I was seen by Aspen because I have 2 teeth on the bottom and a bar that goes from the 2 teeth. One of the teeth is broken off completely. When I was seen at Aspen they did exrays and told me that both of the teeth needed to be pulled. I would need a plate on the bottom and a new plate on the top. Because I did not have dental insurance they said they would try and get financing and it would cost over $4500 with interest. I am low income and $73.00 a month is more than I can afford. I applied for low income discounts thew a place and am waiting to hear from them if I am accepted. I know someone who got top and bottom teeth from Aspen for $700. What is with these charges.

I have had 13 teeth pulled between top and bottoms. They have yet to get my temporary to the point I can actually eat with them in. I am only a month into this so far, and decided to look up lawsuits and complaints for the simple fact they left 3 teeth in my bottom mouth. I asked them after the deep cleaning which is going to cost me 1647.00 on top of the 4000.00 if the two front bottom teeth were going to survive. If they do not I will need full dentures and not a partial. Well the two front bottom teeth are extremely loose, so I am hoping to not have to take them to court, because after paying all this money for a temporary partial, I cannot afford to pay for the full dentures

Had my teeth pulled on top. Aspen dental made me a temporary denture and it didn't fit right put a soft liner 3 times to build the one side up. I was told I would have to wait 6 months for my permanent dentures and I did . Went back every other day for a week. They were sent out to be made they came back worst then the first set. they offered to made them again, but the experience with the two sets had me so worked up I didn't want to go through that again. I asked for my money back the price was $1599 I was told the temporary in my mouth would have to come back too. I told them deduct for them. There telling me that the temporaries are $460 and the permanent ones are only $280, I was to get the top of the line dentures as my permanent ones. How can the temporary ones be more than the permanent ones. There not giving my insurance company all there money there deducting for the temporaries. There giving me a refund of only $280 and that will be sent to the dental loan company which I have paid off in full .The loan was for $744.65, and then the loan company will pay me. I fill that that there Ripping me off. It just doesn't make sense.

You didn't help me find my smile! In fact, I avoid smiling because of the teeth and the way they fit. Unless I really coat them with adhesive they don't stay in. I went back numerous times with the same complaint and was told they were fine. WELL, THEY AREN'T FINE! I spent a lot of money there and feel it was totally wasted and if it wouldn't cost me so much I'd go to another dentist and have them redone. A friend had a similar situation, went to a real dentist, and his teeth look marvelous.

Your facility never felt clean to me - labs coats on employees for the most part were stained and unclean.

I would not recommend your facility to anyone - in fact, I tell people about the terrible experience I had with Aspen Dental.

I went to Aspen Dental in April 2009. They take you in an office and show you all the dentures they have and prices.
I got the best they make, costing me 2027.00.
They would not stay in my lower gums so they tried to talk me into implants. They drill holes in the bone and put post in to snap into the dentures Costing (approximately) 2500.00.
I have heart disease and cannot take a chance on getting an infection, which if you look this up you will see this can happen.
The tops were such small teeth that my upper lip went in.
I was not able to eat, my pressure flew up due to the abuse I was subjected to.
I called corporate and they told me I had to return the dentures before I received a refund and I had to wait 2 to 3 weeks for my money.
I am still waiting.
This company is nothing but scam. Look up all the complaints before you make an appointment.

Well I really don't know where to begin. I went into Aspen about 2yrs ago for a quote on getting dentures. Yes I am young but I h ave bad teeth and wanted to be able to smile. Because money was so tight they told me they can do the teeth that needed to come out. 3200.oo later and I don't even wear the perminment one I am wearing the ones that they give you the day they pull your teeth. They are to small for my mouth and and everytime i went in before they sent out my dentures I had a different dentist and mond after mond after mond and they now say it's to late there isn't anything they can do to fix the flexable denture so now I have a partial top and bottom sitting in a container and I am wearing only the orginal top ones in and now the teeth that are holding these in are roiting away and I am in a lot of pain. I would like someone to contact me and let me know what I can do. Because i am not goiong to pay for something I don't or I should I can't wear. Thank you

