Feb 23 2022 I asked AE Door to give me a price to put in a garage door like the one next to it that AE Door put in. But AE Door put in the wrong door that don't have insulation. AE Door wants $4,857.29 more for work to fix the mistake.

I had AE Door & Window come out on July 22 cuz my garage door opener wasn't working right (wouldn't close or open without going up and reversing or down and reversing). The service man (Ron) was here about 30 minutes, said he fixed it. Paid the $116.00 charge and he left. The first time I used the opener that evening, it didn't work, did exactly what it had been doing before the repair visit. Called the company first thing in the morning and could not get someone out again until July 25th. Today, Ron came out again and was here again about 30 minutes. It appears that it's fixed this time with an additional charge of $140.00. I wasn't happy with the additional charge when I received nothing, but wasted time for the first visit. I called AE Door and Window immediately after Ron left and asked for management. The man that answered said he was the general manager. I explained about the charges for last week that had absolutely nothing to fix the door and the new charges for today in that I felt there should have been a credit for the $116.00 charge for July 22. He insisted that I got a bargain because I wasn't charged a trip charge for today and that they could have charged that. I argued that I received nothing for July 22 except wasted time. He told me it would have been $$256.00 today even if they had not come out last week and I would not be getting any credit for last week. He told me their trip charge is $110.00. So for the 30 minutes that they were on July 22 (the $116.00 charge) it was the $110. trip charge and $6.00 labor. Today ($140.00 charge) for 35 minutes it was $113. parts and $27.00 labor. Doesn't add up. The back of their statement also states that their company warrants labor and trip charge for 60 (sixty) days. Obviously, the general manager lied to me and they are running a less than reputable company. It certainly doesn't live up to the recorded message you hear from Bill W while you are on hold, maybe that should be removed. I would also like to know "Task Codes" 7/22 LA. TPRS L & A RES. TRIP CHARGE AND 30. 7/27 LA.LW L&A LABOR WARRANTY.
