Holiday inn / 24 Hour Cancellation Policy

Business travelers schedules are subject to change during the work week. The hotels used to have no problem making hotel reservation changes, but the hotels are being stiff necked about making a cancellation when a cancellation is needed. Holiday Inn and Hamption Inn have allowed a cancellation up to 6pm of the day of arrival. Not so now, so TRAVELLER BEWARE! These greedy hotels would rather piss off customers and charge for an overnight stay when business travel plans change. I'm going to drive more this year instead of wasting my money at Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express and Hampton Inn

A bout 3:15 pm on Monday Oct 26 2015 I was on parsons Ave in Columbus Ohio one of your company vans pulled in to traffic with out looking causing me to a stop suddenly I blew my horn they then slammed 0n there brakes. then to be more professional they made obscene hand gesture . I did not see a unit number but I did get the tag number Ohio PIR 7898. I hope this is not the way you let your drivers behave.

This Holiday inn located at 275 South Airport Blvd in South San Francisco Ca, 94080 the name of the general manager is Mr David Cola him and the housekeeping manager get together in the morning read the reviews from the guest and the ones that are bad reviews the house keeping manager goes to the floors where the maids are uses their phones to send fake reviews to the GM with code numbers eg.336745 and this fake reviews are done every morning round about 9 t0 11am some of the rooms look like a motel they provide in rooms with 2 beds one towel and one soap guest check in pairs, exhaust fan...

I went to the Harrisburg, Pa. airport on October 10, 2015 to catch my flight to Charlotte, NC. for a connecting flight there to Melbourne, Fl. I sat there and waited for awhile and then was informed that due to bad storms in the area on the previous days my flight was delayed. I was thrown out of the hotel in front of guests and employees by the manager name Robert, he commented that I had lied about my stay in March of 2012, I had voiced concerns about mold and dust in my room to 4 hotel employees. When I got my bill, they charged me $10/night (plus tax) more than my reservation rate. I had a printout of my reservation and pointed this out to the clerk who shrugged her shoulders and said she couldn’t change it. I asked if I could speak to a manager and she said, “she’s out.” Well, can I call her? “She said not to be disturbed.” I gave the clerk my email address and asked the manager to email me to explain why the overcharge, but she never did. My husband and I were traveling from Greenville nc to celebrate my 34th birthday And in the beginning when we first arrive we like what we saw and was very pleased since it was my birthday weekend my husband purchased the largest suite the hotel had with a jacuzzi room and we were looking forward to having fun all night w/o any kids (lol) but due to the inconvenience of an fire alarm going off at 1:30am and about 10 extra times through the nite we were unable to get any rest we paid over $280.00 for the room and will be asking for a reimbursement at check out, it was the worst stay we ever had we will never stay to this location again!!!

The exact same thing happen to me for a reservation I booked for the 2nd of April 2011. I notified them 24 hrs in advance of cancellation and was given a cancellation number by the hotel. Weeks passed and the charge was still on my credit card. I contacted Holiday Inn corporate HQs and their responds was that it was corporate policy to not refund money even if a cancellation number was provided by the hotel. I WILL NEVER AGAIN BOOK RESERVATIONS AT ANY HOLIDAY INN OR ANY ORGANIZATION THAT IS ASSOCIATED WITH THEM!!! If there is a Class Action law suit against them count me in.

I stayed in Holiday Inn Belgrade for 12 days and when I was about the check-out I was told that they can not accept any Euros or Dolars. Who in the world does not accept these currency!! I had very unpleasant experience with Holiday inn express customer service. I made reservation to stay one night on April 4th two and half weeks in advance through their website. When I looked up their rate by clicking "show Price" at TripAdviser, it shows the price by each travel websites and cancellation policies are mixed. My family and I were staying at the Holiday Inn Express, Searcy, AR, I entered the hotel through the pool area into the lobby. After stepping off the mat I slipped and fell, hitting my body on the breakfast bar as I went. Mgmt said I could go to my own doctor at home since I was in town briefly to see my terminally ill father. They also said the incident would be on their security cameras. Now, the bills haven't been honored and their insurance company is saying the "pictures" show caution signs were up (these went up after I fell) and no one seems to know where the security footage is. Reviewing other people's altercations with Holiday Inn, STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

A very bad phone conversation just occurred with me and a foreign representative trying to pass themself off as an American named Ann. Well, "Ann" believed that Boston was in Texas, that was my first hint that my complaint was not going to go far. As for being transferred to a representative in the USA, that wasn't going to happen. My niece had a business trip out of town and booked her stay at this hotel. She was exhausted after a long trip. She asked permission to eat breakfast in her room, and the waitress yelled at her and told her it was against hotel policy. She mentioned to the waitress that they could have been a little more flesxible with their business travelers, she was then gievn ten minutes to leave the hotel. This to me is racism in the fullest. Bedbugs over 15 bites on my toddler, I had multiple bites that were red swollen and looked like multiple rashes multiple bites on my guest that was visiting with me as well. Several phone calls to the same agent at the Covington Baton Rouge Holiday Inn. 4 days now... and no response from the manager. All I need is an receipt emailed to me! How hard is that?! Hilton can do it in two seconds... so can Marriot. For whatever reason the manager or desk clerk at this hotel puts the customer last when it comes to things as simple as a receipt. I made reservations thru HolidayInn.com in August 2009 for 3 rooms at $165.00 per room per night for this past weekend (May 7 - 9, 2010)for the Holiday Inn Batesville, MS. I recently made an online reservation with Holiday Inn Express. Their website clearly states that "a deposit for the entire stay" will be billed upon making the reservation. Since the definition of "deposit" in this situation is this: "down payment: a partial payment made at the time of purchase; the balance to be paid later, " of course I assumed that Holiday Inn knew what the word "deposit " actually means and that therefore they would be taking a "down payment, " or percentage of the total charge.