I purchased dentures from these people and got a giant rip-off. I requested they pull all my teeth they left 5 lower ones. I knew they were bad and I wanted them out. They convinced me that leaving them in would help secure the bottom plate. I cannot wear the bottom plate at all. They then told me that the teeth they had left in needed work. over I paid them over $8000.00 for 2 sets of dentures, they sent me a bill for $800.00 to fix those stupid teeth. I never received the 2nd pair ofdentures I want some of my money back. I'm afraid to go back there, they will probably charge me $1, 000.00 for sitting in the lobby.

dentures were too big-so they suctioned them to stay up-- but are now slanted and off centered -so the front teeth are over to the left instead of being centered in the middle-- and the teeth are not straight but slanted - they refuse to do anything about it

I went to aspen dental to get a full upper denture. at the time they had a special of paying 100 dollars after insurance. they had higher priced dentures that they tried to get me to buy but being on limited income was only able to afford the 100 dollars ones. when i got the dentures they looked like crap. i looked like i had horse teeth. when i said something about them i was told that it was just me. i told them they didn't fit right, i was told that it was my fault, that i didnt hold my jaw right. now the teeth keep falling out. i took them twice to have them fixed and each time they charged me and my insurance. I now have another tooth that keeps falling out. on top of that due to the ill fitting i have pain constantly on my upper gum line where the denture hits. some thing needs to be done about this company.

I had dentures that fit great. They were almost 30 years old and I loved them! They still fit great and looked so natural no one believed they were dentures. Unfortunately getting thinner over time I suppose, they broke in half. I went to Aspen Dental per ads on TV. Free xrays and inexpensive...Ha Ha. I wish I had read all the reviews before I went. The people were very friendly. I was given 3, I believe, choices of quality of dentures. I have dental insurance and of course I wanted the best (thinking these would probably be the last one I would ever have to have) and the BEST ones gave you an extra denture (two for the price of one...first red flag...dummy). I made several trips back but work was done quickly. Of course they found a couple of cavities and had to clean my teeth. Finally I went in for fitting. They were a BIG mouthfull! I thought it was because my old ones were so old. The first fitting they checked the contact of my lower teeth and partial. Ground on them here an there and when I thought they were good they sent me on with a date come get them. I returned for that apointment. AND THIS IS WHERE THEY GET YA! they put them in my mouth and gave me a mirror and asked me if I was happy with them. (without ever wearing them or using them?) Of course I was happy with them! I have had none and they are pretty and white! So they brought in a form for me to sign that my dentures were satisfactory and I was happy with them... After living with them for a few days I made an appointment to have sharp places fixed. I complained they were too big and they would not grind the sharp edge on the back of them because I needed that for suction to hold them in. BS! (I later fixed that with my nailfile at home) So now that they are all FINISHED with me. I have dentures that are too big which changed my speech, and dont meet my lower teeth correctly. The gums of them are huge and the teeth are very short so my upper lip is now starting to pucker for lack of fullness of the teeth. I have a constant taste of some kind of chemical. The color does not match my other teeth and I often bite the inside of my cheeks while chewing. The only thing I am satisfied with is that I can eat again. So $2234.00 later...IM JUST SCREWED? LESSON LEARNED? How do companies get away with this?

For Christmas this year my husband bought me new dentures to replace the ill fitting ones that I had. After a consultation with the dentist it was determined that I needed both upper and lower instead of the lower we were looking to buy. I was promised the dentist before Thanksgiving. They met the deadline for the dentures one day before Thanksgiving and was told that the dentures would take some getting used to. I have never been able to wear the dentures for an entire day nor can I eat solid food. After going back time after time I am left with the lower dentures digging into the bottom of my mouth. The upper dentures hit the tooth on the bottom making it extremely painful. I cannot chew on the left side of my mouth. My upper dentures if not glued in with Fixodent fall completely out of my mouth. The staff, while friendly in the beginning has become hostile and it is very easy to tell that thet resent your returning for adjustments. I am supposed to have a guarantee but it appears to be non-existant, I am very unhappy. I have not been able to eat a mean with the exeption of soft foods since I bought the dentures. I need help and fast.

It has been over a year and a half and I still can't wear my dentures. they don't fit right and never have. I went in for them to replace my first set and they did the impressions over my first set of dentures. They are too big for my mouth. A new technician came in an told me that I was going to be a difficult case, but the dentist told him to leave the room and brought in the technician that has worked on all of my fittings. I am very upset that I can't eat alot of foods. Eating only soft foods is getting very old, especially with it being as long as it has been! It is very frustrating! I would really love to be able to eat again like a normal person! Please let me know if you can help me!

