I contracted with Sears to remodel my kitchen, install new dishwasher, microwave oven and garbage disposal in May, 2014. The appliances were delivered fine...working fine...the problem is the kitchen cabinets. The laminate install was door so poorly that there are huge air bubbles underneath the cabinets, chipped and broken edges, and on one cabinet there is a footprint where they stepped on it. I ordered cabinets without handles and now I cannot open the cabinets because they were not measured properly and I cannot get my fingers in the cabinet tops to open them. I will never use Sears Home Improvement again nor will I ever recommend them. Although the sub-contractor they used was excellent, the services provided by SEARS themselves was completely lousy. They advertise that they take over all the project management-wrong. I finally got so disgusted I took it over myself. They don't answer messages or emails in a timely manner. The worst home improvement I've ever experienced in my life. After giving a deposit on May15 2013, I still do not have a door. Ordered the door wrong three times. I have been working the telephones for a few dhous Sears t resolution of at least three issues:
- I just today received the Warranty, however, the letter was backdated to 24 October. Since there is a time limit for registering the equipment for the warrant I find the practice of back dating the letter offensive to say the least.
- More importantly, the equipment that I purchased I not included in the list on the warranties therefore this paperwork appears to be inaccurate. I suspect that if the equipment is not listed (although there are over 25 other model numbers listed) the warranty...

July 17 a Sears Home Improvement salesman came to our home to give us an estimate on garage door. We signed the papers to purchase one with installation to take place between August 15-30th. Another guy came out and took measurements about 3 weeks after said purchase. Our bathroom remodeling is taking more than 5 months. Sears hired an incompetent plumber who messed up the plumbing, but when we complained about drainage problems, sewer backup, failed city inspection due to his poor job, Sears sits on each issue for months. It just does not return phone calls or emails for weeks and months.

Sears Home Improvement installed siding on my home. The work occurred during a time when i had emergency surgery and was unable to inspect the project completely. Prior to contracting for the project, when I met with the salesman he specifically agreed to see that front columns maintain the shape and form of the wood. I had my vinyl windows installed by Sears Home Improvement several years ago. Recently, a few of the windows needed to be repaired. Unsurprisingly, the repairs were non-covered in the warranty agreement. So, I paid for the cost of the repairs. Amazingly, their contractor affiliate took two months to complete the repairs. This process normally takes 2-4 weeks, based upon prior experience. Wow, I'm so surprised I haven't come across this board before but I had the absolute worst experience with Sears in the last 3 weeks. I would absolutely not recommend them. Here are all the problems that I encountered:
1. Had someone come over with the initial plan - tried to put in an order via him.
