JPMorgan Chase - J.P. Morgan Investment Services

I have been trying to close out a very small $52.00 money market account for my Mother since December 2017. I opened the account when I was employed as an Investment Manager at Chase and was a CPC client for many years. I became frustrated and disillusioned and have closed out most of my relationships with Chase due to this situation. I have sent in the...

JPMorgan Chase - Mistakes at Stow, Ohio branch

I have had a relationship with Chase since 1981 and are questioning if it will continue. My career was as a reporter, so have taken notes that I would love to share on the phone. To keep this short, my wife and I witnessed a series of paperwork mistakes made by branch bankers in PLENTY of visits to the bank. The bottom line is that my six-year Family Trust...

JPMorgan Chase Fabulous company to do business with!

This customer of a number of years, primarily deals with the Credit Card aspect of the company. Regrettably, I still use credit as I do not earn enough to save and pay cash! SO! I have been blessed with Chase and Chase Freedom.

Customer Service has always been there should I have had to replace a card or deal with a fraudulent item, which is very rare. I am blessed with a company that has helped me aquire what I need, when I need it in return, I repay on time and with interest, high as it is today!

I am just so thankful for this company that continues to give me the privilege of credit.

So, if you are looking for a reputable company, with tons of credit or monetary opportunity to save, invest or need personal or business loan, Chase is a great company.

Thanks Chase, for always being there for this citizen. (Now! How to get rich, quick! So I can pay ya'll off faster!)

It started in July of 2023 and in August my S S check was tacked out of my account not knowing where the money went and chase did not tell me either. So we closed the account and opened a new one but then in September my SS got money was tacked again from the new account. We went to chase again they said they would look in to it with the fraud dept. When you live on ss that is a problem when you go 2 mouths with out any money to pay your bills. Everybody be ware when putting your money in chase bank it could just be a inside job there are a lot of scammers out there they might be in the bank iiself.

JPMorgan Chase Checking and representative payee account

Chase bank allowed account takeover fraud & assisted in other fraud against my mom's soc sec income and stolen in house. They knew who, when, where of the theft but would not report it, never monitor the accounts after numerous complaints. Never frooze or closed the accts letting it go on for a year. Finally ended Thanks to BofA freezing her new acct. in 2019.

Desired outcome: 32k returned. 24k for income my mom never got. and 8k for all the money I spent to save my moms house, her utilities, feed her and cat.

JPMorgan Chase Check Verification Dispute

I have been told the bank has taken the funds from 2 settlement checks I had deposited 2 months ago when I had an active account.

I need to file this complaint in hopes of resolving why Chase Bank was able to verify my Lawyers check they cashed through Chase and not mine when we both have received the same checks and they seem to have passed the Plexus Nexus number process using the same exact information that is needed to verify my check? It makes no sense as to why I am having to sustain any of this type of behavior from Chase Bank and how long must one wait to have the check that was won lawfully in court to be verified in comparison to my lawyers check passing your standards for verification.

I look forward to a response at your earliest convenience.

JPMorgan Chase - Bad service and an aggressive employee

Good day, two days ago August 30 between the hours of 12noon and 1 P.m. I visited my local chase branch located on the first floor of John Hancock building in Chicago to obtain a check so I could transfer money to a different bank, I asked the teller for one check and she told me that they print 3/page and I said fine and then she asked me for $3, I wa...

JPMorgan Chase Debit atm card

Chase debited ATM card charge to my account by payment for a Target store item that honestly, I didn't make or buy any item at Target for 164 dollars that was charged to my account. At first, Chase removed the debit when I called in to report as soon as I saw it on my online banking but when Target store denied claim, Chase denied my claim to them and said it was because the item purchased was made by my non-counterfeited chip Chase ATM card. Here's the other thing, as of now, in looking at my account online at Chase, the original item I purchased at Target store for a frozen dinner for $6 dollars and change, I don't remember exactly but at the time of... I did see the receipt I had it in the same bag and I just felt better after Chase's not charging after I reported the 164 charge. I don't have the receipt for the actual frozen food dinner. Accordingly, Target store said the time of the purchase was at about 5:59 and I clock out at work (my job) at 6 o'clock pm. That afternoon's lunch is why or what I bought at Target. But having that removed from my account online to show now only the fraud amount from that store is too much!

Desired outcome: My money back that I did not make a purchase with my non-counterfeit chipped Chase Bank's ATM card!

