Crooks! I should have paid the money to the IRS. American Tax took fees of about $3000 from me in September for a $12,000 back tax from 2015. I asked if I should pay my 2020 tax, they said that it would open a can of worms. Best thing to do was add my 2020 tax to the 2015 settlement for another $1000. They stopped taking my calls and would not even return emails. I had a simple question. When I finally got through to ask where I was in regards to a resolution they said that because of COVID the IRS is far behind in resolution. They went around and around with excuses and could not give me any updates. They went to say as long as the IRS is slow they will not resolve a case until they review the next years tax return. What a scam...

I Also paid up front with the understanding that my taxes ( because i pulled from my annuity for housing)will be Negotiated & the initial person I spoke with stated that since I had been Compliant with the IRS up until now, I would probably owe a certain amount & no more than such & such,,,,FastForward, I was told that ATS would HAVE to do 2020 also & that would be $5000 more... That is when I told them I need to cancel & Need a refund. I was told that because they have worked on the case they can only give me less than 1/4 back of what I paid Back. Mind you,they STILL have not reduce payment to IRS,..I told them I would take care of 2020 , just fix what I paid for..He kept giving me these, legal around the way, not making ANY sense answers,,NEVER AGAIN!

This is a terrible company. I was told the process would take 2 months, it has now been 6 and I cannot get a returned phone call. My case manager's phone number no longer works nor does the first contact I had with them. They tell you a bunch of information on what they *** do and what to expect and none of those items have been met. I also have a manager contact for which i have left 2 messages with and still no returned call. The last contact I had with them was in November and nothing had been done at that point, so I pushed a bit harder and was asked to provide more information, most of which I had already provided. I *** now be trying to get my money back. I do believe this is a scam. People are having a hard enough time and for them to just take your money and disappear is a bunch of ***.

Awesome customer service and respect towards veterans. California CDTFA was trying to tax me to death on an aircraft I purchased in Arizona years ago. I've asked for help from other tax offices, they just took my money and when CDTFA said no they folded, Not American tax solutions! American Tax Solutions when called went straight to work, they worked with me and found the resolution in which I was seeking. Several months later I'm in formed that CDTFA tax has been completely abated. I was shocked and impressed to find out that they have actual licensed attorneys when most other companies don't. They have it all, tax professionals that are highly experienced and CPAs. As a US Army Veteran I highly recommend American tax solutions as the only one stop solution for tax dilemma. They saved me and they can save you. I plane to use them and only them for all my tax needs.

I didn't kno I owed money to the IRS until last year. And this company reached out to me by mail. I was in need and I needed help with my tax problems. So I called and the man was very nice. Saying we was going to help me and I was very thankful at the time! The amount I had to pay was 2500 I didn't have it all so I asked if I could may 200 every mouth until it's paid in full. He said yes got my card information and was taking it money from my card every mouth! He also told me I would be protected from the IRS and stop paying my installments I had made with the IRS..after they received my payments on time every mouth no communication no nothing. So when I was finished paying the 2500 months went by and they told me I had to pay another 2500. I was oh no this can't be real. So recently they sent me a txt saying to pay 332 to some lady. What professional sends texts. Ppl real deal have tax's problems and they are just taking people's money! Shame on y'all! I want my money back

I inquired about ATS (American Tax Solution) from advertisements in mid-2020 to help me settle my tax situation. And they were more than willing to help. After the discussion of the business of reducing my debt and having to pay them upfront of $2500. I was hesitant but agreed to the terms. It's been almost a year now and no resolution. I understand the pandemic situation, but telework is what it is suppose to be. The IRS keeps sending me increased amount that I'm suppose to pay due to interests. And, it gets worse...I just recently filed my 2020 return and was suppose to get a about $6K in return. When I went to the IRS.gov sight, it stated the refund has been kept from prior debts. I was under the impression from ATS, from the initial agreement that IRS will not obtain any of my refunds since I was being represented by a lawyer from ATS. In that the IRS understands that I'm being represented. Lastly, my case manager, keeps ignoring my phone calls and emails. What a disappointment this organization is.

I lost my job and was told by ATS that I qualified for non-collectable status CNC but I hired them to get me a payoff amount that my family was going to pay for me. They are confused and didn't understand what I wanted until 6 months later that I wanted a payoff. They then informed me that I didn't qualify for a payoff amount, just the non-collectable status. They does not make sense to me. I will have to call the IRS and deal with my issue myself because I don't have another 3,500 to pay someone else to do it for me. I have worked with another company in the past to get me on an installment agreement with the IRS and they were professional, responsive, and did what they told me they would do. This company hides behind one person, Janelle, and she is not allowed to let me talk to the lawyer or anyone else in the company. Janelle, also does not follow up since with her customers and you have to badger her to get a response. This is a horrible company and I believe I just lost money using them. Find someone else who is reputable to help you.

Over a year ago I spoke with a consultant at American Tax Solutions and the conversation was encouraging that they can negotiate with the Internal Revenue Services on my behalf to get a reduction on taxes I owed. An agreement for their services will be $8,000 and I took out a loan to pay (which I am still paying on to date). Efforts were made at the beginning but I no longer heard of any progress. In June I received a letter from the IRS stating the Intent or Levy if taxes due is not received by June 25. I contact American Tax Solutions to get answers and their response was that the letter was not serious. I forward a copy to them and they assured me that they will act on it right away. I contacted American Tax Solution the week leading up to June 25 and got no response and avoidance from them. I contact the Internal Revenue Services and the agent I spoke with told me no one has contact them on my behalf. It is an awful thing when companies like American Tax Solutions take advantage of customers vulnerability for their own benefit. Since I am representing myself I would like to be refunded for services not perform.

