Rude, snarky and unprofessional staff - do not buy
I purchased the program and followed it for 2 weeks. At the end of the second week, I submitted my weekly report and got basically the same templated email back with same recommendations.
I replied back, asking for clarification on the recs as Week 2's report was quite different from Week 1's and received an incredibly unprofessional and rude set of replies, telling me I had made a defamatory comment (I was questioning Dr Jacon's recs) and that my purchase was cancelled and fully refunded, period. (To date no refund seen yet, but I will dispute this with my CC issuer should it not come through as I have documentation re: the unilateral decision made by this company's staff.) Moreover, this email was followed up with another, unsolicited, which stated, "As explained in a session 4, practice and attitude of gratitude instead of criticism and you will sleep better. Please do not contact us again."
Rarely have I experienced this level of rude behavior. Not exactly great bedside manner toward those experiencing a chronic condition and who want to learn and be educated.
Recommendation: Don't waste your money
CBT for Insomnia Scam: Paid $55 for One Session and Terrible Support
I paid $55 bucks for CBT For Insomnia and only got Session 1. I tried to get help from their support team but they were no help at all and even rude to me. I feel like I got ripped off.

CBT for Insomnia: A Game-Changer for Quality Sleep - My Review
But let me tell you, the CBT for Insomnia program is worth it. I struggled with insomnia for years and tried everything from sleeping pills to meditation. Nothing seemed to work until I stumbled upon this website. The program is easy to follow and the techniques are effective. I was skeptical at first, but after a few weeks of following the program, I noticed a significant improvement in my sleep quality.
The program includes a variety of resources such as audio recordings, worksheets, and videos. The audio recordings are especially helpful as they guide you through relaxation techniques and help you fall asleep faster. The worksheets are also useful as they help you track your progress and identify any patterns or triggers that may be affecting your sleep.
The website may have some technical issues, but the program itself is top-notch. The customer service may not be the best, but the program is so effective that you probably won't need to contact them anyway.
Overall, I highly recommend CBT for Insomnia to anyone struggling with sleep issues. It's a game-changer and has significantly improved my quality of life. Don't let the website issues or rude emails deter you from trying this program. It's worth it.
Unprofessional Attitude from CBTforInsomnia.com - A Review
So, we was tryna add some CBT-I to our sleep game, ya know? I hit up cbtforinsomnia.com with some questions and they hit me back with some straight up rudeness. Like, not cool, man. That kinda attitude makes me think they ain't all that professional, ya feel me? So, we decided not to cop their product.
Poor Customer Service and Navigation Issues in CBT for Insomnia Online Course
I'm currently doing this online course for CBT for Insomnia and I gotta say, it's not the easiest thing to navigate if you're not too savvy with computers. I tried to bring this up with the folks running the course and they gave me a response that felt kinda condescending and snarky. I even paid extra to be able to ask questions, but their attitude is really turning me off. Honestly, I regret signing up for this.
Mixed Experience with CBT For Insomnia: Helpful Information, Frustrating Gatekeeper
CBT For Insomnia (cbtforinsomnia.com) is a website that offers help for people who have trouble sleeping. I had some trouble with their "gatekeeper" (whoever answers the emails), and it was really frustrating. It made me so mad that now, when I think about CBT, I get angry and my blood pressure goes up. It's really hard to sleep when you're feeling angry and upset.
I decided to try CBT For Insomnia because I was having trouble sleeping and I wanted to find a solution. I paid $60 for some pamphlets, but I didn't get to talk to a doctor or get any kind of review. I wasn't even sure if there was any evidence that this would work.
Despite my frustration with the gatekeeper, I did find some helpful information in the pamphlets. They talked about things like sleep hygiene and relaxation techniques. I tried some of these techniques and they did seem to help me sleep better.
Overall, I think CBT For Insomnia has some good information, but the experience of dealing with their gatekeeper was really frustrating. If you're thinking about trying this website, just be prepared for some frustration and don't expect to talk to a doctor. But if you're willing to try some new techniques and see if they work for you, it might be worth a shot.
CBT For Insomnia Review: Not Worth Your Money or Time
This website, CBT For Insomnia, has been getting a lot of attention from big news outlets like Dr. Oz. They claim to offer a cognitive behaviour therapy program that can help with sleep problems. The program lasts for 5 weeks and is supposedly monitored by a Dr. Gregg Jacobs. However, there are a couple of issues with this website that you should be aware of before you decide to spend your money.
Firstly, the material provided on the website is nothing new and can be found all over the internet. So, if you're looking for something unique or groundbreaking, this might not be the right choice for you. Secondly, if you try to contact the site by email, you might be in for a rude surprise. No matter what question you ask, you'll likely receive a bizarre and unhelpful response. And, to make matters worse, you might even receive threats to block you from further support.
Overall, it's hard to recommend this website to anyone. The program might not offer anything new or unique, and the customer service is downright terrible. It's a shame that a website that claims to help people with sleep problems would treat their customers so poorly. If you're looking for a better option, you might want to look elsewhere.
Disappointing Experience with CBTforInsomnia's Premium Program: A Review
I done signed up for the fancy Premium CBTi program from cbtforinsomnia.com. I went through the whole 5 week program, keepin' track of my sleepin' and sendin' it in for review.
Now, I ain't gonna lie, there ain't much in this program that you can't find on the interwebs already. They tell you to keep a sleep diary and restrict your sleep, but that's old news to anyone who's been strugglin' with insomnia. The CBT part of the program is pretty thin, and I'm surprised they even call it that, 'cause it ain't really featured much in the material they give ya.
But my biggest beef is with the email feedback. It came late and was all over the place, tellin' me to follow different sleep schedules from one week to the next (when the main thing they recommend is keepin' a consistent sleep schedule). And when I asked a question, the answer they gave me was some link to a blog that had nothin' to do with what I asked. And when I called 'em out on it, the person who responded was real rude and condescending. It was pretty dang shocking, and it made me think that "Dr. Gregg Jacobs" should have his license taken away. Overall, it was a pretty bad experience.