JPMorgan Chase Checking/savings

I received a check from a life insurance policy from my mothers death, I decided to open a savings account that was attached to our checking account, I went into a branch and their systems were down they said, the associate said he wanted to see if the system was up and running yet and asked me to insert my card and then he pulled out a random check from the drawer with someone else’s name on it and slid it through their machine, and he said to me it’s working. but “don’t worry the check I just ran will reverse” I was hesitant but that’s not my doing or in my control, I saw the 900 which the check was made out for in my chase app as a transaction for the next 3 days until it reversed and disappeared from the transaction list like he said, and then he said to me “but you have to go home and open the savings account online and then come in” so I did that, I opened up a savings account and I set it up to do an automatic transfer going forward of $100 to go from the checking to the savings on a monthly basis, I went in to the branch to deposit it on 07/29/2023, I noticed when the check cleared instead of 100 going to savings it was reversed and $100 was transferred from savings to checking.. I let it be figuring it was a mistake on my part, I went shopping a few days later on 08/04/2023 and stopped at the Atm for money and was denied, I tried to log into the app on my phone where it said the account was restricted and to call, when I called they said I have to go into a branch with 2 forms of Id which I immediately did, they said there was a returned auto draft because of insufficient funds, (I thought we had overdraft protection (we did) or that at the least the savings would be a backup and cover anything like this) it had been coming out of the same account every month for 4 years, They took my 2 forms of Id and then made a call and on the phone I verified who I was and was told without any explanation that they are not servicing my accounts anymore, I said ok and left, then my wife went into the bank and they said at first it was just my account which is confusing as my account or her account are the same we thought, they are joint accounts everything of ours is joint.. for the next 4-5 days we had a few calls with them, with them telling my wife they can fix it and to go into the branch with two forms of Id again just to be told the same thing, the accounts are closed and that’s it, I got a call today 08/09/2023 from my community where I live and they said that the auto draft from Chase for the monthly lot rent fee was returned, and to avoid any charges I need to give them a new check by 5Pm, well this is 6:30 Pm now and our money is held hostage for what exactly? I have no idea what could have gone wrong, I received a letter today from Chase that asks me to call them to clear up the issue, I did that, I was asked to verify my info and address and then told abruptly your accounts are closed an was hung up on, now my wife’s account is closed too and the community lot rental fee is now late and incurring a late fee, credit card bills coming due within the next few days, how are we to recover from this after years of rebuilding our credit just like that, so what now? do I have to miss credit card payments, home payments, and face further credit scrutiny from other credit companies that may be considering extending credit because of an unknown error, how are we to live if our money is locked up? How can this money be held this way when it comes down to eating, bill paying, credit obligations and credit health?

JPMorgan Chase Retirement Accounts

I have been a customer of JP Morgan for close to 10 years and I am a private client customer. During this time, I have not seen any growth in my money using their managed services. Due to this I have decided to move all of my retirement out of JP Morgan.

The issue is that it has now been over a week. My accounts are not liquidated and the securities cannot be transferred. I was on the phone with Kenny G yesterday who was supposed to help resolve the issue. The issue is not resolved and he did not call me back as he said he would.

Apparently and according to Kenny G. If an account is terminated and liquidated. The account is put on hold due to regulations.

Not sure how a simple transfer has gotten so complicated so quickly,

Desired outcome: I want my account liquidated and moved per the instructions that I provided.

JPMorgan Chase Holding insurance payment funds beyond due date

JP Morgan Chase has held onto my insurance claim funds beyond the allowable time frame. This is totally unacceptable to do this to people who are waiting on the funds to make repairs. This company should be held responsible for USERY. Their website says they "paid" the disbursement of initial funds on 7/24/23... HOWEVER the Fed Ex tracking number says "a label has been created, but that Chase has not yet given them the package"... the check was due to me TODAY ... but has not yet left Ohio and therefore FedEx has no delivery timeline available!?

Desired outcome: Get me (and others) their payments ON TIME!

JPMorgan Chase Business bank account funds are held by chase bank for 6 months

On December 1, 2022 I went into Chase bank to open up a Business Checking ( Checking Account # [protected]) and Savings Account. The same day I made a check deposit for $ 1,374,425.00, the check that I deposited was a tax refund check made payable to my company from the United States Treasury Department. Then on December 2, 2022 I checked my online banking to check the status of my deposit, my account was restricted. I called the Chase customer support line and requested to know why was my account restricted I was informed that" I needed to go inside the bank and provide a copy of my EIN conformation letter proving that my business was issued an EIN number before the issuance of the check". On December 5, 2022 I went to Chase bank and spoke with a relationship banker Ria Chande at Chase and informed her of the situation, and provided her my EIN Conformation letter from the IRS. Ria Chande informed me that she submitted the document and I have to give a call to the fraud hotline [protected]) to check and verify that the Fraud Department have received the documents she sent over to them. On December 6,2022 through December 12, 2022 I continued to call Chase Bank Fraud Department and customer support, requesting the update on my account and did Chase receive the EIN Conformation letter. On DEcember 12, 2022 I was informed that Chase received my EIN Conformation letter and my account was unrestricted . On December 13, 2022 I went to chase bank and made to transactions totaling $ 238,800.00. Then on December 14, 2022 my account was back restricted. I contacted Chase bank the same day and requested to know why my account was back restricted. I was informed that " Chase bank have to contact the United States Treasury Department to verify the check that was issued to me from the U.S. Treasury Department inorder for Chase to un restrict my account and that this process can take between 5 to 7 business days". I then called back on December 16,2022 and was told that " I needed to go inside the Chase bank with all the parties listed on the check and fill out a Hold Harmless letter and have it notarized by a banker, and once the Hold Harmless letter is received my account will be unrestricted ". On January 18, 2023 I along with three other parties went to Chase bank and provided valid state issued Drivers Licenses to Chase relationship banker Ria Chande. Again I explained to The banker Ria Chande that my account was again restricted and Chase wanted me to step inside it's branch with the parties listed on the check and provide valid Identification and fill out an Hold Harmless letter and have it notarized by a banker and have the banker send it to Chase back office. The relationship banker then provided me with the Hold Harmless issued from chase I filled it out. Ria Chande then asked for me and the parties that were present Identification and documented and she proceeded to notarize the Hold harmless letter. After notarizing the letter Ria Chande sent the document to Chase Back office, and informed me to contact Chase fraud Hotline at [protected], to verify that the Fraud Department have received the Hold Harmless Letter. I have been calling the Chase Fraud department for the pass 6 months ( January 20, 2023 - July 18, 2023) and I am continue to be told that Chase bank have to get intouch with the U.S. Treasury Department to verify the check. JPMorgan Chase Checking/apple pay