They were in contact with me until it was about to be my last payment then no calls to me. They don't answer my calls or return my voicemails. They answer when you file a complaint then say a person *** call you back. When they do they are rude and tell you something totally different from what the actual person who took the case tells you. They said they got what I owed down by a lot another person told me that's not true. American tax solution told me I have to pay them even more than what we agreed on. Said he would speak with his supervisor and let me know I never heard back from them. I called to cancel service and this guy tells me the guy in charge of cancellation is not answering yet mind you the rude guy from two weeks ago that called me was so angry he threatened to cancel my account right then and there on the phone before. So I'm confused how could that guy cancel but this one tells me the guy on charge of cancellation is not answering. They want to sting you along and take as much money as they can. With the amount they are telling me I need to pay them I would already be more than halfway done paying the irs directly. Don't fall for what they say they are doing for you I called the irs there is no record of anyone working on anything for me. Now I am getting the run around just to cancel services from this company

Spoke with girl/boy *** who i stated on Feb 18 after i received a call about proceeding with their services that i took care of it directly with the IRS. I then received 2 more harassing phone calls today 4/15 at 1:35 and 1:36pm PST. I sent this company a text message at 1:36PM PST stating, Please remove me from your call list. I advised you that i resolved it directly with the IRS. *** responded at 1:40pm PST "You mean you screwed it up again. Good Luck.

I then called *** directly and no answer. I then called the main company and spoke with A who tried to connect me with Gavin's manager which was unavailable so they passed *** to Bill Ware. I advised *** of the interaction and he advised me that i was not a client in their data base but i told him i was a potential client but decided not to go with them. He said he would remove me from the list. Prior to this, he seemed like he didn't care that i had that interaction with Gavin and did not apologize. I told him i received this harassing text and two harassing phone calls.

At 1:50pm PST i received a text message from *** stating "I don't owe $40,000 to the IRS. Good Luck.
At 1:51pm PST i responded with, Spoke with Bill Ware to remove me from the call list. Any further messages will be harassment.
At 1:52pm PST I received a text message from Gavin stating "Pay your taxes. Goodbye. Do not contact us again."

Shady uneducated business practices going on here.

I was contacted by mail from American Tax Solutions about a pending Tax Lein, Due to a tax liability that had not been paid. So I called the number and I spoke with a representative from the company. This person said that we qualified for 5148.00 as a settlement to close out State taxes owed. 41,605.00 for federal settlement. However it would it take 6 to 9 months to "Sort Out". At the end of the
6 months an acceptance letter for our offer *** be sent to us. Letter never came. The fee for the services initially would be 4,500.00. Which we made an initial payment of 1000.00 initial payment. on 12/10. Then on 1/13 we where told we had to pay additional fees of 7,000.00 due to penalties and late tax fees. After I informed them that I couldn't come up with the money they informed me of two companies that could help in this matter. United Consumer Financial Services Loans funded me 7000.00 to pay American Tax Solutions on 1/13. After paying all this money. I finally spoke to someone without reaching a resolution. I was told that they where still waiting for a lawyer to call on Monday but I kept getting the runaround i left several voicemails and no returned calls until I stopped payments to them in 07. They told me that they would not do any more work on my account until I resumed payments. Nothing was done once they got payment. I feel like i was scammed and they refused to refund my money and informed me that they do have anything to do with third party payment institutions.

I want to start by saying when Chad Goodman took the 3500 from me for tax settlement agreement he told it could take up to 9 months got right on the phone with IRS -simple very easy process! Well that couldn't be more further from the truth . You are supposed to have a case manger assigned to your case - I couldn't even tell you the amount case mangers. I had 7-10 they never called! You would have to call them & they would not return calls for months they said they were working on it with IRS come to find out after 15 months they never ever spoke to IRS regarding my case - I was determined for them to hold there agreement with me called once a week & finally was put trough to manger named *** who promised he would always answer my call ! He answered twice and then same stuff from American Tax Solutions no answer no response! Again finally after calling diligently once twice a week was able to get Chad Goodman on the phone & he told me the manger *** had died which was a complete lie - what really sort of sums up the whole experience with American Tax Solutions. So the way they ended it with me some guy from the settlement department called basically told me it could be another 2yrs we had words he hung the phone up and now they won't even take my call ! One big scam! Do not, I mean Do Not give them your money because it is a lie Chad Goodman & *** scams! I would not be surprised if that really wasn't their names.I want end on this note they should be in jail straight criminals and *** and Chad Goodman I'm going all the way on this I want my money back ! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!

Total scam lies and more lies. The only reason we hired them is because we were assured if they could not hep us, they would refund our money, this was promised by Vince Mitchell. We agreed to $2700 and have paid $2000.00. Now I am being asked to sign a contract stating I requested a Termination agreement. I did not request this, they said I need to sign this to stop the last payment of coming out of my account.

