This company is super honest, they really know their stuff. I got my windows replaced and they did an amazing job! I'm so happy with how they turned out!

Had a good time working with AM! My roof was leaking, and Rob came the same day, patched the roof, and said the office will be in touch. Gina called me the same day, and scheduled an inspection with Cody. Cody came, went into the attic, found the issue, and showed it to me. I'm happy it was a small repair, and not full replacement. Thanks for being honest, and the great customer service.

Me and my hubby signed up with AM Group of Companies Ltd in April and we were pretty happy with all the stuff they promised us, like the 50 year shingle guarantee and the touch up work. They even painted the flashing brown to match the new roof. The work was done in May '19, but it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows. We had a stack of shingles sitting in our driveway for months and no one came to pick them up. We had to move them ourselves because they were getting in the way of snow removal. Then, in September , we had leaks in our roof after the first big rain. We called them several times, but they kept saying someone would come tomorrow or next week or Thursday. No one ever came. We gave up for the winter, but started bugging them again in the spring. Finally, in the summer of 2020, someone came and put some sealant along the wall where the back addition joins the main house. It helped a bit, but the leak is still there. They said they couldn't do anything about the newest leak because it comes from under a small Widows' Walk, which is treated differently. They offered to give us an estimate, but we didn't want it. They said they would send someone to lay down a sheet of rubber, but that was over a month ago and no one has come back. They promised us touch up work along the flashing at the back of the house, some painting, and a final inspection, but none of that has been done. It's been 15 months and we paid $25,000.00 for a contract that was never fulfilled. We have water damage inside that gets worse with every rain and we will have to spend more money to get it fixed. It's a real bummer.

So, I was talkin' to this guy Larry M. 'bout gettin' some work done on my roof. He sent me a contract sayin' it was gonna cost $11416.18, but we agreed on $10347 in an email. I told him 'bout the mistake and he said it should be $10347. I signed the contract after fixin' the price. But then, Larry called me today sayin' they can't do it for that price and now it's gonna cost $10587. And get this, they ain't even gonna fix the roof before puttin' on the new one. They're backin' outta the whole thing. Not cool, man.

I got a quote from AM Group of Companies Ltd last year to change my gutters and down spouts. I bought the leaf guard too. When they came for the final check and payment, we noticed that the down spout on the front of the house was not secured. They came back to fix it, but they accidentally cracked the brick. It took them months to come back, and when they did, they said I needed to supply another brick. In the meantime, they drilled it back on a bent angle and said they would come back once I got a replacement brick. I've been calling and emailing them since last November to put in the replacement brick, but they haven't responded to any of my messages.

I got AM to fix my eaves that were leaking. They did it, but it still leaked when I checked. I called and emailed them a lot, and they sent Jesse to fix it. But it didn't work, and it leaked even worse at the end of the run. It's going to ruin my deck and cottage fast. I've tried calling and emailing them, but they haven't responded.

I had some roof problems and I reached out to AM Group of Companies Ltd for help. They did a quick fix about a year ago, but it didn't last long. Now, the same problem is back and I can't get them to come back and finish the job. I've called a few times and they keep saying they'll schedule it, but nothing happens. I even emailed the boss, but no response. I first called in July and then again two weeks later, but still no luck. I'm worried about animals getting into my attic during the winter, so I really need this fixed. I don't know why they're not taking care of their work on my house.

This company said they would do a site walk through before and after the work, but they didn't. They didn't return my calls and communication was bad. They didn't give me a final review or invoice before sending it to the finance company. I tried to contact them in different ways, but no one called me back to hear my complaint. I sent an email to the sales person who sent it to the VP of the company and the site manager. The site manager responded to me in a rude way and said I was lying. They did work that I told them not to do and charged me for it. If they had done the site walk through like they said, this wouldn't have happened. They didn't give me a final receipt or report of the work they did. I don't know what I'm being charged for and I want my money back for the work they did without my permission.

I had some problems with AM Group of Companies Ltd when they came to install my eaves. The crew didn't call ahead of time, so I didn't know they were coming. They also damaged my Christmas lights and didn't finish the backyard section. They left a big mess with spikes, scrap metal, and screws all over the place. When they came back for a second trip, they didn't know what they were supposed to do and had to be told by a family member. They did finish the backyard, but they still didn't clean up properly. On the third trip, they didn't call ahead again and no one was home. They eventually finished the job, but there were still more problems. To make matters worse, they took final payment without my permission.

