AVOID! Do not call them. We needed a ride from the airport at 1 am in Barcelona. Never had been before and didn’t know our way around. Everyone else’s pick up was there at the gate as they should be. Ours couldn’t be found. We called and were told several times he was there and to wait. We waited..and waited.. he didn’t arrive for 40 minutes. That’s an eternity after a long flight. Then we spent the next 10 minutes looking for his car because he got lost. If we had taken a taxi, we would have been in the hotel by the time he found us in the airport. It took him 40 minutes in the middle of the night with no traffic to get us to the hotel. It’s a 16 minute drive normally. When he couldn’t find the hotel, he tried to convince us a church was the hotel. Luckily we were able to show him where the hotel was. We didn’t get to the hotel until 3 am. It was a nightmare. When I complained, they offered me 15% off our next ride. I wouldn’t even take a free ride in the future. Terrible business

I recently used ZIP Transfers for a private taxi service for myself and one other person. However, I was quite disappointed with the service that was provided. Despite booking and paying for a private taxi for only two people, we were instead given a taxi that had six adults and one child. This was not what I had expected or paid for.

The lady who assisted us was not very helpful either. She simply told us that they could not provide a private taxi for just the two of us and suggested that we take another taxi instead. This was very unprofessional and unacceptable. As a paying customer, I expected to receive the service that I had paid for.

Although they assured us that they could provide the service that we needed, they failed to do so. This was a major inconvenience for us and put a damper on our trip. I would not recommend using ZIP Transfers if you are looking for a reliable and professional private taxi service.

I made the booking two weeks in advance for pick up at Rome Fiumicino airport and back to the airport five days later. However, my experience with the company was far from satisfactory.

I was so disappointed with the service that I asked them to cancel the booking altogether. However, they only refunded less than half the charge arguing that they needed to have notice via email. This was quite unfair as I had already called them three times to inform them of the delay.

Overall, my experience with ZIP Transfers was not a good one. I would advise anyone looking for a transfer service to stay away from this company. Their service is unreliable and their customer service is poor.

Despite our repeated attempts to get them to take action, they refused to talk to the driver, remove him from their driver's list, or offer any support whatsoever. Needless to say, we were extremely disappointed with their lack of concern for our safety and well-being.

All in all, I have to say that I would not recommend using ZIP Transfers. While the initial experience may have been okay, the way they handled this situation was completely unacceptable. We will definitely be looking for a different transportation option for our next trip.

I've gotta say, I've used Zip Transfers twice now and they've been top notch both times. Their website is super easy to use and has all the deets you need. When we arrived at the airport, our driver was already waiting for us in the arrivals hall, even though our flight was delayed by like an hour. And let me tell you, the ride from the airport to our resort was smooth as butter in a fancy Mercedes SUV. The driver didn't speak much English, but it didn't matter cuz they were still super chill.

On the way back to the airport, our driver showed up outside our apartment like ten minutes early and we had another sweet ride in a comfy, high-quality vehicle. Both drivers were total pros and really friendly, which made the whole experience even better.

However, when we arrived, there was no one there to assist us. We waited for 15 minutes, but still no one showed up. Frustrated, I made two calls to ZIP Transfers, but it took a while before a representative finally arrived. Although we were in Spain, the lady who came to assist us couldn't speak English, which made communication difficult.

While we were waiting, three older ladies also arrived, expecting their transfer. We were then led down the airport and back to desk 14, with our luggage in tow, but still no taxi. By this time, we had already been waiting for 45 minutes. The representative gestured for us to follow her outside, and we waited for another 30 minutes, but still no transfer arrived. At this point, I gave up and decided to just walk to the taxi rank, which I should have done in the first place.

On our return journey, I didn't bother booking with ZIP Transfers again. Instead, I went to the hotel reception and called a cab. By the time I got outside, the taxi was already waiting for us. It was a much smoother experience than our previous one with ZIP Transfers.

Overall, I was disappointed with the service we received from ZIP Transfers. We paid 66 euros for a specialist transfer company, but we ended up wasting our money. The taxis we used on our own were actually cheaper and more efficient. It was definitely a lesson learned, and I don't think I'll be using ZIP Transfers again in the future.

He even helped me find the Bed and Breakfast where I was staying, which was hidden on the third floor of a commercial center.

Since we'd paid extra to sail through Passport Control because we had to get home for family reasons, we were pretty livid. It would have been quicker (and much cheaper) if we'd taken the train.

I won't use Zip Transfers again, and if you are looking for a reliable, friendly service, I suggest you use one of the many other airport car companies too. It's a shame because I had a good experience with them before, but now I can't recommend them to anyone. It's frustrating when you pay for a service, and it doesn't meet your expectations. I hope they can improve their service in the future, but for now, I'll be looking for other options.

I recently used ZIP Transfers to book a 6 seater car for my trip to Tenerife in August. I booked the car in June and provided the full postal address of my villa. The website gave me a drop-down option of the local town, and I selected Adeje, which was in the address. The price they quoted me for the round trip was ?74, which seemed a bit high, but I went ahead and paid it anyway.

However, two days before our flight, I received an email from ZIP Transfers saying that they couldn't pick us up from our villa on the return trip and that we had to walk 5 minutes down the road to a different location with our luggage. This was not ideal, but we had no choice. On the day of our flight, we arrived at Manchester airport at 4.30am and were waiting in the lounge for our 7am flight when I checked my email again. To my surprise, I received another email from ZIP Transfers saying that the location was wrong, and the price was understated, and they wouldn't be picking us up. They demanded an additional ?70 on top of the ?74 we had already paid for what turned out to be an extra 2-minute journey.

Despite my protestations that I had selected the correct address, they insisted on the extra payment. We were not happy, but we trusted their local knowledge and assumed that the location was quite far away, given the large price increase. However, we later found out that the cost of the trip was only around ?1-2 extra, and local taxi firms said that the maximum cost should be ?25-30 for the trip from the villa to the airport, not the ?144 round trip that ZIP Transfers charged us.

When I contacted ZIP Transfers to complain about the overcharging, they refused to do anything about it and insisted that we had to pay the full amount. I was very disappointed with their customer service and would not recommend this company to anyone. If you're planning a trip to Tenerife, I suggest you look elsewhere or use local taxis instead.

Horrific Experience booked our transfer weeks in advanced, phoned before our trip to confirm, phoned on day of transfer to confirm. Taxi didn’t turn up in time phoned numerous times and constantly lied to about when he would arrive - leaving us in an awful situation. Finally turned up 35mins late, which then meant we hit traffic causing us to almost miss our flight - no apology just a “what can I do” - turn up on time would be the answer!