I explained the work that was done on your case, I have a recording of the phone call. Where you agreed that you would close your file
and not pay us for all the additional work that was done on your case. We saved you $10,000 by not filing 2013, which we should have done, which was presented to us, but I noticed this and stopped it.
As far as your garnishment, we did the work to get your garnishment lowered, the state refused because you were making almost $100,000 a year and refusing to pay taxes.
You requested that we cancel your case with your Case Manager on Oct. 20th, requesting a refund from the $2,000 that you paid us for $6,000 worth of work.
Our agreement was that we wouldn't seek any other payments from you, if your case was cancelled.
If you want us to continue, there would be additional funds required.-

So even though we have a contract he tried putting the blame on us, we never disputed that we owed taxes, we were told they could decrease the amount owed. That is the reason we hired a lawyer. I did everything I was asked, sent everything to them they requested. VERY unprofessional company and I have all of our correspondences showing so.

I hired this company on August 27th to take care of my tax issues from 2019. I originally spoke to Scott, who was very nice and easy to work with. I had high hopes for the resolution of my problems, but...

The experience has been terrible ever since and to be frank this company is either the most unorganized company I've ever interacted with, or they just simply don't care once they get their money.

I have had to chase them down every step of the way with little to no follow up on their end. Furthermore, and as others have stated in the complaints on this website, I have had to explain my situation repeatedly to them and several of their associates have called me asking for information that I have already provided to them on numerous occasions. Each time I spoke with a new associate I would ask about elements of my case to which they would not know the answer to. It was obvious to me that these people were not communicating with one another.

I sent a detailed email to Scott on 12/17 expressing my concerns and dissatisfaction with how my case was being handled but of course he did not reply.

In February, and after almost 6 months I finally received a folder in the mail in which contained my completed tax forms for the 2019 tax season, however there is still work to be done on my case. The letter they sent said my case manager would be reaching out to me with next steps but as of 3/11 i have not heard a word. I have sent emails, left messages with reception and VMs for my case manager Merilyn Gera but nobody has gotten back to me. The final straw happened today when I called the general line to ask for Merilyn. The woman on the phone told me I must have the wrong number. I clarified that I was calling ATS in which the woman said yes, asked if I was a client then transferred me to Merilyn's VM, but didn't ask for her name again, so she clearly heard her name the first time. Why would she tell me I had the wrong number? Was this an attempt at ignoring me?

I can see this company is reading and responding to reviews on here. Someone please contact me ASAP so we can get this resolved and both move on.

I started with this company nearly a year ago with the promise of paying much less in back taxes owed. I took out two loans to pay nearly 8,000 dollars for this promise. I was desperate. I was in a vulnerable state and was sold goods that never existed. Fast forward nearly a year, and I was recently told there was no resolution on my case, but, good news, they worked out an Installment agreement that is about the same as my previous installment agreement. And in the meantime, after being told to not make payments to the IRS over this past year(this was part of the sales pitch that would somehow magically lessen my payments, again, I was vulnerable), I have accrued 25,000 dollars in penalties. I'm now in a worse place with the IRS than I was prior to working with this company.
I asked to make a complaint and speak with a supervisor. When *** contacted me, he did not have information on my case and stated he needed to talk with *** my case manager, and would be calling me back the next day. He did call me back and left a message that he had "good news" for me. After playing phone tag, he let me know he would contact me at 5pm. He never called. Next day, he said he would call me at 5pm. He never did. I didn't get a response from him until nearly a week later. The best part, when he finally called, he told me everything "looks great and we are moving forward." I told him this made no sense as I was told there was no resolution. He again said he needed to talk with *** and would call me "right back." *** has yet to call me back. It's been four days. So I called the main line today to speak with another supervisor. I get in touch with Bill, who tells me how busy *** is as he is in charge of four departments with 60 people each. I tell Bill that I don't care, because this is not my problem. I also tell Bill that I have two voice messages and a text message from *** that gives me times he will call me back with zero returned call. ***, who basically told me to calm down, explained new information on my case that I was never give by anyone else. Bill was somewhat helpful in telling me what was happening with my case and had Jeshua contact me today. Then I got to thinking. I paid about 8,000 to get a payment installment that is basically the same from what I was able to get ON MY OWN with the IRS several years prior. Why am I paying 8,000. I have left messages for Bill and *** for answers because this does not make any sense. I'm in a worse state with the IRS and I'm still paying on that 8,000 dollar loan. I feel as though I have been taken advantage of and sold false goods.

My frustration is that this company is too busy to even care about my case. In fact, I was told they were too busy. I just want some communication. I want someone to sit down with me and explain what my 8,000 dollars has gone towards and why with so much promise of better days, has my 8,000 dollars turned into nothing more than a bad decision in choosing this company to handle my tax problems.