AM put in leaf guards and snow guards for us in Nov. 2020, as suggested by their sales guy, Luke W. He said we should use snow gem snow guards with adhesive, and we said okay. But on Nov. 19th, I called AM to say that some of the guards had fallen off. They said they'd tell the product manager, but I didn't hear back. Then on Nov. 27th, I called again to say most of the guards had fallen off. They said they'd tell the project manager, but I didn't hear back. On Dec. 2nd, I sent a message on the company's live chat and got a call the next day from Larry S. We talked, and he said Luke W. would get back to me. But he didn't. I left voicemails on Jan. 5th, 6th, and 12th, but no one called me back. On Jan. 15th, I asked for contact info for a company boss, but they said no. Later, Larry W. called me and said they did the job as agreed and were done. But I said they didn't finish the job, since the guards fell off. Larry said he'd talk to management and call me back on Jan. 18th. But he didn't. I called him on Jan. 25th, 27th, Feb. 1st, and 5th, but he didn't call me back. I don't want anything to do with AM anymore, except to get my money back for the snow guards. I don't trust them to put the guards back on right or give me a warranty.

We got AM Group of Companies to do some work in our crib. They did our windows and patio door, which was dope. We also had them do spray foam in our basement rec room and bedroom. But when the dude left after doing the spray foam, he left it past the studs, even though he knew we were drywalling after that. It's like an inch past the studs, man. We asked for 3 inches of spray foam, which we got in some spots, but on four of the five walls, it's anywhere from a 1/4 inch to an inch or more past the 2x4" studs. We know spray foam can expand up to an inch, and the studs are 1/2 an inch away from the outside wall, so there shouldn't be an issue. But the dude tried to cut it back and did a crappy job with a reciprocating saw, which I guess isn't the right tool for the job. He also left a big mess that we had to clean up before our drywall contractor could come in. Yesterday, with our current contractor, we found a wire that was nicked by the spray foam guy, as you can tell by his cut marks. We're lucky there's no power on in that room yet. If there was, he would have been badly shocked, and it would start a fire if it wasn't caught and drywall put over it. We called in our electrician, who said it sounds like it needs to be rewired, which means cutting into the spray foam and rerunning the new wire. That means added expenses we weren't expecting. Plus, we have to cut away the excess spray foam ourselves so our contractor can install the drywall right.

I called AM Group of Companies Ltd for my new home's steel roof and skylight installation. They gave me a long presentation, but I agreed to insulate my attic, install four skylights, and snow stoppers. The bill was high, but I wanted everything done right. I wanted spray foam for the attic insulation, but they couldn't do it because of the steel tiles. They installed the skylights and snow stoppers, but the skylights leaked in the first winter. They came back twice, but it still leaked. They said it was condensation and I had to finish the inside trim. I had to rent scaffolding to do it. The snow stoppers ripped off, leaving holes in my roof. They damaged my eaves and left screws and trash. They never returned my calls, and I had to ask another company to replace the damaged tiles. My roof and skylights look worse now, and I'm worried about mold in the attic.

AM Group of Companies Ltd (http://amgoc.ca/) has some problems with their work. They didn't do a good job and were dishonest. They also didn't follow the contract. We don't trust their products or work anymore. They were supposed to make and install custom windows with a warranty, but the windows were the wrong size and didn't fit right. AM tried to cover up the mistakes, but we stopped them. They eventually admitted the windows were wrong and said they would replace them. It took a long time to get the new windows, and AM was not helpful. They didn't communicate well and left our home vulnerable to damage. The new windows were installed by the same person who made the mistakes before. We still have problems with the windows, and AM won't fix them. We paid AM in full, but they won't give us the warranty. We found out that AM didn't make the windows, another company did. That company won't give us the warranty because we dealt with AM. We have tried to get the warranty from AM, but they won't give it to us. We want a detailed account of what we paid for, the window model and serial number, and a warranty from both AM and the manufacturer. We have tried to contact AM many times, but they won't help us.
