, I entered my credit card information and paid for the flights, after that I picked the seats and paid for the seats, however the it wouldn't allow me to finalize the booking, as I scrolled up to the top of of the screen, there I see an alert saying to check the passengers name and that the CheapOair system was saying that my sons and husbands names were wrong. Not sure how I can get that wrong when I have booked flights before.

I did not know what to do because the names were correct, so I decided to cancel the flight, my problem with the whole experience is that how on earth can you take my money when the booking has incorrect information , why would you allow the system to continue and processes the payment when there is something wrong with the information in the booking, this is ridiculous and I cannot make any sense of it.

The flight was for my husband and kid to visit their grandmother who is not well. this was a family trip. I cannot wait for 7 to 14 days. Please escalate refund. I was told my CheapOair staff that it is out of there hands and it is up to the airliner well you decided to provide this service you can communicate with the airliner and have them prosses my refund by the end of this week.

Desired outcome: Booking [protected] I would like you to refund my money by the end of this week, CheapOair provides a services and it wasn't delivered correctly, I need the funds back asap so I can book my flight I'm out of pocket by $767.56 AUD.

All I can say is that your organization is so incompetent it's laughable.

I have been communicating with a Jazmina from your customer services department, who informed me that your organization doesn't work with the airliner nor escalate such matters, that we basically have to allow for the 7-14 days, your terms & conditions state something completely different which I have sent to her.

Yesterday I managed to contact your call center and spoke to an Ebel from your billing department who told me that the refund should processes in 2-3 days ( I will be following that up with a phone call). Now you are telling me I have to wait the 7 to 14 days. I question whether your whole agency knows what they are doing.

Please be informed I don't care what your internal processes is or what file get's 1st priority or who goes where, I want my money back by the end of this week. This is an error on your behalf which you don't even acknowledge you make it sound like this is my fault. I still don't understand how you took money from my account and allowed the system to processes this when your systems thought that my husbands & Childs name is wrong.

Please make sure that my funds are cleared in my account by the end of this week, Im sure you can escalate this matter. Also I'm still waiting for Jazmina to send me her supervisors name so I can complain to him/her also.

CheapOair Booking and refunds

Hi

On the 9th of April I booked a flight from skopje to london, I proceeded to fill out passenger details, double checked the names, the flight information,airports, times and dates. Everything was correct and no issues, so I proceeded through the screens where it asked you to pick other services I skiped all , until I reached the payment screen, i continued and added my credit card details, and selected to proceed to processes payment, the payment was processed and my account showed the money being debited. After that i selected my seat and wanted to finish of the booking. This is when I faced the issue, there was a system alert, to view this I had to scroll all the way up to the screen otherwise it wasn't visible, the error said that the passengers names are wrong, please explain to me how do you allow me to proceed and pay for my flight when the information is wrong, I cannot make any sense of this. Its ridiculous. Now Im stuck with no money and no tickets , i have been asking your customer staff to help me but they cannot even address an email , they never actually answer your questions. I want my money back in the next 2 days.

Im sorry if Im being rude but I need to rebook my husband needs to visit his mum who is old and needs support You provide a service and you need to step up and fix the issue, it was easy for cheapoair to take my money, but cannot return it, please refund it back now.

CheapOair Money I paid

I have booked a flight ticket ( Turkish Airlines)of [protected] on Dec 30th …Then I cancelled the ticket on jan 12 through your office with someone called Tomas and he told me to pay 275$ cancellation fees and you have 820$ in your credit but now when I wanted to book another ticket they asked me to pay more 400 for the cancellation?! So how come pay all this money I need my money or unfortunately I will file a complaint against cheapoair and against the employer Tomas ( ext:890)…I will attach my bank account history as a proof of my saying.

CheapOair pricing

On March 26, 2023, I purchased 2 return flights from YYC to YUL for $1100 and change. Once I hit confirm and submit, there was a message saying, I would receive and email with the confirmation. The email, I received, then stated the price is $1500 and change. $400 discrepancy. Within minutes I followed up with a customer service agent with Cheapo Air who confirmed , he did see the initial amount, that I confirmed, but then says the price increased with the timeframe of searching for flights, entering the passenger details and entering the payment information. At no time did the increase show up on my end of the screen. I with want a refund in the amount of $400 or a complete reimbursement. Time is of the essence, I need to purchase 2 flights for my mothers funeral asap. This matter cannot stay unresolved.

CheapOair Double Charging

My husband bought a ticket from philippines going to lax using cheapoair. After we're done paying for the flight we receive an email for our ticket. On the other day we receive a text from the bank and it was double charge. When my husband call them they will always say that after 3-5 business days they will refuns it. Until now the credit card waa overdraft and we badly need the money. No actions has been taken. If they will continue to being like this we will

make sure to file a lawsuit.

CheapOair Travel credit that they won't honor

I booked flights for 3 people from Manila to South Korea before the pandemic. All of us are non-Korean tourists. However, obviously due to the pandemic, the flights were canceled and I was promised credits. I actually wanted to get a refund instead of credits but the hassle of being passed around between Cheapoair and Jeju Air (the airline we were supposed to fly) became too stressful for me. This was why I settled to just getting credits through Cheapoair. It's only recently when South Korea has become lenient with tourists so there was no way for me to use the credit.

I am aware that I booked the flight back in 2020 before the pandemic but I was told by the agent that my credit will not expire. I would constantly check the status of my credit on Cheapoair's "Credit Tracker and as of this writing, it still says "Hold for Credit". According to the disclaimer in the said tracker page, I do not have to do anything else about the credit and I can just simply call Cheapoair when I am ready to use my credit. However, when I phoned Cheapoair, I was shocked when they told me that my credit has expired and I could no longer use my around PhP32,000 (C$800) credit. I did not get any form of notification, there was nothing on their tracker that indicates any expiry date, and again, the status of my credit is still "Hold for Credit". Now they tried to pass the blame to Jeju air and Cheapoair ultimately refuses to honor my credit or to help me in anyway. One agent even told me that Cheapoair is only the mediator so I should not blame them and another agent just hung up on me mid call.

I was also told that my credit expired 1 year after the booking was made (2020), so my credit expired in 2021, DURING THE HEIGHT OF THE PANDEMIC?! They basically told me that because I did not use my credit during the middle of the Pandemic, when nobody was allowed to fly that it was my fault that my credit expired. No warning, nothing. They just decided that my C$800 credit should expire in the middle of the pandemic.

I booked a lot of flights with Cheapoair through the years, more than a decade in fact. They don't really care once they get your money. What a bunch of heartless crooks.

Desired outcome: Honor my Credit that You (Cheapoair) are holding. I will provide an update as soon as there is a development.