This tax company , American Tax solutions,never sent me any tax information, asked for any tax information to update my 2016,2017,2018. I, Laudette Moore Baker, contacted American Tax solutions on August 7 for tax assistance with the above years. I was informed that my taxes would be on completed in two weeks. Not only were my taxes never done, I was never contacted by any tax representative in the two weeks nor any tax, lawyer or any one from August 7-11, 2020. Two weeks later was not contacted. I was not contacted until October. And all I was asked for was money. I never received any information on two of the three years stated above. I received no follow up calls, emails, text messages for two weeks. I also did not receive any information after 30 days. My bank refunded my money on Oct 7. Then on Dec. 1, 2020, my bank Chase Bank , gave American tax solutions , 600,00 of my money from my account without my knowledge. I have requested and I have asked American Tax solutions for a full refund of 600.00. Chase bank had no right to give American tax solutions any of my money from my account without my knowledge or permission. American tax solutions gave Chase bank a document that was signed but did not ask me if the signature was my signature. Chase just gave American tax solutions my money without my knowledge of permission I canceled my account in writing around August 11 or 12, due to the slow mail, the mail may not have gotten their in 4 days. I am very upset with Chase bank for giving my money away without my knowledge. BEWARE do not use this company to have your taxes done. BEWARE This company will take your money. This company has taken my money and Chase Bank allowed this to happen without my knowledge. URGENT inform OTHER Tax payers.

I received a threatening letter about my taxes and my house being seized. The letter was dated so that I would know if I didn't contact them my bank accounts in my name would be seized. The letter appears to come from Cook County and the Federal Tax authorities. I know I have paid my tax debt so I called to find out if this was just a problem with paperwork not being updated in the system. The person who answered the phone told me to go to the county clerk to get a release as if they were some sort of authority. Yes, just go there and get the release. So I proceeded to spend two hours on hold trying to get through to the IRS to make sure everything was in order. They reported to me yes, no problems. Additionally telling me they thought this could be fraud but would send by mail confirmation that all is paid with my taxes and I am current. Additionally, I forwarded this letter to my accountant. He was curious as they have all sorts of official deception on the letter such as, a file number and Form *** which he had to look up- only to find it doesn't even exist. This letter caused me extreme duress, I was threatened with a deadline and possible seizures. There is no company letterhead anywhere on the mail or any identification when you call. I found out who they were on a later phone call after many calls where they repeatedly would not identify themselves on the phone. How is this legal'? They have my information, but I am not told who they are. These predatory *** are mailing me threatening letters with a phone number to contact them, impersonating the government, and when I find out they aren't the government, they don't identify themselves. I looked up the company- attorneys. Maybe I should be billing them for my hours, with my own carefully constructed invoice?

In April I engaged Get A Tax Lawyer (GATL) to advise me on my taxes. I sent files to Processing Department, *** W *** XXXXX On April 29, 2022 I signed a POA to ***, it's employees, affiliates, etc to apply for an EIN in my behalf. Over the next month or two I sent my confidential financial information to American Tax Solutions, an affiliate of Getataxlawyer. My assigned caseworker was *** , (XXX) XXX-XXXX. For some reason, *** was unable to open the files I sent so I sent them again on 06/27/2022 and again on 07/04/2022. My 2nd quarterly estimated tax payment to the ORS was due June 15. I had heard nothing from GATL / ATSCO by June 15 so on 07/28/2022 I sent an email to *** inquiring the status of my case #XXXXX. I received no response. On 08/08/2022 I sent another email, addressed to ***. On 08/10/2022 I received a phone call from *** (XXX) XXX-XXXX who acknowledged my receiving my email or 08/08/2022. She said she would email someone higher up in the company regarding my account and call me back when she received a reply to her email. Today is 08/19/2022 and I have yet to receive a response to any of my inquiries. As of today, 08/19/2022, I have received no document or even a verbal phone confirmation that this company has done anything at all in my behalf. I regretfully waited to make my 2nd estimated tax payment to the IRS until 08/18/2022 waiting to hear from someone, anyone from GATL / ATSCO, thereby incurring penalties and related fees to the IRS. My mistake for trusting this company. I *** revoke the POA I granted them and I demand a refund of the full amount of the *** fee I paid them on 05/02/2022 via debit card.

In April *** Tax *** contracted to dissolve my *** & St tax issues for *** I paid in full in Aug they have done nothing to resolve my case. Case #XXXXX, I Spoke with *** in April , who gathered all of my personal info and promised smooth resolution within 3-4 mos. Info sent immediately & I was contracted with *** their affiliate, to debit *** bi-weekly but they wound up deducting *** bi weekly despite my complaints .I tried several times to change the debit amount but to no avail. Several months passed and each time I called to complain, no one responded. Finally *** called & said she was my case manager & to direct all calls to her. After another couple of months and several calls from me, a guy named *** emailed me and said he was going to do my taxes & for me to send him the same info that I had already submitted. I did send it again. Then nothing. Another few weeks passed and I got a Notice of *** from the State so I called *** and she answered. She said it was nothing and not to worry. In the meantime, I had requested an invoice from them to detail the amount I had paid them as I was sure the balance was paid in full. Someone finally sent me an invoice in August stating that the account was paid in full for *** However, I was still getting notices from their finance office saying that I had a balance due and they were going to send my case to collections and the credit bureau. To date, no work has been done on my case after 8 months. Communications are sparse and usually initiated by me. I am seeking a full return of my payments *** I am not interested in negotiations as this situation has been extremely stressful and I have made multiple sacrifices to pay for services that were never delivered. I am 73 years old and I'm tired. Please help me resolve this matter. Thank you in advance.

