Belvilla is a website where you can rent vacation homes. I recently used their service to book a place for my family's summer vacation. The process was pretty easy, but I did have some trouble with the website loading slowly at times. However, I was able to find a nice house that fit our needs and budget.

When we arrived at the house, we were pleased with what we saw. It was clean and spacious, with plenty of room for everyone. The only downside was that there were a few small issues, like a leaky faucet and a broken lamp. But we were able to contact the owner and they sent someone over to fix everything.

One thing that did bother me was that the kitchen was not very well-stocked. There were some basic utensils and dishes, but not much else. We had to go out and buy some things like a can opener and a cutting board. It would have been nice if the owner had provided those things for us.

Overall, I would recommend Belvilla to others looking for a vacation rental. Just be aware that there may be some minor issues with the property and that you may need to bring some of your own supplies. But if you're willing to overlook those things, you can find some great deals on some really nice properties.

I booked a villa through Homeaway and ended up with these fraudsters, BELVILLA. I had to cancel within my window, but despite sending numerous emails week after week, I received no reply. Their customer service won't even accept phone calls, which is extremely frustrating.

I strongly advise everyone to stay away from BELVILLA. They are not trustworthy and you won't get your money back. It's a complete waste of time and money dealing with them.

So, I rented a house in Borkel en Schaft for a family reunion, and it was through team Illse. Unfortunately, one of our family members fell and broke her hip, which meant that we had to cancel the booking. It was only six days between booking and cancelling, but the host took the full 1204 deposit. I was really disappointed with the lack of compassion and sympathy shown by the host, especially given the medical reasons for the cancellation. I would definitely advise against booking this home, and I wouldn't recommend using Belvilla either. Just be careful and make sure you're aware of the cancellation policy before you book anything.

Belvilla is a company that I would not recommend to anyone. I had a holiday booked in Wales that was unfortunately cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. I tried to contact them through emails, but they ignored me. When I called them, they fobbed me off on the phone and generally tried to avoid paying the refund I was owed. It was really frustrating because I needed the money due to losing my job to the pandemic.

It took over 3 months to get my refund back and only because I contacted PayPal and they intervened. I was really disappointed with the way Belvilla handled the situation. It was a difficult time for everyone and they should have been more understanding.

I hope that Belvilla will improve their customer service in the future. It's important to treat customers with respect and to be transparent about refunds and cancellations. I would advise anyone to think twice before booking with Belvilla.

I recently tried booking a family holiday through Belvilla, specifically the Beautiful Villa in Calpe for July 2021. Unfortunately, our Easy jet flight got cancelled, so we couldn't go. We tried reaching out to the owner for a refund or a chance to reschedule for a later date, even up to 2022, but we didn't get any response. It was a bummer, but we understood that things happen and we were willing to work with them.

However, things took a turn for the worse when we found out that Beautiful Villa had validated our visa credit card without our permission and withdrew the balance outstanding on the holiday up to the value of ?4,000. We were shocked and angry that they would do something like that without our consent. It was a clear violation of our trust and privacy.

We tried to get in touch with Belvilla to report the incident and get our money back, but we couldn't find any contact details or phone numbers for them. It was frustrating and made us feel like we were dealing with con artists.

I had a really bad experience with Belvilla. I booked two stays with them back in April 2020, but unfortunately, due to COVID, I had to cancel both bookings. I paid in full for both stays, which amounted to 600 Euros. It's now June 2021, and I still haven't received my refund. I've tried calling them, but I can't seem to get through to a real person. All the email responses I've received have been automated, which is really frustrating.

Belvilla insists that the only way they can refund me is by sending an IBAN. However, where I live, we don't use IBANs. I've asked them to send me a check, use PayPal, or refund my credit card, but they've refused. I don't trust them anymore, and their service has been really bad.

They've given me a link to add my IBAN details to my Belvilla account, but I'm not sure if I want to do that. I don't want to give them any more of my personal information.

Everything seemed fine until two weeks after booking, when I started receiving constant emails threatening to cancel my booking due to non-payment. I replied to these emails, confirming payment, and they assured me that my booking was secured every week. However, this went on for five weeks non-stop, which was exhausting.

Six weeks prior to my holiday, I started receiving cancellation emails. I replied to these emails, asking for the reason, and every week I was assured that my booking was solid and to disregard the emails. But the emails continued weekly, which was very unsettling. This harassment really put a dampener on my holiday plans. I would have cancelled just for stress relief, but there was absolutely no accommodation left due to an event in the area. This was extremely unprofessional and unsettling when holiday plans have been made.

Four weeks ago, I asked a manager to call me for clarification of what was going on. However, this never happened. Five days before my departure, they rang to tell me to cancel my booking as the accommodation was double booked. I told them that this was booked three months ago and there was no alternative accommodation. If I was told three months ago, I may have had a chance at alternative accommodation, but not this close to the event. I advised them that I had pre-booked activities, so I could not cancel. They said I must cancel or I will not get a refund, and the house is not available to me. They told me to cancel my holiday and any plans and to make alternative arrangements.

I asked for reimbursement of my non-refundable activities and for a manager to call me. However, they hung up the phone and I never heard from them again. This was a complete disaster to book with. Honestly, pay anything else to NOT BOOK with this company. They are absolute scam artists, and your holiday will be ruined with the bombardment of conflicting emails they send you weekly.
