Ok, I have something I need and want to rant about because I want everyone to know just how bad Verizon is to the general public: On Sunday I proceeded to place an order for two iPhones and am on the edge up plan so one of the phones was not quite 50% paid off so they took our bank card and we paid the remainder of the 50% that was due on the phone. Verizon Wireless has blatantly lied to me in their Huntington Beach Store as well as their phone customer service.
When I purchased my smart phone in the HB store they told me the cheapest way to get it was bundling with another phone - that the price would be substantially less. Almost one year later I found out that this was a blatant lie - it was not cheaper - it was more expensive. Then after several calls to customer service I was told that the phone could be disconnected without a disconnect fee. Now I find out that they are charging me for the disconnect fee. I closed my account with Verizon many years ago. All of a sudden I am getting calls from a bill collector about said account. I filed a dispute a it shows up on my credit report. I wrote verizon personally and the letter got back from them stated they will not remove my account from my credit report until I pay it. Again. I ha the receipt for about a year as it turned black and the ink fades after about 8 months. Completed contract in March, and called to terminated service. Cells phones were deactivated at that time, as was my online verizon account. I have continued to be billed. I have called many, many times. At the completion of every conversation with a customer service rep, I am assured that the matter has been handled to my satisfaction. I changed our family cellular plan of 4 lines with 700 minutes shared on May2, 2014 after several years.
My intention was to change to the new all share plan with unlimited time, unlimited text, and 2 GB shared.
While changing in my windows mobile phone, I was misled and ended up with a wrong plan unintentionally. The website was confusing. I realized something had gone wrong.

After a few hrs, I called Customer Service about this. The error was fixed to the correct plan I desired.
However the billing I received after a few days showed $371.xx, way more than correct...

I have been a VZ subscriber for many years. On May 2, 2014, the last day of my billing cycle I tried to change my4 line family wireless plan from the previous 700 min share plan with total bill of about @203 monthly to ALL SHARE PLAN with 2GB and unlimited voice and text.
While I changed in mobile site early morning I was confused by what happened. I discovered something had gone wrong.

We have been a Verizon Wireless for 8 years now. We have a new phone covered under full factory warranty, that will not work.
After 3 phone calls of trouble shooting on Tuesday, it was determined that a full replacement would be necessary . Costumer service
set up for next day delivery. Needless to say it never arrived. Another call on Wednesday with costumer service. Phone set up fed ex for Thursday. Once again for, we started over for delivery Friday, then for Saturday. Now Saturday, no phone, no supervisor to speak to after 33min of hold. Ready to cancel my service and move on....

I bought an iPhone on 1/4/2014. At the time I added the Wireless Protection Program. After careful consideration, I realized that it was going to make finances to tight to keep the phone as much as I liked it. I called Verizon and the Sales Associate that sold it to me was very accommodating. I explained that I really liked it but knew it wasn't feasible for me to keep it. Returning the iPhone the very next day was a "Walk In The Park" compared to trying to get this Protection Program cancelled. I switched to Verizon back at the end of October and they were supposed to transfer my phone # over from T-Mobile. Not only did they fail to do so, but they changed my phone # without notifying me of their failure to transfer my old #, but they also failed to inform me of the new phone #. 2 months later I realized that I wasn't getting any calls or messages, because I was looking to switch jobs ad Thanksgiving was rolling around. I was talking to a live agent who ended the chat after promised into looking for an iPhone 4 in CPO (certified pre-owned) and then just ended the chat. 2 years ago when I upgraded my phone Verizon dropped, without informing me, my nationwide calling. I didn't notice this until I traveled and received an $80 overcharge for roaming. Verizon did credit my account. But now want me to provide proof that I ever had nationwide calling. When I provided proof with an old (paper, got to love it) bill, they want additional proof, a bill from my original contract in 2001.
Verizon states they cannot get into their old records.

My wife's cell phone bill is past due. Trying to pay. However, unless I have a password, I can't get through to anyone. Their chat service is extremely slow (probably chatting with multiple people at one time). All their online services require this password. Even when I got a phone number, guess what they wanted, that darned password.

Yea, people are costly. But so is customer dissatisfaction.

A friend suggested I try Home-Phone Connect which is a cheap wireless device from Verizon Wireless for a home phone. It's supposed to be 19.99 a month unlimited calling, with a connection fee of $35 and the device is free.
When I got the device, every time I went to use the phone, there was not an available line. Not to mention it sounded like I was talking into a tin can. It was horrible. On July 3rd, I called about my wife's Samsung Tablet not holding a charge. I received a return box a few days later and sent it back on July 8th. According to the tracking number, VERIZON received on July 11th. I was told by the tech that I should, SHOULD, receive it, OR a replacement within about 2 weeks.
On July 22nd, I called VERIZON to "inquire" about the tablet since I had not heard anything. I was given a number to Samsung, who had no clue what I was talking about. So, I called VERIZON back, found out that the original tech put the incorrect information in the system....
