Chatnow is a website that claims to offer free online counseling services to people who need someone to talk to. However, my experience with this website has been far from satisfactory. The people who work here are extremely unhelpful and seem to have no interest in listening to your problems. Instead, they seem more interested in pushing their own agenda and beliefs onto you.

One of the biggest issues I faced while using Chatnow was the constant questioning about my religious beliefs. It seemed like every time I tried to talk to someone, they would immediately ask me if I was a Christian. If I said no, they would either try to convert me or end the conversation altogether. This made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome.

Another problem I faced was the constant bombardment of links and resources that were supposed to help me. However, most of these links were just people trying to push their own agenda onto me. They didn't really offer any real help or support.

Lastly, I have to mention Mike, one of the counselors on Chatnow. In my opinion, he is one of the worst counselors I have ever come across. He seems completely disinterested in helping people and often comes across as rude and dismissive. I personally believe that he needs to be fired from his position.

Overall, I would not recommend Chatnow to anyone who is looking for real help and support. The people who work here seem more interested in pushing their own beliefs and agendas than actually helping people. If you are looking for real counseling services, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

They even sent me links that told me to change myself in order to be with God, even though I kept telling them that this wasn't something I could change. It was like they weren't even trying to understand where I was coming from. I mean, could they really just "stray away from temptation" like it was nothing? I don't think so.

And then, when I was still typing out my thoughts, Adelheid just cut me off and left. They didn't even want to hear what I had to say. They just said, "Oh, I've helped you enough." But the truth is, they really hadn't helped me at all. I still feel like I'm drowning in my own thoughts and feelings, and I don't know where to turn.

Overall, I was really disappointed with my experience on Chatnow.org. I thought it would be a safe space for me to talk about my problems, but instead, I just felt judged and misunderstood. I hope that in the future, they can train their volunteers to be more empathetic and understanding of people's struggles. Because sometimes, all we really need is someone to listen to us and tell us that we're not alone.

I tried to explain to them that I was already a Sunday teacher at my local church and married to a trainee pastor, but they didn't seem to care. The two guys I spoke to, Emmanuel and Chris, were completely untrained in talking to others or any kind of prayer ministry. They were just a pair of amateurs who seemed to be more interested in making themselves feel good by repeating salvation questions.

Overall, I would not recommend Chatnow to anyone. The people who run this site are egocentric idiots who have no interest in actually helping people. If you're looking for support during tough times, you're better off looking elsewhere.

I remember using Chatnow a few years back and it was a pretty bad experience. I stumbled upon these reviews and I thought I would share my experience. I talked to a guy named Pete about a really serious issue that I was going through. He was insensitive, judgmental, and argumentative. He didn't seem to have any compassion for what I was going through. He gave me advice that was completely opposite of what the Bible says about the matter. He also wasn't very professional, he didn't even type proper English (he started with "how are u?") and ended with a copy and paste prayer. It's really concerning to see so many other negative experiences on here. It's not responsible to have volunteers talking to vulnerable people in roles they're not cut out for. I hope anyone thinking of using Chatnow finds a loving church or Christians to speak to instead.
