Allsup Terrible communication

Allsup was supposed to help me, but instead I got a different answer everytime I contacted them, I also had to chat because when you call you can tell most of them are at home and have dogs or kids in the background and can tell they are distracted. The main person in charge of my case never response to emails or keeps me updated. after 19 months I was denied benefits and the reason listed was because they did not get the information that SSA asked for. They waited until a deadline was given and still didnt submit the information in time. I even had my case manager at the SSA office call me directly because she could not reach the Allsup person in charge of my case or get a call back after several attempts. Now I have to appeal and go before a judge and I heard that takes longer than the first appeal. I have 60 days to appeal... I am guessing if I stick with Allsup they will wait 59 days to submit anything. It is one thing to be denied, but it is a whole new level to be denied because they did NOT do their job.

This is the worst disability company. I was forced to use them because I was off on *** with Hartford and totally regret it . When my case made the hearing date the attorney assigned to me only emailed me 1 time and called me to get details while her kids were crying in the background. Obviously I lost the hearing because all my attorney said on my behalf is you are depressed right . Like *** ! Then they have nerve not to help me appeal . Tell me wait 1 year and I will qualify under grid rule . I been off 2 years now no income and was deemed unable to perform my past job of 20 years . They tell me go learn something else more sedentary. I am lost . I worked my whole life since I could work now because car accident not my fault ruined my life . Yes Allsup I am depressed more than ever because of you so my life is in your hands and I hope you are happy . I hope you re think the attorneys you hire !

Allsup Avoid Allsup at all costs!

Avoid Allsup at all costs! Terrible communication, no call backs, and does not respond to emails. Also I suspect they have had a data breach and or sold my personal information. The questionnaire they sent to me had probably 300 questions that a SSA rep said are not required it also took about 3 hours to complete. They also require access to your bank accounts in the event of an over payment from my long term disability insurance. I have also been called twice a week to work for them, no way!

I have been with ALLSUP for over a year now and the past 5-6 months waiting for a hearing date. I get a letter in the mail from Social Security Administration stating I'm eligible for a virtual hearing and requesting my phone number and my representatives phone number which I did not have. Contacted Allsup who stated they also just sent me paperwork that I would need to fill out as well and get back to them soonest. Its another authorization for representation form. So I fill it out and send it back. Today at 3am in the morning when the business is closed I get an email telling me a person Ive never even heard of or spoken to is representing me. What is going on with this service?!? You know its pretty bad when you feel you need to speak with an attorney regarding the attorneys who are supposedly looking out for you. I have a spinal cord injury with neuropathy so bad in my legs I often think about cutting them off and it looks like this service kept from having a video hearing. When you have a service that is mostly 1 star reviews on the ComplaintsBoard.com website then a peppering of 5 star flowing eloquent reviews you have to think to yourself are these seeded fake reviews, because they sure look like it. I have created an ALLSUP Customers Facebook group titled "ALLSUP Customers Group" please join if you are not employed by ALLSUP

I have emailed Allsup stating that I wanted to cancel the Authorization for Withdrawal from my back account. My long term disability carrier has stopped making claim payments to me, as if September 17. I have received a email back stating they have received my email stating this. I still have not received anything back from them. They should not have people to sign things like that when the person is in unbearable pain and sick. Its ridiculous that this is even lawfully able to stand, since most claimants are under physical and mental anguish as the point when they get involved. I only want to revoke the Withdrawal authorization and can't get an answer back from them.

Filing for disability is a long and stressful process that I thought only an attorney could manage. With the help of Allsup I was able to successfully march through this strenuous web of paperwork. Everyone one their team was nothing short of professional and super courteous. I've never dealt with people that are so eager to help. After being denied by NYS the first two tries I was given a court date which I was accompanied by an Allsup attorney. With his leadership I was granted a favorable decision and after 18 months, this pivotal stretch of my life is over. I can't say enough about Allsup and the wonderful team they have ! GOOD BY 2020 AND THANK YOU ALLSUP ! Keep up the good work

This company is a scam. Stay far away! They claim they will do all the work and all you have to do is answer questionnaires. That is a lie. I did all the running around and getting the doctors information for them, I also had to do all the work with Social Security for the dependents because they didnt file correctly. And NOW, over a year later they are going to garnish my children's benefits to pay for a fee they NEVER said had to be paid IN ADDITION to the payments they received from Social Security Benefits initial lump sum. DO NOT GO WITH THEM! Get a local attorney to handle this for you. They will be fair, honest, personable, and not give you lies. Allsup told me incorrect information when the Social Security Benefits initial lump sum was received, and because of that, it cost my $6,000+ to resolve and Allsup did nothing. I tried to call Allsup and Social Security to work out this matter and they refuse. They will NOT help you. They will NOT work with you. They WILL claim you owe more AFTER they tell you have paid in full and owe nothing. They WILL garnish funds from minor beneficiaries. If you need help, please contact the lawyer referral service for your state and/or county for a Social Security lawyer. Allsup is a scam, dishonest, and will keep taking things from you, even over a year after they claim everything is done and paid for. Stay far away!