I went to Aspen Dental on March 11, 2013.
All I wanted done was fix a broken tooth on my upper partial. The dentist told me that my bone around the remaining teeth was receding and that I would lose the teeth pretty soon. I decided to have them removed after she repeatedly told me that a partial would not last.
She removed the teeth on March 11 and it took her 1.5 hrs to get one tooth out. She had to cut it into three pieces to get it out.
I didn't like the temp plate at all. I called and told them they didn't fit right and they hurt.
They told me that was normal and I would have to put up with it for 6 months. They did put a soft lining in them for me.
I could hardly eat anything.
I then decided to have mini implants put in.
They put them in august 19, 2013. Now its Sept. 30 and 2 have already came out. I called and they said that is normal and I have to wait until that area heals and they will put them back.
They originally told me it would cost $2421. They said my insurance would pay 759.30. I put the rest on a care credit account, which I paid off.
I received a statement from my insurance company that they paid it all off except 532.00.
When I told them I wanted to go with the implants they told me that my insurance company paid more so I would only owe them 1078.00. Which I paid.
Now I need to have the implants put back in but I'm afraid to go back there.

I too have had. and am still having major problems with the Dentures they sold to me. When I first went to Aspen Dental I didn't think that I needed Dentures. I was a 29 - 30 year old female that had been in a major car accident years earlier resulting in my whole face and head crashing through the windshield when the other car hit me. When this happened I had a Jolly Rancher in my mouth and it was about 5:30 pm, the end of December, very dark and pouring rain. The women that hit me didn't have her headlights on and was pulling out from a side street onto the main street that I was driving on. I didn't see her at all until it was too late, my foot didn't even make it to the brake. I was on my way to the pharmacy to purchase a home pregnancy test. So, they tested me in the emergency room before giving me any medications or other tests and the good news out of the evening was that by the grace of god, yes I was pregnant and very happy about the news. The only problem is nobody would help me with my teeth or all the glass they were trying to pull as many little pieces out as possible and I ended up with close to 300 stitches in my forehead alone, I tried to stay as strong as possible because of the pregnancy (my son I was now lucky to still be carrying), I also ended up with many other medical problems I received that evening. I digress, let me get back to Aspen Dental of Rhode Island. Now at this time I am a single mother to a beautiful son. I was working but I didn't get any help from his father at all. I didn't have money to spend on me. I knew that I would need some extractions, crowns, caps, bonding and a partial but they tell me I would go though much less pain if I had them all extracted on top and purchased their best Dentures, at the time cost $1, 299. They knew I didn't have the money for that type of dental work. All together after my dental coverage I would still owe all together close to $4, 500 because they said that you can't do only the top Dentures, that i needed to also do the bottom Dentures. They told me that they wouldn't do any other type of work on my mouth because it would look terrible unless I did upper and lower Dentures. They told me that I would look unattractive unless I get only complete Dentures. I have always been terrified of Dentists but these people that gave me the consultation made me so uncomfortable. I didn't have the money but it was tax time so I used my tax refund that I needed badly fir other things at the time to get just the top done and boy did that was a horrifying experience! Unbelievable what they had to do to pull out my teeth and then crack off all the bone and sew it all up. Then they put in the temporary teeth which did look nice, very nice, I had complements and Aspen Dental had received at least 6 more patients through me because of how nice they looked, but they were so expensive and made out of this extra strong stuff that the other levels of Dentures were not made. So, they look great and I have wait for my gums to recede to get the permanent Dentures. After a short time, they broke. I went back and they fixed them the best they could is what I was told. When I got my permanent Dentures they looked liked I had very short teeth, I didn't have the same smile, They said that it was the same mold they used, they said they were fine. Then a month later I noticed my teeth on one side of my mouth were shorter than the other side. They looked filed down. Even my little boy kept asking me what is wrong with my teeth. He is my world, this is the angel that survived with me through the accident that broke my teeth. I had to wait a long time and now I was being taken advantage of by Aspen Dental. Aspen Dental then told me that they no longer accept my dental coverage. I still had even more problems with them but this too long already. I understand your problem with your Dentures. If I knew then what I know now!
People Beware!Check around, get references from patient if you can, they have to be willing but most dentist have patients that are willing to give recommendations for them if they're good at what they do. Make sure its not someone that was just worked on. Try to talk to patients after they have had their Dentures for quite some time. Wherever you go, Good Luck.

