So, we told these guys we don't want their stuff and we cancelled ages ago, but they keep ringing us up. It's getting real old, real fast. If they call again, they better be ready to face the music in North Dakota court.

YP Connects sent me an invoice for $549.99 that's due on 6/24. I haven't done any business with them before, but my accountant accidentally paid it without knowing it was a scam. Before the check was made, the company called me and claimed that the invoice was for advertising services that they provided locally and internationally last year. I told them that I never had any services with them since I'm just a small landscape business. The lady on the phone said that they would lower the invoice to $499.00 if I paid it today. I asked to speak to a supervisor, but they said that there were none. When I asked if it was a scam, the lady just said that they would take us off the list and then hung up. Later on, I found out that YP Connects cashed the fake invoice that my accountant paid. I tried to contact them using the email address on the invoice, but it wasn't valid. I want my money back.

So, I got a call from a lady named Jamie at extension 3005 on 10/4. She wanted us to renew our contract and pay the bill for the previous year. But, our accountant and marketing person were not available, so I took her number to call back. She called again on 10/12 and asked if we wanted to renew. I said no, but she said we still had to pay for this month. I didn't have permission to get the invoice, so I told her to send it to accounting. They said we pay monthly bills and don't owe anything. We checked our yellow pages invoice and saw we pay DEX YP. I told Jamie, and she hung up on me.