This company advertises their ability to greatly reduce tax bills using legal loopholes and strategies for regular people, as their main selling point. When I first called them they collected some information from me before determining my eligibility and reassuring me that I'll get a significant reduction on my tax bill. They also said that I would benefit from creating a business entity which was included in the price of $6500. During the next 3 months very poor communication and very few services had been provided. After dozens of frustrated attempts to reach someone at the company, leaving multiple messages and sending many emails to ask a few questions and discuss my case in more detail, I received tax documents to sign that were prepared with incorrect information and which showed no reduction in taxes owed whatsoever. The return was filled out as if it was quickly plugged into some tax software. Again, I tried to reach someone at the company seeking explanations, but no one ever called got back to me. Considering how extremely dissatisfied I was with their services, I called my credit card company to dispute the charges. That's when they finally called back. They were concerned about their money. After 2 short conversations, I was told (yelled at) by the manager that I don't actually qualify for the tax reduction (the only reason I hired them in the first place), and he said I still need to pay them $3000 for creating that business entity (which they insisted I needed because it would be beneficial for my taxes) . At this point not only do I still have to hire another company to prepare my 2021 taxes, but I also have the same large tax bill to pay, plus I'm now liable for the interest that accumulated while they were basically ignoring me for over 3 months. The least they can do is dissolve my contract and refund the full amount..

Paid services not produced. Miss- representation and false statements made by customer representatives. Bad faith efforts by support staff. Whole thing seems to be a scam. $5000 was paid for tax services that were never provided or even initiated. It cost an additional $1200 for me to obtain and submit prior year tax returns to ATS (American Tax Solutions). ATS took no action on my account, and when I followed up with them months later, they claimed to never received my documents. After I Provided them with USPS tracking information, ATS admitted and confirmed that the "processing center" DID receive my documents however they lost them. I was told they would "reach out" to other departments and managers/supervisors about my case, But they refused to provided me with direct emails or other contact information. Every time I contact ATS They claim to not have record of my refund request, or account communications, until I prove them wrong by providing specific dates / numbers & names. ATS will then Magically find my info and say they will "reach out" and I will be contacted. This cycle has been going on for over 8 months. When they do contact me it is from a phone number that is unreachable. After Payment of initial service fees and submission of client intake documentation, ATS reviewed my case and contacted me. They Claimed to have a Settlement Offer from the State of Hawaii. ATS said it was time sensitive, and they needed additional $3000 payment from me in order for them to proceed before the expiration. I made the payment to them because they promised resolution in two weeks or less, and reversal of prior tax payments, fees, and HI State actions against me. The Hawaii County Department of Taxation said they've had zero communication from ATS. I don't believe ATS has or ever had any intention of providing me tax services, or a refund of the thousands of dollars I paid to ATS. Case

I have been in business with this company for six months now. Originally I was skeptical but when I talked to *** he assured me and promised that they could get my debt reduced down *** and that their services were guaranteed. Within the past six months I've had three separate case managers and not one has reached out to update me with any information. I just received a call today from a new case manager stating that the settlement had been taken up on January 31 of 2022 and then nothing has changed as she stated that the attorney was able to set me up on a payment plan that I could've done myself for $200 with the IRS. I am now $*** in debt with American tax solution and made all my payments on time them only to set me up on a payment plan with no further information. I am more than willing to pull up my call records and submit them to the complaintsboard.com to show that I have made multiple attempts to reach out to my Case Manager regarding my situation. I always get another worker other than the one I'm seeking and they clearly state (I will have them call you back at their earliest convenience) So 3 weeks is the earliest you could call a paying customer back only to switch case managers again ? This company is a scam and people who are hurting put trust into this company to help them. The way they treat us is not humane or sincere at all. They steal your money and make false promises. I think what hurts the most is that I was hesitant to spend the extra money due to the passing of my brother and being the financial support for my mother but *** made me feel comfortable , Secure and safe with my decision because of his promises. He lied to me and my family and knew my situation then avoids me at any cost. I'm not sure if the training shows how to kick people when they're down but the workers here sure showed how it's done. I hope no one has to go through this again.

