The number of bars/reception was low in my area but in the past few months has gone to where I can no longer receive or make text messages and or calls. I called their customer service line and was told that my area was not considered a "problem" area in spite of the fact that you can't get any reception. They said they would look into it and get back to me within 24 hrs. Within 24 hrs I received a text message stating they were "working on it" on it would be resolved in 24-48 hrs. The new $80.00 10 gig promo Verizon is running stating that each phone on the edge program is $15 a month is very misleading. I have been a faithful Verizon customer for many years because they have the best service we I live. They are hands down the most expensive cell phone provider around. My complaint is that they are offering this promo and its borderline false advertising. n November I purchased a Droid Turbo from Verizon. It immediately had problems and they did a warranty replacement. Then I had problems again within a few months (phone overheating shutting off etc) and they replaced with a refurbished one. I started having problems again a few weeks ago and they had me do a factory reset. The problems subsided somewhat but then it started randomly shutting off again. Cell phone plastic started breaking. Went to store to get a replacement. First they charged us $40 just to turn it on when we were already on a active account. Knowing that our contract was going to expire on January 24, 2014, we planned to port our lines to another provider so it would simultaneously happen with the termination date. I noticed that mine and my wife's plan went from around $140 per month to around $180/month in Nov and Dec 2014. We have been with verizon wireless for years on an unlimited data plan. We passed up on eligible upgrades since we thought our phones were still ok. This year, we decided to finally upgrade our old phones. In august of 2014 i called verizon to cancel my mobile phone- i lost my job and could no longer afford the bill. Instead, i was told, i could suspend my service for up to six months as to not pay a cancelation fee. i opted for the suspension, knowing i would be back on my feet by then and thought it was covered.

I now have a letter from collections saying i owe $473.13.

My mom is in her 80s. We thought she needed a cell phone just in case she could not get in contact with anyone. We had 4 cell phones in our family and just added a phone line to our account with a 2 year contract. Well right away she did not want the phone and never used it. We had to live out the 2 year contract or pay hundreds of dollars to disconnect the line. The people at the Verizon store told me that we could disconnect the phone online. When I purchased my smart phone in the HB store they told me the cheapest way to get it was bundling with another phone - that the price would be substantially less. I changed our family cellular plan of 4 lines with 700 minutes shared on May2, 2014 after several years.
My intention was to change to the new all share plan with unlimited time, unlimited text, and 2 GB shared.
While changing in my windows mobile phone, I was misled and ended up with a wrong plan unintentionally. The website was confusing. I realized something had gone wrong.

I have been a VZ subscriber for many years. On May 2, 2014, the last day of my billing cycle I tried to change my4 line family wireless plan from the previous 700 min share plan with total bill of about @203 monthly to ALL SHARE PLAN with 2GB and unlimited voice and text.

We have been a Verizon Wireless for 8 years now. We have a new phone covered under full factory warranty, that will not work.
After 3 phone calls of trouble shooting on Tuesday, it was determined that a full replacement would be necessary . Costumer service
set up for next day delivery. Needless to say it never arrived. Another call on Wednesday with costumer service. Phone set up fed ex for Thursday. Once again for, we started over for delivery Friday, then for Saturday. Now Saturday, no phone, no supervisor to speak to after 33min of hold. Ready to cancel my service and move on....
