Amoco Gas Station review: Overcharge on debit card

This incident happened on 12/17/22 at approximately 4:13p.m. Pump 8 was the pump number. The gas pump that I was using to pump gas into my car did not cut off when my car's gas tank was full. The gas continued to flow into my tank until the tank began to overflow. There was about two inches of gas that accumulated on the ground before I was able to get the gas cut off. All of the gas that was flowing onto the ground was being charged to my card which was out of my control. I had to force the lever on the handle of the gas tank handle up for the gas to stop flowing. After I finally got the tank cut off, I waded through the gas which was about two inches deep on the ground to get to the station to let the attendant know what had happened. I asked him to come out but he refused to come out to the tank. He said there was nothing he could do. He gave me a duplicate receipt to show the manager which was proof that I reported the incident. He also told me to come back on Monday morning to see his manager about refunding my money for the gas that had spilled on the ground, and charged to my card. After seeing the manager on Monday, December 19th, 2022, he did not want to hear anything I had to say and refused to refund my money. I had 1/2 tank of gas already before I began to pump gas, therefore, my tank would not hold the total amount of gas that was being pumped into my tank so it began to flow onto the ground.