I decided to do Business with this company American Tax Solution my tax debt would possibly go down and I wouldn't get any liens or garnishments, I paid $*** for this service and after I fully paid I had to stay on them to do their job. I have given them personal info,w2's dating back to *** all the way to *** my case worker assured me everything was filed and going well, I told my worker I had received letters from the IRS saying my taxes were not filed, my case worker assured me she would get to the bottom of it which I feel like she never did because I ended up being garnished $750 out of each paycheck which lead me to call the IRS I spoke to an agent who said they only received my 2020 & 2021 taxes which took me by surprise because I gave this business my information dating back to 2014. Before I called IRS I called American tax solution to see what can be done about this problem because the whole point of me Business with them is so that I would not have this problem. I have been calling leaving messages I've been told someone from upper management would call me back and I haven't received a phone call or anything, I called and texted my caseworker and she has yet to get in touch with me and I've been doing this for 3 weeks now. I feel like this business has taken advantage of me,they received payment for a service and I still ended up with garnishments and liens put on me, everything that I didn't want to happen is exactly what happened, and I have called numerous times to resolve this issue however they have left me by the waist side! American Tax Solutions and I ("Client") entered into an agreement dated March *** Client paid American Tax Solutions $*** for the following services: 1. File 9423 Form Collection Appeal Request 2. Long Term Power of Attorney until 2023 3. Offer and Compromise 4. Dissolve the Business Client has attempted to contact American Tax Solutions on multiple occasions. The IRS continues to contact Client and demand payment. When Client forwards these notices to a representative of American Tax Solutions, he is told to not pay it and they will work out a solution. Unfortunately, this is not the case. American Tax Solutions has not taken action on this matter to protect Client's interests. Its lack of action has been detrimental to Client's situation. Client paid $*** for a service that was not provided. It has been over seven months and American Tax Solutions failed to perform any of the services as provided in the agreement. Client's claims with the IRS have accrued significant penalties and have continued to accrue interest. Now the Client's accounts have been garnished. These are damages that are directly related to American Tax Solution's failure to perform as provided under the agreement. Further, Client is unable to get in contact with American Tax Solutions. They will not return Client's calls. They refuse to give Client a copy of his contract. Client has had his attorney write American Tax Solutions a letter and follow up by phone. The attorney has received similar treatment. American Tax Solutions will not return the attorney's call, forward the attorney a copy of Client's contract or otherwise respond to the attorney on the matter. Client paid for a service that was never provided. Phone calls were not returned. Action was never taken. This was a significant detriment to Client. Client wants to be refunded the *** he paid American Tax Solutions. American Tax Solutions did not benefit Client or fulfill its obligations under the contract.

This company had a rep, *** call me after submitting questions about an audit I received in which the IRS claimed I owed *** I was interviewing several companies, but *** took in all the details, including my telling them that I did NOT have receipts for the year that this audit was for. I was on the phone for an hour with *** convincing me that they would be able to get this completely removed completely, 100%, and had the only strategies for getting it done correctly. I was told about Complaintsboard.com Complaints on this company, by one of the other companies that I was interviewing, but was told that was just a competitive strategy to win me over. Fast forward, I had a case manager for almost a year, ***, who avoided my questions like the plague. I would consistently go weeks with no updates and most of the time would have to contact her repeatedly, sending 20+ copies of my emails at once some days (I have copies of all of this and the timelines) to bombard her and get a response. This went on for almost a year with no progress. After 9 months I find out that the lawyer *** works with caused 2 additional IRS audits because of negligently submitting a combination of documents and statements. His lack of skill or just plain lack of concern for clients not only did not deliver on promised outcome, it costs me *** additional penalties, $*** instead of $***. The lawyer, ***, who I have never gotten an email or vm from this entire time, just left the most rude and obnoxious vm yelling at me for simply asking polite questions about my payment options to the IRS and accured interest. These people are the biggest scam artists ever and are stealing *** per client by promising outcomes they can't deliver in the midst of a desperate situation. I'm going to have to seek legal action against them just to get a refund for the *** I paid them to cause an additional *** do my amount owed. This has been a disas

I hired this company on *** for *** and it has been a nightmare! They just take your money and run with it. I started having communication issues from the beginning, but after speaking with ***, I decided to give them a chance by the promise that they would assign the same case manager for me, my business, and my business partner, to avoid further confusion on their part and miscommunication. Furthermore, that we would be getting frequent updates on our case. This did not happen! I believed him and it was the worst decision I could have made. They changed the case manager without even notifying us. The new case manager does not even return emails or calls and asked for the same documents that have been sent already and that, according to the first case manager, were filed for an audit reconsideration; leading to think that they have not been working on my case at all! When I inquired about this, *** just ignored my emails for over a month until I reached out to the higher ups by email. I immediately received a call from *** who promised, once again, that things would be different and that*** would be in contact with me to provide me updates, this was on *** and my attempts to get an answer continue to be ignored. I asked for a refund on 5/24/2022 and she answered on *** that my request was sent over to the Quality Assurance department and that they *** contact me. As of today, after sending follow up emails and a phone call, they still have not gotten back to me. It seems their MO is to sweet talk potential clients into hiring them and then when they are unresponsive, they start making empty promises to have the clock running and a refund is harder to request. This company is either overworked and understaffed, or they just want to take your money. I do not want any calls, I want my money back and everything in writing, as I have asked them before, because I do not trust their words anymore.

My husband acquired American Tax Solutions to resolve his back tax issues. They told him that the fee was *** in which they helped him, or guided him to secure a loan to pay their fee to have their "accounts & lawyers" go over all of his back tax returns. After I had sent all the documents they requested, my husband was told that it would take 4 - 8 months for them to have an answer and to send any and all tax notices to them, which I have done to this date. Then in *** they withdrew $*** from my husband's checking account without notice to him. After many attempts to call to see why this was done he got the run around and questioned his original contact since he was told that the $*** fee they charged him upon acquiring their services was all he had to pay. Then he was told that the $*** was for 3 years of arrears and that another $*** would be withdrawn for the remaining 3 years of back taxes, but still now answer as to why the $*** fee didn't cover that when he was told that the fee included all monies needed to help reduce his back tax amount. So after countless calls and no answer my husband called the bank and blocked the company from withdrawing any more funds from his account. He then called and told them that the bank *** not be allowing them withdrawal access to his account. When they heard this he finally got a call and was told that they *** not be withdrawing the remaining *** because it was supposed to be covered by the initial *** but where is the first $*** they withdrew? Who knows? My husband contacted them this *** to have them finish the work they started prior to him putting their services on hold due to the withdrawal issues and was told that it should be resolved by October but that we should not pay any taxes if he owed for 2021 because us paying the 2020 taxes that were owed *** really hurt his case. ? Who tells someone not to pay the IRS? We just wanted this taken care of and it's more of a headache now.