These people are ripp off artist my mother went in to have all of her teeth pulled, they were never able to numb her completely and shrugged it off when she said something, Then they told her that the ones she walked out with were only the temporary ones she gets the real ones in six months I heard them tell her that...then they changed their story and said no these are the only ones the classic you are getting. The guy that my mother original was dealing with is no longer in the office but he never showed my mother the whole wall of teeth..and the teeth she got she told me is not what she originally picked out! My mother is a sharp lady so I believe her. When my mother questioned the doc about the teeth she never saw only the gums..they only then brought out two or three not the whole sample out to her why not? what are they hideing? MThey dont look righT! my mother went through a lot of pain never prepared her properly first of all I feel, her top teeth are too short and the teeth are not that white at all! Im so pissed off about this right now, my mother is a senior on a limited income and didnt have money for this in the first time, but her teeth were infected and she needed it done...she took antibiotic but they never took a x ray to see if the infection was gone for sure or not I dont understand this because whenever My dentist was not sure if my infection was gone or not he would give me an xray first..! somebody needs to stop these people this happened at an Aspen Dental in Ohio. Lesson...do your research first my mom was in so much pain she just wanted them out and trusted these people too much Im so upset for her right now!

Oh yeah, then patient satisfaction can email the office where you went and tell them to fix it. You still have to go back to that horrible office. Stay away from Aspen. So many complaints all over the internet and inside info tells me that there are many unhappy employees there that don't agree with company practices. Money. Money, Money and please pay in advance and in full.

How's the warranty on that denture? Sounds like the basic 3 month warranty. Also sounds like you're stuck. Sorry for the patient, not surprised, just sorry it happened.

I went to Aspen Dental needing a re-cement of my post back into place. The Dentist refused to do the re-cement; and I was handed my tooth back to me in my hand and allowed to leave without the Dentist even putting a temporary into place for the time being? Instead, I was told that a re-post was out of the question and told that I would need to get a dental implant.

What ever did we do before those expensive dental implants? They gave me absolutely "No Reason to Smile", and I have since found another Dentist who provides me with all alternatives, dental plans and treatment options so that I can choose what I feel is the best course of action for me and for my wallet.

This company is by far the worst company ever had the pleasure interpose my present upon them. First they charged my $750.00 for a temporary partial believe was over charged because had problem giving me and official receipt of work done, correct fees weren’t stated correctly on the receipt had to request copy of the correct receipt at least three times still wasn’t written correct finally I gave in and sent it to the victim compensation program knowing the amounts did not match with the amount paid. Secondly received a bill from and outside collection claming I owed them an access of thirty dollars had to make several phone calls to them clear up this mess finally I had them call the outside company verifying the amount was paid in full. Now I am having problem with the victim compensation program compensating the $750.00 I paid for work done at aspen dental. They send the a form to fill out February 14, 2010 had yet return the form which is making it very difficult getting the money. Finally I would never refer anybody to this company the receptionist be came very rued with me because had call them numerous times regarding the receipt she even hung up the phone a couple of times. called the main office which hasn’t return my phone call regarding the form needed to be sent to victim compensation program.

too many items to mention.
One big thing is the free interest program they have with GE and Chase bank. Who pays the interest? No bank ever gives money free. someone pays for it.\

It is unbelievable the amount of complaints this company has. I was one of there "office managers" or should I say high pressure salesperson. Everything, every complainant says I agree with. This business is not about providing quality dentistry. It is about making money off the under served dental community. It is disgraceful. Please spread the word before more people lose there hard earned money and there TEETH!

I WENT TO THE ASPEN IN GLASTONBURY CT AND CANNOT BELIEVE THE WAY THAT OFFICE IS RUN. FROM THE DOCTOR TO THE MAN WHO MANAGED AT THE FRONT DESK-EVERYONE WAS VERY SHEISTY. I JUST WANTED TO HAVE AN IDEA WHAT I NEEDED TO DO TO FIX MY TEETH, BUT THEY SEEMED MORE INTERESTED IN MAKING MONEY. THE MANAGER, CURT KEPT TALKING AND TALKING AND JUST WANTED ME TO BUY THE CREDIT CARD. WHAT HAPPENED TO DOCTORS WHO WANT TO HELP PATIENTS?
