Carriage House Country Club review: Time Share

We would like to file a complaint against David Grish, President of The Carriage House Country Club, for his lack of communication and failure to cancel our timeshare.

We have been struggling to sell our timeshare for quite some time now. We have tried to find potential buyers but to no avail. This has put a considerable strain on our finances, especially given that we are on a fixed income at present. Despite our best efforts, the market for timeshares seems to be unfavorable, which has left us feeling hopeless.

During the sales pitch, we were only presented with one representative who made the timeshare sound incredibly good. However, we soon found out that there were several shortcomings that we were not informed about. For instance, we were promised a restaurant on the property, but it was hardly ever open. Moreover, despite requesting a week at Virginia Beach or any other beach area six to seven months in advance, we were unable to secure the desired reservation.

Our age and recent health issues make long-distance travel challenging for us, and I am personally experiencing eye problems that make driving difficult. As such, we have no use for the timeshare any longer. We understand that we have a contractual obligation to this company, but our circumstances have changed since we signed the agreement. We ask to be released from the contract so that we can have some peace of mind.

Unfortunately, despite repeated attempts to communicate with David Grish and The Carriage House Country Club, we have not received any response. We find their lack of communication and failure to address our concerns disrespectful and unprofessional.

We urge you to take appropriate action against David Grish and The Carriage House Country Club to resolve this matter as soon as possible. We appreciate your assistance in finding a resolution to this issue.