Possible scam claiming to be Tax Consultants. I originally was speaking to *** who advised he could help with tax preparation for me and my husband. Stated he would be sending over some documents explaining what to send back. I received an email but a very vague list written by him requesting my personal information. He mentioned he would have his assistant send me out some documents that would need to be filled out and returned. Never received them. I emailed him asking for the docs, but never received a response. Three weeks later, I get a text asking if I'm still in need of assistance and he would be calling me shortly. He introduced himself as the manager and stated he's over all of the tax professionals but would not give me his name. After a few times asking, he finally stated his name is ***. He asked for my social security number and my husband's, he stated would get everything out to us that's needed to start the tax process. After giving him all of my personal information, he stated he will need payment of $500 up front. I advised that that's not what was originally explained to me. He then became hostil and stated he has 7 other appointments to get to and hung up on me. I'm now very concerned because he has my personal information and it doesn't sound like a legitimate company. I called the main directory number and asked if a *** is an employee there. Assistant confirmed he is but is in a different location. I requested to speak to a manager and got sent to a voicemail. After calling back, assistant sent me to *** who claimed to be the Retention/Quality Assurance Manager. He stated he deleted all of my information from their system and he will go to ***'s desk to make sure none of my information is on it. I advised I just spoke to the secretary who said *** isn't even in that office. *** then began to say that he sometimes goes to other office locations and he will make a trip to ***'s office. He also mentioned calls are recorded and will be listening in on the call that occured between me and ***. I requested he contact me back after doing so to give me some type of reassurance. He said he would call me the next business day. I haven't heard from him since.

Service not rendered after having my husband to pay $*** to start the process then take a loan for $*** NOTHING has been done! My husband Harold Plummer contacted American Tax Solutions after seeing their advertisement on TV to help with back taxes. He had panicked and stressed because I kept asking about our tax situation & he kept telling me it was being taken care of. The 1st person "assigned" to our case said they could help but required $*** to begin the process plus a list of items needed. My husband complied with their request. My husband would check periodically on their progress. It was hard to contact them & usually you get a recording, but whenever they finally returned his call they would give him another list of items they needed & say they were working on it & just waiting for him to fax the items requested. There was never the same person helping & they are extremely hard to reach by phone; always the same reply, we are working on it but needed more documents. This all began February & still nothing has been done, but, they needed an additional $*** & had Lending USA, ***, whom they worked closely with contact me (Barbara Plummer) . Kevin Castro, Underwriter [protected]@lendingusa.com. I was told this loan needed to be in my name & was for additional fees for American Tax Solutions. I did not know the full extent of all of this until this past February when my husband broke down crying & told me the whole situation. All I knew was that he had hired a company to help us with this situation & that he felt helpless & that he had no other options & was fearful we would loose everything. I feel that this company who seems to partner with Lending USA takes advantage of these situations especially elderly (we are both in our70's) people who think they have no other options & they continue to get by with this We have since gotten the needed help to file our taxes & have pretty much caught up. Almost all of the documents that American Tax Solutions said they needed were not necessary. We feel it was a stall tactic. We have 2 state tax lein's that will need to be removed.. American Tax Solutions has done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to help us except ask for more documents & cause us debt with LENDINGUSA. We are both stressed completely out & both cardiac patients. This has caused me extreme anxiety. This company does NOT do what they advertise they can do & it appears when they get confronted the either get on the ball & get results or say something to the effect, so sorry there is nothing we could do but we tried & you are out a large amount of money that we could all use. As for me I am totally Angry at this entire situation.

