Greeting readers! I'm here to share my experience with Web Design Lane, and boy was it a doozy. I'm not one to leave bad reviews, but this experience was so atrocious that I had to speak up and warn others.

First off, let me start by saying that this company has no integrity. If you're even considering working with them, I urge you to turn and run in the opposite direction. Had I done my due diligence and checked the reviews first, I would have never signed up with them.

Let me explain what happened. I'm a small business owner looking to update my website on Shopify. I spoke with someone named Nate, who assured me that Web Design Lane could meet my needs and promised that they would exceed my expectations. He emphasized their 100% refund policy for peace of mind, and that was what ultimately made me decide to work with them. I received a proposal with terms and conditions that were clear and aligned with what Nate had said, so I paid $2599 for their services.

This was the worst decision I could have made. The communication was poor, they refused to understand simple requests over the phone, missed appointments, and the quality of work was below average. I spoke with Jim, Jack, and Dwayne, and Jack was especially abrasive and ignored simple instructions repeatedly. Dwayne, however, was the worst. Despite all this, I was patient and put up with it for 4 months.

I finally decided to take a refund and cancel the project. I was promised someone would contact me in the next few days, but that never happened. I had to repeatedly ask by email and eventually tell them I had cancelled the project indefinitely. After 2-3 weeks, Dwayne Lucas from billing informed me that they would only give me an 80% refund, even though their own terms and conditions promised a 100% refund for 30 days. They claimed to have another set of terms and conditions on their website, but I was never referred to it and my signed proposal had no reference to that clause. Dwayne Lucas flatly refused a full refund and was rude and sarcastic throughout the whole ordeal.

It's been 62 days since I requested a refund, and I still haven't received it. The stress of this whole ordeal has majorly affected my health. Spare yourself the headaches and stress - do NOT work with Web Design Lane.
