This product is pretty good. It does what it's supposed to do, but there are a couple of things that aren't so great. For example, one of the drain valves is really low to the ground, so it's impossible to hook up the hose to drain the unit. I had to lift the unit up by 18 inches just to get it to work. Also, I didn't realize this when I bought it, but it's not energy star compliant. So, even when the temperature in the room is reached, the air conditioner still stays on. It's a bit annoying, but it's my fault for not reading the description properly. Overall, it's still a great buy and I still love it.

The instructions said to turn them on in a clockwise direction, but since the hose was spiraled in a clockwise direction, it was impossible to do so. It was also impossible to turn them on in an anti-clockwise direction. It was like trying to put a left-handed nut on a right-handed bolt, which just doesn't work.

The exhaust hose and its connectors worked just fine as designed, so I think I just received the wrong intake hose. I managed to complete the installation using duct tape to attach the intake hose to its connectors, but it looked pretty shabby. I sent an email to customer service to let them know about the problem and asked them to send me the correct hose. Unfortunately, I haven't received a reply yet.

Despite this issue, I really like the product and I'm planning to order another one if they have any more available. And to make matters worse, I had to mount it on a vertical window.