ATS agreed to resolve my IRS dispute within 21 days from 13MAR20 for *** ATS has not resolved my IRS issue nor returned the *** as requested. ATS is a Tax Solutions Service Company I hired to resolve my IRS Tax dispute. I provided information on my IRS Tax situation to Wesley Turner's / Tax Expert / ATS. He reviewed all the information, we discussed my situation and a fee of *** to specifically obtain a IRS Tax Lien Release was agreed by *** / ATS to resolve my IRS Tax issue and to obtain a IRS Tax Lien Release within two (2) to three (3) weeks' time from Contract signing. *** / ATS created the Contract Service Agreement for their Services to resolve my IRS Tax issue. I signed the Contract Service Agreement in 'Good Faith' and paid the *** Service Fee on March 13. *** / ATS advised me in the interest of resolving my IRS Tax issue named ATS Case #XXXXX, that I avoid a IRS Appeals hearing scheduled for Thursday, March 19 at 10: AM EST. I followed *** / ATS instruction and did not respond nor attend the IRS Appeals hearing scheduled on Thursday, March 19. On Tuesday, April 21, I was contacted by a *** / ATS that some type of resolution at *** might be arraigned with the IRS, however, the IRS did not have my 2017 Federal Tax Return which I had filed electronically by H&R Block on Friday, March 6 and would be needed to bring my Case #XXXXX to an equitable conclusion by Friday, April 24. I was also informed by *** / ATS that my Case #XXXXX could be concluded in the payment of additional *** fee to ATS with the vague reference to the involvement of a IRS Revenue Office (?) to resolve my case. When I agreed to make a full payment of *** to the IRS to resolve their Claim but balked at the additional ATS fee, *** made the assertion that then ATS would not work in my interests by just letting the full IRS disputed claim go unchallenged. I informed *** / ATS that he was unaware of my ATS Contract Service Agreement arraigned and negotiated with *** / ATS and to get *** into our conversation. A conference call with *** and *** was held the same Tuesday afternoon, April 21 PM to discuss the particulars of our *** / ATS Contract Agreement. On the same Tuesday afternoon, April 21 PM after the conference call, I received an autocratic email from *** / ATS in response to the conference call with *** stating: Per our conversation, we have come to the conclusion from this point you have two choices : A. We can draft an additional service agreement detailing the scope of services that were not covered in the original agreement and continue with the resolution/lien subordination. B. We draft an addendum to the original service agreement and bill you hourly for the time we have spent on the case. The reason I hired *** / ATS to resolve my IRS Tax issue is because I am not a IRS Tax Expert. After thorough review of my IRS Tax situation, *** / ATS created the Contract Service Agreement based on his expert tax knowledge and the tax information I provided. I received the overpayment calculation for my 2008 Federal Tax Year in dispute from H&R Block and provided to *** / ATS on Wednesday, May 13. Additional IRS withholdings for 2020 amounting of *** was sent previously to *** / ATS on Wednesday, April 1. A hard copy of my 2017 Federal Tax Return which was filed electronically by H&R Block on March 6 and that the IRS represented they could not find was sent to Wesley Turner / ATS on May 20. As of Wednesday, May 20, *** / ATS has refused to resolve my IRS Tax issue under the terms our Contract Service Agreement and the *** Fee paid under the vague reference that a IRS Revenue Officer is involved preventing him resolving my IRS Tax issue which is meaningless to me and which his tax expertise was hired to navigate.

The person I was told to contact to resolve my problem: ***. I have left multiple messages for *** and spoken to a receptionist named *** since January 2022. He has never returned a single call or responded in any way. I was told that talking with him was the appropriate route for me to take. I am ***. Thumbnail version of my situation: 1. I contacted ATS. Was told my situation was not difficult to resolve. Would cost me about $3,700. That my case was a HARDSHIP. Meaning that my sister lived below poverty, was very i'll and aging. She would NEVER be able to repay IRS. 2. ATS set up a payment plan. All of the money was paid by April . 3. I never heard from the agent again who took my money. His name was ***. I called his number for weeks and left messages. Finally someone picked up his phone*** and was told that he had left the company weeks, months ago. Not one person had contacted me. Was the intent to take my money and provide no service? Based upon their treatment of me so far, the answer is YES. 4. Several weeks later, a*** and identified herself as my agent. She wanted to send me a packet of questions about my sister that needed answers. I told her *** had sent that packet. My niece and I painstakingly answered and returned to ***. She obviously did not know this. But yet another clue that ATS had taken my money without ever intending to provide a service. No one seemed informed about my situation even though I had fully paid for services several months before. 4. I had suggested to *** that my sister had been ill for several years Vascular dimentia alone would help explain her tax and other issues. I suggested that talking with her doctor and the medical records people would get us all of the info IRS and ATS might need to get case resolved. To get us to Hardship. I worked very, very hard for those medical reords. I was told that they were to ATS. But no one from ATS ever contacted me or said anything. I called several times and was told a package did arrive but they were not sure where it was. 5. For the year 2020, essentially nothing was done on my case except to set up a payment plan. When*** called to tell me she was my new agent, she was cordial, concerned and would periodically call me to check on my sister. This was 2020 and 2021. But NOT ONCE did she ever update me on my case. I was waiting for her to say ATS attorneys have talked with IRS and... . Nothing even close. Two years for no movement on a case I was told was not difficult at all. Hardship will not be difficult to get on behalf of your sister. My family was doing all it could to care for *** including 24 hour sitters which snout killed us. We also taxed ourselves so that we could eliminate her house and auto debt, making her SS monthy funds better meet her needs. We raised an amount that was a minor fortune for ordinary, working class Black people. The State of Alabama made two home visits and decided that while our hearts were in the right places, it was not good or safe for *** at home. She was immediately placed in a medical facility until a nursing home could be identified. That is where she is now. I asked the State SW to write s *** so that we were all clear about my sister's health and financial matters. what I wanted s *** and ATS to understand was that after the State took her, my sister had all of $30 per month for personal needs. For two years, ATS had not done anything. And here was the State of Ala telling them that Hardship, nothing mattered because all of her income minus $30 was gone. I am not sure yet if ATS quite understood what I was saying. The D State of Ala had made the tax situation irrelevant. ATS by January 2022 had two years to resolve this case. It did not. I asked for a full refund and have been given a thorough run a round since. My sister's life and the lives of her one daughter and two grands are so fire that even my husband and I paid the $3700 ATS fee, I would ask that the full refund be given my sister to purchase a wherlchair, major dental work and phone service. $3700 will not go far. But it will help my struggling family. Thank you do much for all of the cooperation you have thus far given me. It is clear to me that ATS has no intention of doing what is right.
