My company has used bulk apothecary for a while now and from experience we know that they have terrible stock control issues. What that means is you need to call and talk with a manager to verify your item is in stock before you place your order or you will be out of money for a week to 1 month. Knowing that, We called Bulk Apothecary on 11/13 to verify that they had stock of the drum I was to order. I was placed on hold while the person got someone to check the warehouse and verify it was in stock. I was told they had "plenty of drums in stock". Pleased with that response I proceeded to place my order online. I asked if this could ship same day and they said no, but it for sure could ship in a few days as there was limited people in warehouse etc. After I placed my order, I immediately got an email showing receipt of my order. I simply replied to that email asking for shipping dimensions so I could send the BOL. On 11/14 I got the shipping dimensions , I asked about the nmfc code and didn't get a response back until 11/18, I then asked for the shipping hours to set up the BOL. on 11/22 I get an email saying they don't have any drums in stock. I then call and ask for a manager because at this point I am very frustrated. I paid for an item I was told was in stock and assigned to me so why now is my item not in stock and why am I only finding out now on the 22nd?! The manager Mackenzie says she will speak with the owners etc and try to locate a drum or do something to help us.. I don't get any calls back and I am the one who has to keep calling until today 11/25 at 2:51pm I finally get ahold of Mackenzie and she tell me there is nothing they can do and refund is only option for wait until new material comes in which I was told was in December. Bottom line is I placed my order on 11/13 and didn't get notified that my product was out of stock until 11/22. Any anyone dares dispute this I will post a link on dropbox to follow the email chain. Not One person emailed or called us to notify the product was out of stock until the 22nd! I warn EVERYONE to stay away from these people. They really need to get their stuff together and take the time to develop true stock control that ties into the website. There are COUNTLESS complaints online about them. Heed the warning people and STAY AWAY!
