I purchased a Samsung galaxy 3 for $259 on virgin mobiles website. Within days I couldn't hear anyone I was talking to on the phone because it kept breaking up, my text messages failed and I'd have to resend them at least 7 times. I have zero bars but according to them I am in an excellent coverage area. And when I get on the internet it loses the connection after 5 min. I asked for another phone since my NEW one was still under warranty. You know what they sent me back? A USED refurbished phone worth a whole lot less than what I paid for my new phone. I purchased 2 Top-up cards for a hot spot device that I bought the same night at Walmart. Both products from Virgin Mobile. stated that my area was covered by their service, which it wasn't. I returned the device to Walmart and contacted Virgin Mobile. I was told by an employee of theirs, Cookie, on 12/4/13 that a check would be mailed to compensate me for the cards and that I would receive it within 14 days. She gave me a case # 39917042. This company is a joke. I have had this service for not even a year. Since day one, I have had problems with their phones. I have already had 6 replacement phones, promised the last 3 times I was going to get an upgraded phone due to the crappy phones they keep sending me- never happened. Virgin Mobile has to be the worst service provider in the world!!!

For the second time in a year, Virgin Mobile has stopped sending me itemised billing, even though I am charged for this "service".

The reason the gave for the last time for non delivery, was that they lost my email address - even though I am a client of theirs since 1999!!!
They eventually refunded me for the months that they did not send me the billings statements.

This time around, theyt have not even answered my email letter to them via their "Customer Care"...

Hey I have bern trying the past 2 days on response from virgin mobile last week wednesday they offered me a contract from one of the outbound companies they said it wil be delivered in 7 days on monday when I called virgin mobile to find out about delivery they cant find it on their system. They send through a email for reaponse on yesterday from the outbound company and still no response im waiting for my handset. I recently sent my phone to get repaired as it was switching itself off, randomly ringing contacts and the screen was freezing that I couldn't go back to the menu or on anther page. Virgin Mobile - Still billing me for cancelled contracts

I have cancelled my contracts(inactive ) more than 2 years ago, in various ways but still im being debited for them always random amounts for more than two and a half years.(still hasn't been corrected)
Phoning doesn't help as no one ever answers and when they do they keep posting me through from department to department till im conveniently cut off.
I haven’t paid my account for two months now as I have done the math and my third line was paid off more or less the same time I cancelled the other lines(as you debit whatever the hell you want)
And you owe me money...

3 years ago I got 2 Virgin contracts, both phones where stolen with my bag followed the whole procedure of getting affidavits, cancelling the numbers ect, I experienced extreme frustration with the virgin mobile staff that I ended up cancelling both contracts.

I then got told I need to pay +- R4300 in order to cancel my contracts, so I MADE payments arrangements and STUCK to them but they STILL handed me over to Select online, in January 2012 I settled my owing amount IN FULL it then took numerous of emails to get a confirmation letter stating I have cleared my debt.

I cancelled my 3 daughter's contracts after maturity and still got debited for the accounts after cancellation. I have 3 reference nr's as proof. I send back the debit order and Virgin mobile cancelled my services. It took several calls, e-mails and complaints on their website to finally get the cancellations accepted. One of the operators told me that she could see that the contracts were cancelled but the cancellations were never input in the system.
My current contract matures 07/05/2013 and I tried several times to call 129 to cancel my contract after maturity. I also send mails...

My husband passed away, I contacted Virgin Mobile to let them know, explained I wanted to take over the phone as the number means a great deal to the family, we have had the number for years.
They asked for the Death certificate, Drivers license, and Medicare card from me to be faxed to them, I did so and also with that provided my Birth Certificate and Marriage Certificate to show that I am the person they are speaking to, proof of that.

I now have no phone service thanks to Virgin Mobile. I wanted to upgrade to a smartphone, from their service to the upgraded service. The upgrade failed. The old phone won't work. The new phone won't work. I'm out of luck with a sick mother who is 85 years old living 400 miles away. I will go get another phone tomorrow and do what I can to send this phone back. It may not be the phone but I'll never use Virgin Mobile again.
Basically only deal with Virgin Mobile if you really don't need a phone. If you actually might need one, don't count on it....

Do not get a Virgin Mobile phone. They have no real customer service. It takes a very long time to get passed the all of the computer generated questions before you get someone and all they say is they are sorry. I have the same complaint as many other the caller ID on my phone is not my name. For 8 months I have heard how sorry they are for "my problem"... Do yourself a big favor and stay away from this company that has almost as many complaints as they have customers....

Approximately 1 month I was not able to access my payment history. I was told that it was due to a computer system upgrade but it would be repaired in a few hours. Today I have checked again and the problem is still there. First of all let me say...I have a landline, I only utilize the cell phone if I am going out since it's good to have if you ever need a phone. I don't have a fancy smart phone just a very basic phone through Virgin Mobile...I've had it for a few months now...and I just add minutes as I need them in minimal increments. I have a Virgin Mobile pre paid account I use for business. I have had brochures and other promotional materials printed with the phone number 832-515-7243 on them. Every time I make a call someone else’s name appears in the caller ID. I am losing customers because they do not know who is calling or why. I have tried to get this resolved for over 8 weeks. The customer service is terrible and non-responsive. I recommend that this company be prohibited from doing business in the US. It has to be the worst phone company around and sho7uld not be granted an FCC license to operate....

I was sold a virgin mobile SIM card, they installed it in my phone, activated successfully the account.
I bought a prepaid 1year plan. The phone never got connected. Apparently it is not compatible. So I had to buy a new phone from them.
I believe that the account should not have been activated successfully, if my phone is not compatible.
