AT&T consumers are asked to “Add or Change Services” online through “MyAT&T.” In November 2013, I removed the iPad data plan to save $50 each month. I decided that instead of paying for TWO data plans (for an iPhone and an iPad), I would retain only one for my iPhone. I would then “add” a HOTSPOT service which I could use with my iPad. This would reduce my costs. By removing the iPad

I have been a long-time customer of AT&T. In November, I signed up for automated payments through my bank account. In December, they took my automated payment out. Along with a late fee. How can an automated payment be late?!?! But with AT&T, it ob- viously can. Then in January, they did nothing. Then in February, they again did nothing. I have the same account at the same bank that I had when I began my automated payments. I verified with the bank whether AT&T had attempted any automated payments out of my account. The bank confirmed AT&T did not attempt to initiate any payments through my account...

I have tried to obtain service from AT&T...their demands are that I call them and if I had a phone...I would do that. An alternative is for me to visit their office about 6 miles away...and that is a long walk in the cold weather here.. Posted is a transcript of my online( yes I have online services, which makes this whole thing mystifying even to me) Live chat with them. All I really want is phone service, no grief.

I tried to order phone and DSL bundle via online AT&T website. The ticket was created but I received an email stating that DSL wasn't available. Over the course of the next THREE MONTHS, I made a series of phone calls and/or online order placements and kept being told that it was not available BUT...it was probably because I hadn't had the copper run to the house yet because it was new construction. Husband was working for company in Michigan 7 mos ago. Contract closed sent home, took pay cut struggled with phone bill. Yet we've always paid large bills sometimes carry overs bills. We have five lines, husband and three (kids) students, two away at college. The account is in my name and I've been with them for four years. Kicker is we were calling to pay this total bill that has since jumped from 1400, to 1700. A week ago, oh what number they've been reassigned and although you're a loyal customer. This complaint is for AT&T! I have purchased two Go Phones from them in the past month. The first Samsung Galaxy Express, the phone kept on shutting on and off by itself, so I went back to the Corporate owned store where I purchased the phone from, Originally I paid $250 for it plus $60 plan. So my total was over $300 plus local taxes of course. When I went back they told me that I would have to pay a 35$ restocking fee, which can be taken out of my total. What a rip off is that? Problem:

After I had my landline plan converted to a Home Wireless phone plan, there was an over billing of $71.64 for the prior landline service. The over payment was recognized by the billing staff and I was sent a statement showing a credit balance for the amount listed above.

The date on the statement was June 12-July 11, 2013. I called your customer service department in late July and requested the credit balance be returned to me.

I had two accounts with AT&T, they took two deposits one for 500$ and another for 300$. Eventually I decided to to close my accounts as I didn't have any contract obligations. So I closed both of them on 15th of May 2013.

Now, that how it suppose to be according to AT&T.

"If you cancel your account the security deposit is applied to the account balance. After all final charges have posted to the account, any remaining credit balance will be refunded. Cancelled accounts with an eligible credit balance are processed 60 days after the account has been cancelled....

AT&T is the WORST phone company i have EVER encountered. The phone calls get dropped 9 out of 10 times, the text messages will not go through or send, the internet is a f*****g JOKE and the so called "customer service" is so bad i want to kill myself. AT&T has taken all the joy and convenience from using a cell phone. They have the worst prices for family plans and you pretty much have to give them an arm and a leg to get an upgrade. I live at San Diego Square at 1055 9th Ave. My apartment faces C Street between 9th and 10th Street. There is a group of homeless people that camp out on your building. They are there 24 hours a day and sleep there every night. I have call the non-emergency number for the police and the street patrol. They do nothing to help with this problem. These people urinate, fight among their selves, and change clothes there. They constantly harass people for money and pee on the sidewalk.

I am receiving obscene calls on my cell phone from a blocked number. AT&T says that they can not trace a blocked number. In order for me to stop the calls from coming to my phone and for me to press charges against this person I need to know where the calls are coming from. We had been using AT&T DSL for our internet connection. We were told that we could upgrade to Uverse which would be more stable and faster than what we were using and also save a few dollars for the first year. It took three different times to get it installed and the speed is still the same as DSL, (about 5.7 Mbps on downloads). Now they say we can increase the speed if we pay for a higher priced package!
