VIP Loan Shop review: Phone calls stating that my husband took out a payday loan

A Gentleman called my parents phone number asking for my husband. We never use my parents number for anything. I called the number back and this guy said it was for another name and then said oh I'm sorry then quoted my husbands name and stated that my husband took out a loan for $400.00 and that he was paying on it for 6 months then went to collections. There is nothing on my husbands credit report showing this loan which was supposedly 6 years ago. They are wanting to settle for $800.00. My husband has never taken a payday loan from these people let alone a payday loan ever. Court fees are supposedly adding up and they will wave the $1400.00 penalty. No one from this company will answer any of my questions. This guy just wanted to get my bank information and I told him I will not give anything until I investigate. Stated he will call back on Monday to make a deal. That isn't happening because I still will not give my account information to someone.
