Switched to Capitol from an American competitor. Since then the response time on my alarm seems to be quicker, the new keypad looks like an Ipad on my wall. Any service issues, we had one, were dealt with immediately

I have had an alarm for 5 years with Fluent. *** from Capitol Security knocked on my door, and upgraded my system and added cameras for the same price as I was paying Fluent. Technicians were really good, very impressed. Have had one service call since, customer service was very quick, highly recommend

Just switched over from an American competitor and was quite happy with the install. *** walked me through every step of removing the old equipment and the install of the new. He was very helpful. Much better touch screen monitor now and very easy to navigate. Works with our doorbell, locks and the addition of outside cameras. I look forward to adding the garage door opener and thermostat soon!

verify everything a sales rep from capitol securities tells you before signing a contract,I could write the problems i am having and what the sales rep said versus what actually is transpiring however capitol securities denies complaints made to the ComplaintsBoard.com that sales reps never said what people are saying.its deny deny deny..(customers usually dont complain without good reasons) would also think twice before signing a contract on a hard tablet (wording can be changed) sign only a hard copy and keep one..

I was with an existing security company when a sales representative showed up on my door and said since my current security company had moved their offices to Utah, they had sold of my account to another company. He made it sound like ***/Capitol Securities was this company and that this was part of the transfer. I found out too late that much of the information I was given was misleading and incomplete, and that Capitol was not taking over my current system but instead this was part of what they called a Competitor Switch Over in which I would need to cancel my current contract and pay the penalty to switch over to Capitol. NONE of this information was explained to me at the time I signed their contract. Now I am in contract with 2 security companies and will have to pay hundreds of dollars to get out. I am very disappointed with ***/Capitol and how they go about getting clients.

This company lied to get me to sign a contract, but I did sign it. They charged me for 5 years of service and I only received 4 months (i think) of service. I paid off the full amount and they continue to contact me by phone and email for a fully paid balance. I have repeatedly contacted them but to no avail.

Capitol Security solicited our business to provide security services. On Feb 13th, 2020 they installed a number of devices which they would monitor as part of a 60 month contract, but did not have 2 dome cameras available and were to order and instal them at a later day. To date we have not received any cameras. In addition to various attempts to contact the company regarding these cameras, we provided telephone and email notification that we wanted to discontinue the contract based on the lack of responsiveness. June 17th we further provided written notification as indicated in the contract that we were invoking the buyer's right to cancel clause for goods/services not being delivered within 30 days of the contract. They are now claiming to have installed the cameras despite all the evidence we have put forth to the contrary.

On June 2 and Agent came to my door and said he was here because Of my Alarm Company (***). He then put his foot in the door and said let me explain. As he entered my home he said your current alarm company is leaving Canada and I'm here to offer you a Canadian owned company to replace ***. (*** is not leaving) I was very worried about losing my house alarm so I listened to him, he said he would give me 4 months free and then the monthly cost would be $34.99 a month plus tax. the contract turns out to be $44.99 plus tax. with his Alarm I couldn't even see who was at the door on the wall panel, only by Cell. I tried to tell his head office and they said he denies it all but I have a lot of proof***. I spoke to RCMP today, they said I did it right..

The company sent out a salesman to our area to I assume get more business. Mr *** knocked on our door he said he was here to replace the old equipment we had with *** and well he was here he started to sell us on a company named *** and they are an Edmonton based company he said he could give us a better rate so we thought stay local is good and so we signed but a representative came out for *** and asked what happened then he said he could give it to us for less then a day later the salesman for *** ( later found out he actually worked for Capitol) came back out and said no problem he would match it. So we thought it was done but then we got our bill and it was for the original price (we were communicating with *** because they sent us the bill, was confused who did what) . We have been in contact with Capitol and they say the salesman no longer works there and you are not getting that price because how are they to confirm this. They are not trying to resolve this with us. I feel I have been taken advantage of and their salesman at the time misrepresented himself to get our business.

On August 26th ,2020 a Representative from Ctol ***. *** came. to my resident . He lied to me and tell me that my Present. Alarm Company *** has sold out to his Company Ctol securities. *** stated that all I needed. to do was. sign the paper work he is giving me , Continue paying *** for another 6 months until the final agreement took place between both companies. I also ask *** if. I was able to cancel at anytime which he. responded. yes. Now to be told I am in. a 60months contract. What is unfortunate I was in-between my work and did that not read the papers he gets m e to false signed. Upon discovery a few months later I received a letter in the mail stating I needed to start paying c***tol I was alarmed I then Called my ***. who stated. that all that was a lie and that. I still have an. Existing contract with them until July . I have been in communication with Ctol who refuses to help me sort this out as they kept telling me I am bound. by a contract. The. only services c***tol monitors right now is my door sensors as they have screwed with all other services I previously had from ***.

We have a security system with the company ***. Last July, we were approached at our home by a salesperson from Capitol Security. He led us to believe that Capitol was taking over or buying out *** and that Capitol would ensure better service because they are a Canadian company. We were to continue paying *** until August . After March , Capitol would send us a cheque for 6 months and begin taking payments. We gave them the authority to automatically withdraw from our bank chequing account. The cheque was so that we did not pay 2 companies for the same period of time. The problem is that our contract with *** is not complete until August 2022. The math was wrong. I should have caught it in the small print, but did not. I have spoken with the salesperson who told me this happened to 3 or 4 other customers in our area and Capitol is looking into some sort of compromise. Since I talked to him, in early February, I have not been able to reach him again. I have left messages with no reply. Last week, I spoke to the receptionist who said she would get either the salesperson or their supervisor to contact me, but again nothing has happened. Capitol did not buy out or amalgamate with ***. They are 2 separate companies.