I used Apple Pay to pay $1000 to a relative. I got an error that it didn't go through and when the error went away, I resubmitted the $1000. Only the $1000 charge went to the recipient, however, Chase took $2000 out of my account. This made my account go negative and the recipient had to send me back the $1000. I submitted a claim to Chase to refund me the extra $1000 that they took. I filed the claim on 07/01/23. By 07/04/23, there was still no credit on my account. I called back on 07/05/23 and I was told that the credit would be applied to my account by end of day or 07/06/23 at the latest. I called back on 07/06/23 and there was no credit to my account. I was told that at 1:41am on 07/06, my claim was moved to the top of the queue and was told once again that the credit would be applied by end of day 07/06/23 or 07/07/23 at the latest. I called back on 07/07/23 and was told that everything was applied to my account, but it wasn't. A supervisor, Niaomi reviewed and said that my credit is pending and that I will see it shortly. I was finally able to get the credit back to my account. It was completely unethical the process to get this credit back to my account when it was wrongfully taken to begin with

JPMorgan Chase Fraud transaction

On 4/12/2023, I discovered that there were 16 different unauthorized transactions from Amazon.com on my checking accounts for a total of $575.00. I contacted Chase to disputed the charges since I haven't purchased anything from Amazon for years.

On 5/25/2023, I was notified by Chase that 14 of the charges were deem valid while the other 2 are not. This is impossible since I never made those charges. Chase rep told me that there is nothing he can do.

I contacted Amazon and provided them with one of the transaction reference number. I was then told that someone from an unknown/ non-verifiable account made those transactions for gift cards. The account that made those transaction were not under my name. Amazon said since they cannot verify the account, there is nothing they can do. They recommended disputing the charges with Chase bank.

I am living off Social Security check and this is unacceptable. Apparently there is a loophole in Chase system because 15 charges within the same day for $25 each went through easily as well as the other $200 charges.

I am hoping that you can help since this is my last resort.

Desired outcome: Refund

JPMorgan Chase Monthly service fees on my old checking account!

From: Daniel Navarro

Cell #[protected]

Date [protected]

To: Mr. Daniel Pinto, COO

I have been a long-time customer of your bank (around 2006)

I wish bring to your attention that I am having problems not getting resolve the new monthly service fees charged to my checking account!

The first time I experience these fees, I went to my local branch at Cinco Ranch, Texas. Spoked with the manager and told me that because I have a mortgage with Chase, I should not be charging the monthly fees, she also did a credit back for the fees.

It happened again so I went back again but the manager was not in and spoke with representative and told me to call customer service, with I did on March 9, 2023 at about 4:40pm. It took me about 50 minutes going through this process by the end of the conversation The representative agrees to correct the account so that I will not get the monthly fees charge. She also told me that the mortgage department need it to correct something on their end, she will have Tina to take care of that she put me on hold for 20 minutes and never return to the phone!

To my surprise I am getting the monthly fees again!

I called today 5-24-23 again and I was not able to resolve this issue.

I have a Mortgage with Chase, I do not like to close this account, it is convenient for me to use this account to pay the mortgage and credit card. I am a retired disabled person in a set income.

Please help me correct this, as I was promised by two of your representatives.

Thank you!

Desired outcome: Stop the monthly fees in my checking account, please!

I have had this credit card for many years and also do hundreds of thousands of dollars in investing with Chase bank. I disputed a charge for the first time ever with this card and was denied my dispute. I ordered concert tickets for a concert in Columbus Ohio on [protected] from seat geek. Seat Geek never provided me with the $474.36 Row 1 tickets. They know I did not order and pay for $30 lawn tickets and even the staff at the venue said seat geek sent us the wrong tickets. Seat geek has not refunded me the difference in price and stopped communications.

Desired outcome: Deny Seat Geek payment for services not rendered
