HSN - Deffective Luggage

In March I purchased a 3pc set of Joy Mangano luggage from HSN. My purchased was made for an upcoming trip in June. I used the luggage once and the handle ripped from the duffle bag. I called HSN and they sent me to a "warranty" company, of which HSN owns and Joy is the president of...kind of fishy. The warranty company sends a label return the label, but I am NOT issued a refund, I am issued a HSN credit that I only have 30 days to use!!! After reading the reviews over 200 people complained of this same issue. Joy Mangano should be ashamed to have her name associated with such poor quality...

To say that I have ordered thousands and thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from HSN is an accurate statment!
I have never purchased any item over $79.00, ex a ring $79, 00 and didn't like it but returned it within!!! a week. Yes I have returned jewelry for size purposes.

Mind you I am not kidding I have purchased maybe $10000.00 worth of merchandise. My whole home is HSN stuff that I LOVE. I USED TO TELL EVERYONE ABOUT HSN!!!

On sept 30 i purchased ring with protection plan they had charged my acct. and now i was waiting for the protection plan in writing in mail. i ordered vitamins in june 2010 it was on auto ship and i was never told of that. when i seen the charge on my credit card months several months later i called they removed item and credit my account, then again i seen the same charge on my credit again months later and i called and was told that i had auutoship. and i cancelled that and had funds replaced in my account and now two years later and months of cancelling and talking to hsn and fedex. i was assured the situation was resolved and now i get a letter stating that they sent the charge to collection. i am highly upset. i have been speaking...

I returned few items back t o HSN and they still did not refund my money amounting to 902.55. And because it was purchased through HSN credit card issued by the world financial capital bank they refused charge back for me and I had to pay the whole balance for the products I returned. World financial capital bank sucks and beware they will take the side of HSN only. I also provided the tracking number that I returned those items but still wfcb took HSN’s side. Beware customers using HSN.com and their credit cards.

I purchase a 73 inch Mitsubishi TV and it was defective, called over 15 times to have it pickup, it’s been sitting in my hallway now for almost three weeks. HSN customer service stated that they have requested a pickup 5 times to their vendor with no avail, as well as no reply from their vendor Tiger Direct. Be advised that you have 30 days to return an electronic item, after that your out of luck, and as you can see the 30 day mark is approaching? HSN shipped me the defective jewelries. So I called customer services and spoke to the supervisor. His name is Steve, no last name here, they don't want to show their last name on their email as well. Steve told me that he had waived the EZ return labels and I sent those orders back to them along with the others. When their return department processed the refund, they used those EZ return labels and deducted the fees out from my the other orders which were defective as well. I had tried to save them the fees and put them together in one package and they turned around and charged those fees...

The home shopping network is a complete fraud! I started the order process…my order was canceled…nobody at HSN knows why but yet the money was taken from my account. I reordered several times and spoke with several SUPERVISORS who all assured me they would fix the problem but each SUPERVISOR had a different excuse for WHY the order was CANCELED. These people don’t have a CLUE what is going on. At one point they had held 4 times the amount they were supposed to hold and then you have to wait (in my case one week) before your funds are available but yet your order was canceled....

I ordered a gateway quad core laptop from HSN with my HSN card was on a Today's Special so got it for a real good price. Ordered it on 3/12/11 said estimated arrival date 3/31/11. HSN will not accept returns that were Christmas gifts if you purchased them prior to October 1st. That's insane! I can return things to QVC, Kohls, Penneys, etc. with no problem as long as it is returned in January and have done so. They are sending my items back to me. It's stupid of them to lose a customer and pay for return shipping (and I used their return label so they've paid to send it twice) rather than give me a refund. I've canceled my membership and will no longer order from them. I suggest anyone else be careful about doing their Christmas shopping early, or any shopping...

Purchased a pocket video camera from HSN and because I purchased it more than 30 days before Christmas, they refused to exchange or allow me to return it for a refund. Personally in this time of lost jobs, lost homes and higher prices - I think that a policy that causes people who put faith in a company to be out of their hard-earned money and to be left with unusable products is shameful and dishonest. I ordered a tv and placed it on my cc with the 4 payment flex payment option. I had more than enough credit available. I noticed two days later that the same item was now only available with 1 or 2 payment option. On day 3 after I placed the order, I received a call from their security department. HSN cancels purchase because they say they had the wrong expiration date, so therefore I lost my purchase which sold out and was a special value with free shipping on easy pay.

The promo was a $20 discount on first purchase when opening a new CC account. I was approved and the account was linked instantly so the purchase went through. Anyone dealing with HSN who is financed through WFCB needs to be aware that they need to mail a check at least 10 days before a payment is due because you will not be given credit for a payment on the day they get the check;; but rather on the day that your check clears your bank. This is a scam and is done to collect late fees on unsuspecting customers. The big banks get a reputation for a reason and I will cancel my account so the thieves don't get any more of my money....

I agree totally with ALL of the complaints. I also purchased Ultrex Convection Oven and it caught on fire. HSN sells HORRIBLE electrical products. The only thing that still works is the Joy M. My Little Steamer. The Ultrex product line is simply garbage. I will never buy anything that plugs in from HSN. Better yet, they have permanently lost a longtime customer. I don't even watch the channel anymore so I won't be tempted. I will check with my attorney friend to see how to start a class action lawsuit against HSN. I am unable to order any items from HSN because my address has been blocked from ordering. Apparently someone else at this address owes HSN a lot of money, and it is their policy to block thae address from ordering to protect themselves. However, I live in an apartment building in NYC with over 70 apts. I gave tthem my apt # to show this. However, while the supervisor I spoke with sympathized with me, he said they would TRY to get the block removed for me, which would take 3 to 5 business days--but could not make any guarantees. I returned a computer router to HSN within 7 days of receiving it viaUSPS. Didn't hear from them, they can't find my return. Didn't use tracking nor insurance. Dumb me. So i'm out $95 plus $9 postal charge. I'm sure its sitting in a warehouse in Comptom California waiting to be processed.
The item in question is being sold for $20 less today at Wal-Mart. So I'm really a doofus....

Handles on pots on Innova cookware guaranteed for 50 years have detached from pots. This product purchased from HSN with a warranty and now they are not standing behind their product claiming company is out of business. I did not purchase the product from Innova, I purchased the product from HSN and they do not honor their guarantees. Do not purchase from HSN dishonest and not a reputable company....
