Accurate Heating & Cooling came to my house on 7/31 to fix my AC. They charged me $89.00 for a diagnostic fee and another $84.00 for cleaning the coil. I think they charge $90.00 per hour for labor. I called to ask about their labor rate and the technician showed me a charge on his phone. When he left, he didn't give me a bill. I ended up paying $484.00 just for the valve, which is 6 1/2 times the price of $72.82.

I called Accurate Heating & Cooling in September 'cos my thermostat showed an error code. The tech came and said it was the compressor. They checked if it was under warranty and said the part was covered, but we'd have to pay $1175 for labor and freon. We agreed to have them fix it. On October 28, they came and fixed it, but I had no heat. I called and they sent a tech the next day who said he wasn't sure what was going on. Another tech came and said it was a bad TXV valve and would cost $900. I spoke to a supervisor, Ryan, who said they'd make it right. He called back and said a new system would be $6000 or replace the TXV valve. We got a second opinion and they agreed it was the TXV valve. We're running our furnace on emergency mode without the heat pump. We're upset that the issue wasn't diagnosed correctly the first time. They've already been paid for labor and freon, so it's not fair we have to pay again.

On 1-5-2022, Accurate Heating & Cooling did work on the hot water boiler system at ***. They said they changed the pump on the boiler and did other work. They sent the invoice on [protected] (which is attached to this document). The pictures show the furnace's condition when I got involved in early March this year. The unit was not working, and the house was without heat for about 2 months. When I talked to Accurate Heating in Chillicothe, I was put in touch with ***. I told him about the unit's condition and that the house had been without heat for 2 months. He said they had changed the pump with a new one, but it was defective. When I asked about the 2 month delay, he said, "we must have dropped the ball on that one." The conversation was not pleasant because of the time since the last service on the unit, and I told him I would take over the work needed and would invoice for my time, mileage, and parts. ***'s comment was that I would be responsible for the ***, but I told him that I had not asked for the work and was only involved because they did not complete the work and get the unit working. I have since finished the work, and the unit is working correctly, and I have invoiced for my time, mileage, and parts. He has since put the matter in collection in my name.
