Well let me tell you! that when I order this MagicJack, I only order One and got charge the normal amount $46.90, later on the same week I got charge again $39.95 (I say why?) I try calling and I was on hold for 56 minutes with the same recording OVER and OVER again. I say to my self!! I recently purchased Magic Jack.
I really think it's a wonderful product.
Although it's a great product I had to chose the closest city to me and it's Morgantown, WV.
Well needless to say I live in Oak Hill, WV, 95 miles away.
And even my closest neighbors have to dial long distance to call me.
Why isn't there a place in Beckley, Charleston or somewhere closer that my own neighbors 1o miles away don't have to call long distance?
I can hook up a mic to my computer and d better than that!
Great service and a wonderful product...

I ordered two Magicjacks through internet using my visa credit card from Pakistan with delivery to be made at my permanant residence at 1156 trails edge youngstown ohio 44425 having telephone number 330-759-9659. The transaction was made some 15 days ago. The order number was printed but somehow it did not print in the printable area of the page, therefore, it can only be located by my name as mentioned on my credit card 'shahid a. malik'. I used my magicjack for 4 months then i had an issue with my headset. Magicjack sent me another unit that was going to be billed if i did not return the original one. Anyways the problem was the headphones not the jack.

Returned it and received confirmation the other day that they received it.

Yesterday Jan.4/10 I plugged in my magic jack and it stated we have an up date for you, Wait till finished.

That was the operative word finished! It upgraded and after 3 hours in total with there csr's. They are certain my problem is that I use Nero for burning...

magic jack is a horrible product!
I wouldnt suggest it to anyone.
Not only did I get this product online, only to find out that they didnt have canadian phone numbers, but when i contacted them through their support, they said that as soon as canadian phone number became available that I would be able to change my magic jack phone number to one of those numbers.
That was an absolute LIE!
not only will they not allow me to change my phone number now that they have canadian phone numbers, but they always refuse to give you a phone number so you can talk to someone instead...

Magicjack seemed like an inexpensive way to save money on the phone bill, but instead, it has been one huge headache. The line is constantly making crackle noises and the other end cannot hear what you are saying. I called magicjack and they said my computer was too old for the product. My computer is 43 days new! The customer service rep was annoying and rude and insisted that the problem was at my end and not magicjacks'. After surfing the web and also talking to people who have also had magicjack, there should be a class lawsuit against them. I'm glad I'm a network administrator...

I did...it says on the site, in nice big letters..."your CC will not be charged for 30 days" It does not say anywhere "the funds will be put on hold for the 30 days". Then when you want to cancel it, it will take an hour. Then they can do it. THEN when you get a new person, it's 24 hours. When you argue the point they then cancel it (according to them and a really questionable e-mail) it's canceled. Now about your money... gonna take a few days to get the "HOLD" off your funds... Doesn't matter that you may need those funds for something else...No. They can charge you in less than...

I purchased a Magicjack in May 2008. There were always problems hearing clearly BUT the day I ordered it, I also purchased the additional 5 years, not knowing that it would not work. After using the original unit, I tried to return it because it would not work properly. But I was slightly beyond the 30 days. So, I purchased another unit and returned the one that did not work... after the technical rep agreed to this.

However, my additional 5 year purchase was never transferred to the new unit. On top of that, the NEW Unit has never worked properly either. I am very disappointed with...

For me it didn't work since the beginning. I contacted the MJ technician and after 40 minutes MJ worked, then when I made the calls, the sound wasn't clear, and suddenly the communication was gone. When I received phone calls, my friends couldn't hear me clearly. Then I contacted the tech again and I was told to change my phones for a different brand that were compatible with MJ. I purchased Magicjack at Kohl's for about $50.00 It worked fine on my brand new iMac for about 4 months until the error "Broken Storage" appeared on boot up and I was unable to fix it despite attempting to do so on my macintosh and windows partitions. I can get it to work "occasionally" on windows, but this machine is a mac. Fixing it on windows and booting up with a mac will "break" the storage again. Please save yourself the headache and skip this piece of crap. How come it worked fine for 4 months is what I would like to know....

The magicjack sounded so promising and I became very excited about it. I called the number that was on the infomercial and placed in my order. I wanted 3 magicjacks but I did not realize that when we place in our orders we are required to use credit cards and not debit cards. But still I made my orders. Now whenever orders are made with debit cards I was told that the full amount must be charged on debit cards.

I went into my bank account and realized that my account is in the negative. My question is why are we being charged the full amount when debit cards are just the same as...

I was excited o cut my phone bill with MagicJack supposedly endorsed by national media companies and PC magazine.

The flyer in the mail stated it would cost $49.95. I called and through an automated system ordered the free trial for 30 days in which I would not be billed until the end of 30 days.

It turned out that each MagicJack cost $49.95 and in the email invoice it stated:
"Free Trial Jacks will not be billed to your credit card until the **30 Day Free Trial expires. We will however place an authorization on your credit card (may appear as "pending charge")...

I went online to buy this - currently I have Vonage (who I am very happy with) but was looking for a cheap soft second line for a fax that I rarely use. As usual, they tell you on the 31st day if it is not returned you will be charged $41.60. I figured returning it would be a nightmare, but wouldn't be out much money

IMMEDIATELY a hold was put on my Chase card for $93.80. This was Saturday, this is Wednesday night so I am not overly concerned as the hold has to fall off. I will make sure I inform Chase not to let it be renewed.

I bought Magicjack at a local Radioshack outlet. When calling, the answering party could not hear me repeatedly to several different callers. I got on line with customer service and, to make a long story short, after 8 customer service agents and nearly 9 hours on line with them, we still had the same problem. These people do not know what they are doing and/or their product simply does not work and they are a scam. I am going to return my magicJack this am and if I cannot get my $$$ back, I am filing a complaint with the state division of consumer fraud in Olympia....

After I place a FREE trial order, tried to contact the company to change my order from 2 units to 1. They said they had no record of my order. I did not receive the Confirmation Email promised. As others have experienced, I spent a lot of time with their Online Chat -- went through every issue in excruciating detail. Then I had to be transferred to a "higher level of support" to go through everything again.

The customer service experience was so painful and long that I decided to just cancel the entire order, realizing that I would not have adequate support if I got the product....

This was for a telephone unit that I received on a thirty-day trial period. I could not get it to work on my home computers. I returned it one week before the trial period terminated. I mailed it from Ireland. Further, they billed me twice for shipping. The unit has been returned within the trial-period and the charge is unfair and it should be reversed....
