Rude service, when we confronted the party that was rude the owner called threatening us. The level of unprofessionality was shocking. Others besides me have similar sentiments. My birthday present was to visit Bela for the first time, they were rude when I initially made the appointment, the day of my appointment they wanted to move it 3 hrs later with a 1 hour notice. No apologies and more rudeness when I had a baby in mind while scheduling. My husband confronted the receptionist about his concern for the bad business...the owner called irate and threatening us. She said I had lied and they don't bump people...my husband asked why then did we know about the wedding that came in earlier...the owner said..."we moved you later b/c of a complicated haircut." Wait a minute? Weren't we just liers b/c you don't bump people? My husband only previously to get their "schtuff" together, the owner said

I've been going to Bela Salon for nearly 5 years. My experience has always been tremendous! The staff is courteous, the salon is clean and my stylist is fantastic! I would highly recommend this salon.

My daughter went into Bella wanting her hair "a little blonder". That evening she comes home in tears looking like Elvira's less severe niece! Her hair was no a high contrast mix of dark with very light almost platinum streaks! I asked if the person that did the work knew what they were doing, and was told that this person was a supposed to be a more "advanced colorist" than many others in the area!

I don't know anything about hair coloring but I do know about arrogant artists and bad customer service. Had my daughter hair debacle been simply the error of a untrained colorist that would be one thing, but the fact that it was done by a professional that knows what she is doing makes me furious. This mean the colorist decided that regardless of what my daughter wanted, SHE knew better and was going to do what SHE wanted and NOT what my daughter asked for.

To make things worse, my daughter was put off twice being told "your hair will lighten after washing, wait a few days and call back". She called a third time demanding to talk to a manger or owner and after being told that they were too busy to come to the phone, she was promised that someone would call her back to which my daughter said, "please make sure they do, I am very upset." NO ONE CALLED. My daughter called back after the store had closed. She was told everyone was gone and not being able to control her anger she went off. At this point she has made at least 4 calls to this salon simply wanting to talk to the manger, to no result.

I have no idea how professional competent these people are, and I don't care. Their problem has little to do with their skills with hair, but rather their character flaws. They are arrogant, rude and don't know the meaning of customer service!

I completely agree! The owner also called me a liar regarding pricing that her receptionist in addition to a stylist had quoted me for hair extensions. It was an awful experience, needless to say after paying $750.00 for hair extensions from a senior stylist several fell out within 2 weeks! Which I then had to go pay someone else to fix because I refuse to go back... An extremely unprofessional business being ran over there and highly priced stylist for poor service. Don't waste your money!
