My husband and I moved our family to Georgia/Deaton Farm in July . We were one of the first families to move in. therefore we have watched as the community has grown. The community that is finalized in construction is is complete disarray! Homeowners are not cutting their lawns, there are weeds all over, the streets are filthy. In a nut shell, it looks like we live in the ghetto in the south side of Chicago. We are paying $880 a year to the HOA, and thus far, we don't see our dollars working for us. The HOA is in place to keep the conditions of a community in check. The dues are to pay the HOA to do a job. Right now, said job that we are paying for is not performing. My husband and I are already discussing not paying our $880 for next year. Why should we? What will we be paying for. Someone there needs to get up off of their [censored], and get out to Deaton Farm and enforce the rules!

The company has failed to do anything they are suppose to be doing. All of us neighbors constantly contact them and nothing comes from it. 1). The trash is over the gates piled high for over 2 months. With covid going on that is a huge deal. The neighbors are getting sick from it, there's racoons now. Also the trash is starting to drift in the wind all over the community. I come home and its all over my porch. With covid this is not okay. Our lives are at risk. 2)The gate for the community has been broken for over 5 years and thats the reason WHY I MOVED IN HERE. 3) They keep asking people for more money which makes no sense. I've talked to all of the neighbors and they pay what they are suppose to pay so they have PLENTY OF mooney to take care of these simple tasks. 4) The grass has been overgrown for months now, it looks awful and of all things that is the cheapest and easiest thing to do. 5) The dog stations are FLOODED with dog poop and *** bags and have not been emptied IN MONTHS. IT Smells awful in this community and its hurting our eyes and making people feel weird. The doggy bags arent filled on top of that. The poop bags are sitting all over the lawns. It looks like no one has ever done anything in this community and its a beatufil community. 6) BEcause of the gate being open there are now WAY too many cars parked around . Sometimes I cant get into my parking spots because of this. There shouldnt be that many people in here. People are throwing parties often because of the easy access and I paid for my security. 7) The weeds are currently 4 feet high and covering the walkways which is unsafe for the kids and eldery. 8) Last time they cut the grass they rushed through half the community and the lines were half cut half not cut. It makes absolutely no sense. We all contact them and nothing happens, nothing gets done. Even if 10 neighbors paid their dues this would cover all of the simple costs. But there are 66 units in this place! Someone is walking around with thousands of dollars in their pocked. Im sure they have gotten help from the state or government and pocketed that too. We feel like we have all been sabotaged by this company. WE are done. Completely done. We no longer feel safe for our health or our security. The entire community has come together and we are LIVID we want our money back for the missed months and or swap out companies to a company our neighbor knows that would ideally replace them.
