Home Depot - French Doors at HomeDepot in League City Texas

Paid $2.097.80 for French Doors that I never received and Home Depot will not give me my money back. First gave me a date of August 2nd to receive my doors and when I didn't received them I visited the Home Depot in League City Tx. Gave me a new date of August 10th still no doors. Went back to the store and was told they don't have the materials to make the doors and I should check back October 10th. Told them I could not wait that long and I wanted my money back. Home Depot said Ok but I would have to pay a restock fee of 15% for doors they never had, I told them why am I paying a restock fee of something you don't have, seemed to upset the manager and she now refused to give me any of my money back.

Desired outcome: Refund my money back.

What brand and model are these doors? It is possible that they were a special ordered product? CoVid has set a lot of things back within the industry and, unfortunately, it's become a problem for many of the retailers.

The problem may be that the doors are in the process of being produced and, as a result, may not qualify for any form of refund.

Home Depot - GE Refrigerator gss25gypfs, delivery service and HomeDepot.com

On 04-09-22, we purchased all our kitchen GE appliances from Home Depot. On 04-14-22, the appliances were delivered, and the fridge was extremely loud and the doors not level. The delivery driver said that all of this model has that problem. On 04-15-22, we called to swap it out. The week of the 18th they delivered another fridge, but this one had a defective water filter so they took it back. On 04-27-22, they delivered the next fridge, but since they did not have a pickup order for the old fridge, they did not leave the new fridge or pick up the old fridge. They said that someone failed to add the notes for the pickup (either the delivery company or Homedepot.com). The next delivery was supposed to be on 05-02-22. When they did not show up, we called, and the delivery company stated that our replacement fridge did not make the truck so the next delivery was for 05-06-22. On 05-06-22, the delivery guys hooked up the new fridge, and there were error codes on the display of the fridge. The delivery guy said that it would reset in 15 minutes, and they left as soon as possible. My wife called Homedepot.com and spent two hours on the phone with them, and one of the representatives stated that we were the cause of the problem with the fridge. We then contacted GE directly and described what was going on, and they advised the motherboard was bad. We then went to the Home Depot store where we bought the appliances and spoke with the manager. We ended up buying a different model that was an upgrade from the first fridge. The manager advised that we should not let the delivery guys leave or sign the receipt until they have done everything that we asked. The new fridge was delivered, and the delivery guys did everything that we asked-leveled the fridge, balanced (leveled) the doors, and made sure that everything worked. On the 05-13-22, the old fridge was picked up. The delivery guys said that they would have it dropped off within 2 hours, and then we could call to get our refund. I should also say that several different representatives from HD.com stated that when all of this was successfully resolved that we would be eligible for some other compensation. My wife called HD.com after the 2 hours had passed, the Resolution Representative said that he didn't know what she was talking about for the compensation. Our compensation would be the refund. Six days later, and no refund. I am on the phone with HD.com as I type this complaint and have been for 45 minutes.

Desired outcome: I would like my refund for the first fridge, and the compensation they advised that they provide.

Hi Mr. Ratliff.

I have no idea why you're being directed back to HD.com as they have nothing to do with the purchase. Whereas the fridge you've wound up with is an upgrade from the first, you should have simply been charged the difference between the two. Now that the exchange is complete, there shouldn't be any further issues. If that isn't the case, please return to your local Home Depot. They will sort it all out with you there.