Allsup I filed 2/16

I filed 2/16. Approved in 1/20. As of today's date, I havent gotten the back pay from SSA. I've spent 4 months calling, crying, begging SSA to release my check. There are no issues like child support or fines. But Allsup got paid $4400 within weeks of my hearing. Casey ***, my atty wouldnt return calls or texts begging him for help getting the back pay. Today I called allsup and was told by a lovely lady I only needed to call them and theyd deal with SSA! That's what I was trying to get through my attorney that they assigned me! I've wasted 3 months waiting for something allsup got within 1...my money! They hired an [censored] of an attorney and I want my money back until I get my back pay.

Allsup Allsup is great to work!

Allsup is great to work! The customer service representatives were always so helpful whenever we called or emailed them with questions about the Social Security Disability process for my husband, who was no longer able to work as an elementary school computer lab technician due to several medical issues. We are so grateful that my husband's long-term disability insurance company, ***, suggested Allsup to represent him in his Social Security disability case. Allsup took care of all the correspondence with Social Security and advised us about what medical records are needed so my husband's disabilities. The documentation helped substantially in getting approval from an administrative law judge about 3 1/2 years after my husband stopped working. Allsup representative Brandon *** was wonderful to work with. He was very responsive and prepared my husband well for his telephonic hearing with the judge. We highly recommend Allsup to help you with your disability claim.

Allsup I am amongst the 1st Veterans who have had their case taken on by Allsup (in 2013) regarding representation on VA rating claims

I am amongst the 1st Veterans who have had their case taken on by Allsup (in 2013) regarding representation on VA rating claims. My experience with them has been stellar. I went with them in 2013 as I used to professionally work with them when I worked at *** in the 90's (& they were consistently the best provider of SSDI representation regarding *** clients). Now, I don't understand why there are so many negative reviews on this ComplaintsBoard.com site (as the SSDI process is VERY complicated & requires... patience & understanding). In my case, they do respond in a timely manner (they have caseloads, so if it takes a couple of days to get back to me - I understand the reps also have lives & take occasional PTO or are in court). When this process started, the most I thought 'd be eligible was 30%. My rep worked with me & after digging further into my records, saw that I had a slew of medical problems that were tied to my time in the Marine Corps. I was at 50% in 2015. I then went to 60% in 2017. I am now at 100% (as of 2020). Yes, it took 8 years to get where I am today... but the VA claim process is a slow crawl (& you need people who used to work at the VA to navigate the various twists & turns the government throws at you). Some people use a VSO, a volunteer at various organizations, the DAV, or they use a shark (my term for a paid representative). Some organizations or Vets sneer at these paid reps (saying that they are taking advantage of Vets). To me, I'd rather have someone who knows the system inside & out... who will not rest until all options have been exhausted (& who won't get paid unless they are effective at getting the best results). I never would have gotten to 100% compensation without Allsup (& my representative). And here is a newsflash... my rep at Allsup ALWAYS eventually sits down with me by phone & takes the time to explain everything (& always follows up in a detailed write up). Allsup does not have to do that, they do it anyways. My lfe has changed because of Allsup, & I will never forget them... as they are the real deal - they swim in shark infested waters (& they face a government gauntlet of judges & VA employees). You need to have a shark to swim in those waters. Just ask a Vet sometime (who went through the wringer obtaining his or her benefits)... if they wished they had used a shark/paid representative in their long process. A HUGE 5 star recommendation for this company.

Allsup I hired Allsup in 2017 to handle a case for me

I hired Allsup in 2017 to handle a case for me. Allsup has released themselves from the case. I called to get my file so I can get another attorney and Sarah on 4/8 told me they have no reports on me except the original paper work they get rid of all my doctors questionnaire and any information on me. I do believe being as they were my representatives they can not just get rid of my file.
